I can't find another glass company that will reinstall the glass correctly, so at the moment I'm left with crooked, unsealed glass for my new shower. They also cracked a tile, so the glass had to be removed, the tile repaired, then glass reinstalled. Before the full install, they had a piece of glass that didn't fit and had to reorder. I was told this was the fault of the glass production company they use.

Called several companies. one wanted a 175 dollar deposit just to show up. I by chance called The Glass Guru North, their operator was very polite and told me to hang tight, they would send someone shortly, nothing down, they wanted to take a look. Justin Hartgrove, the general Mngr came by, took a look at the problem, fixed it then fixed my sliding porch screen which has not been working for years. I asked how much did I owe him and he responded -" nothing, hardly any work at all." I demanded to pay him for his time and expertise and he accepted, quite frankly, too little. Should have payed him more. I am a retired businessman from Austin. This company is not into the fast quick buck, they are looking to do business with you for the long run by earning your trust and putting in the hard work, Old School. This was on the 20th and luckily our glass was able to be made and they just installed today (just 7 days later) and I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. The company has kind solid people working in it and I will definitely be going here for any future glass needs, and recommend them to my friends and family.

Of course, you can drop several thousand dollars replacing windows, but it's much more cost-effective to have the glass replaced. I previously used ABILA glass so I called for an estimate. I took his estimate and shopped it to half a dozen companies. Some of the quotes came back at twice what Michael was charging. Others were closer, but please people do some comparaitive shopping before getting ripped off. I'm glad my money went to a small, locally owned business. Michael communicates well and there's never a period where you don't know the status of your window replacements. He shows up on time and ready to work. How refreshing... I rarely recommend businesses or people, but I would suggest you give ABILA glass a chance to earn your business. You, your home and your pocketbook will be glad you did.
