    Engine stalling, Lemon car

    They sold me a lemon car. The salesman keeps trying to tell me theres nothing wrong with the car like I'm crazy. And Nissan service cant figure out whats wrong with the car. Would not recommend this dealership. Redhead "Manager" has a nasty attitude. Don't know how shes employed. Shes got to be related to someone that owns the spot cause she clearly doesnt have a clue about customer service.

    Came with my dad to look at a used 2018 Nissan for financing and left with my dads car. Anita there is amazing and our dealer Humphrey was also great. I ask a lot of questions and he was patient and answered them all. He also had a great vibe and got a long with my dad (which to me is always important how my parents are treated) Ira (the financial manager) also was great he helped out figure out our budget for the monthly payments and was kind. Me and my family had a great experience here. Def. recommend this dealership

    Awe fully bad customer service . Staff need training how to answer a customers phone call or any call for that matter. Rude in the phone.

Maybe even 1.5hour and gave me the price up front. It was reasonable unlike another place that wanted to charge me 49 to mount/balance a tire Waiting room had comfy chairs. There's also a McDonald's around the corner. If I'm ever back in the area, I will stop by for needs The balance and alignment machines are hunter so that's a plus as well

    I had a Kafka-esque, surreal experience at the Pep Boys in Bayside NY (204-11 Northern Blvd, 11361)…read moreon April 18 2026. My bottom line is that it's OK for people to go there for tires or a battery but not anything else, thank you. Here's the back story: I had been at this Pep Boys twice before with no problem - once for tires and once for spark plugs. I have a 2011 Honda Pilot. On April 18 I made an appointment for two oil leaks, the "VTEC Solenoid" and valve cover gasket. Showed up at 9 a.m. as planned to drop off the car. Talked to the guy up front, explained that I was there for two oil leak repairs. He ordered the parts on the phone. Said it would be a five hour job once they get the parts. Not a cheap job - well over $1,000. He said car would probably be ready mid-afternoon. I said I'm not staying and will come back. Here's where things started to go weird. About a half out later I get an email from Pep Boys stating "Let's Reschedule Your Appointment." I thought 'That's strange' but didn't worry about it. And, went home. Around 1pm I thought it would be a good idea to go back to Pep Boys. When I got there around 1:30 sat down in the waiting room. The same manager who I talked to in the morning is running back and forth from the garage to the front desk. We make eye contact. Around 3 pm I'm thinking what's up with the car. I look in the work area and my car is not there. Maybe it's finished I think. I circle around the building, however, and my car is still parked in the same spot outside where I left it in the morning. Curious, I go inside and speak to the same manager again. I ask what's up with the car? He says they are still waiting for one part. Wow. They never called me on my cell to inform me there was a delay in getting a part. He never said a word when spotting me in the waiting room. It's now almost 3pm and even if they get the part, if it's really a five hour job, there's no way it's going to get done that day. He must realize that too but says nothing. Now the place was very busy doing tires and whatever else. I can understand juggling things can be difficult. Maybe they were so busy they didn't have time to handle the oil leak job. If that's the case, just tell me in the morning or at some point. But not to say anything is really rude and unprofessional. I basically wasted my whole day and left with two oil leaks unrepaired (one near the alternator which was the bigger problem). Did I yet at the manager? No. I felt sorry for him. Just asked for my keys and left. Do not go there unless it is an emergency.

    I brought a glitchy RadCity Bike to Edgewares in hopes of getting it fixed. I had just had a bad…read moreexperience at another bike shop where I was told it would be worked on quickly, then 2 hours later they "still hadn't heard from their e-bike mechanic" who was running late I work or something. So I brought the bike back to brooklyn and to Edgewares. The owner of the shop stopped what he was doing to come take a cursory look. When the battery was fizzing he knew there was a bigger issue so instead of promising a quick turn around he said he wanted to find the real problem but it could take time, and he'd follow up with an estimate. I appreciated the quick review and honest timeline. I got a call later that he had discovered some glitchy wires that may have also been shorting the battery and he had contacted rad wagon and found it. It was under warranty and was able to get me a replacement bike. I was floored! I was happy to pay for set up of the new bike as they had put a lot of time into it. When I realize I had forgotten the key lock for the battery when picking up the new bike they came to my house a mile and a half away to pick it up. It was incredible customer service. I have two ebikes and kid bikes and this place will be my go to for servicing in the future !
