I'm not sure on that, it's just something I thought we caught on to before we left and there started to be RESERVED tents going on the tables. We went and had Scotch Egg, Calamari, Arancini, fish & chips and STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING. Oh. My. Goodness! First the Scotch Egg. I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but it was....ok. It was a little plain. A little tasteless. They could have thrown a few spices into the meat, just a little something. To say that we've made better at home wouldn't be far out. But still good. The calamari was cooked just right. It's what you expect out of a calamari appetizer. Was it the best you'll ever have? Not really. Worth the price? Add it to your appetizer list! The rice balls, which is arancini is, were good. Add a little salt to the top and they were, also, as you'd expect. The fish & chips were exactly as we were hoping when visiting an English Pub for fish & chips. The fish was perfectly cooked, the coating was fabulous, and of course the chips were a perfect compliment to the fish. A great fish & chips experience. The star of the show was the Sticky Toffee Pudding. What a treat! Granted I've nothing to compare it to, this was my first time having it, but whether I've had it before or not THIS was perfection. Perfect texture, the flavour was amazing, the caramel drizzle was perfectly proportioned, and the little bit of ice cream on the side was just perfect. I would go back here simply on this dessert alone. As for the drinks, because, you know, it's a pub....I couldn't say. I don't drink alcohol but my Diet Coke was great! Fresh bottle! ....I suppose I could have gotten a non-alcoholic beer. Wait....did they have non-alcoholic beer there? SOMEONE FIND OUT IF THEY HAVE NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER THERE. The atmosphere was great. I can see how it would be perfect in the evening and on into the night. Very welcoming with a great looking bar.

Food is always superb. Its best to make reservations because it is a busy place every time we have…read morebeen.

The Eggs Royale were perfect! Every bite was gone in under 5 minutes.YUM! Because my eggs were remade, our awesome server, Oliver, took great care of us. Ask for Oliver for a perfectly British experience. I would go back... the little hash browns were toooo easy to eat. I could have eaten a dozen more. Lastly, the ladies room is SENSATIONAL!

It took 25 mins to place our drink order- then about 30 more mins to get our food, after placing that order. Then we had to wait to place a dessert order. Then we had to wait for the check. One word for this comes to mind...'waiting'. We found ourselves waiting every step of the way for our waiter to acknowledge us. Honestly I can forgive A LOT if people are nice but that wasn't the case with our server. Low energy, not very warm and welcoming and slow. Actually to be fair, I got a smile from the busboy when I was on my way to the restroom- perhaps the 2 should switch roles if the restaurant is looking for repeat visits or nice reviews. Btw- the manager...not exactly sure what he was doing. One last thing, I've had sea bass in many restaurants and never had anyone leave the skin on-Just not what I expected. This restaurant gets 2 thumbs down for me. Go to Bills right around the corner - save some money - and get a smile from the staff and a nice greeting.

It's a quaint little Italian spot in the heart of London and it's a wonderful place to spend, especially at night. We ordered the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, the Strozzapreti Boscaiola, and a Bellini and Mimosa to go with our dinner. The food took just a little while to get here but I was sure that it was because they were taking their care with every dish the chefs made. I was right. The pasta was fresh, the sauce and the ingredients tasted very simple and hearty. It all tasted like my hypothetical imaginary nonna made it. The drinks were very good too and complimented the food nicely. Our waiter was absolutely the nicest guy ever. He was very attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything. In my head, I was going to tip him well, and then when we got the check, there was no option to tip. God save the UK. America could learn a thing or two about what it means to not make life all about work. That's beside the point. If you're in London, visit Bon Gusto. I can't wait to come again and happily hand them my money with the biggest smile on my face.

Both pastas were cooked to perfection and the sauces were fabulous. I had the crème brûlée and my wife had the Panna Cotta with Lemoncello both were home made and delicious as was the Lemoncello. Our server Donna was wonderful and we even met the owner Giovanni who stopped by the table to make sure we had a excellent dinner and we told him how disappointed we were to be leaving the next day and unable to return again for dinner. If you have the opportunity to dine here don't pass it up you won't regret it believe me. Back to NYC tomorrow

My family tried seafood tasting menu (£125 pp approx $160) but they also offer vegetarian tasting menu for a slightly lower fare £115 pp Their Cod was probably one of the best we ever had. Oyster 2 ways was served very creative, cold with smoked red pepper and hot, pan fried with pepper masala. Vegetarian tasting menu was a bit of disappointment. They started with banana stem soup which was served warm almost tepid, to me soup should be hot. I had to return it. Rest of vegetarian menu seemed like regular South Indian dishes and taste was just ok. Service was quite sub par considering the expectation of a Michelin star restaurant. Our drinks were not filled on time.. we ordered a bottle of champagne and had to hunt down our server to refill it as he kept it in a bucket far away from us. The staff lacked experience in describing the dish. After the dessert course, one of the servers got something sweet in a plate, just kept it and left. I asked her what it was and she had no idea. Overall it was not the experience we expected compared to other Michelin star Indian restaurants in London. But we would definitely go back to have that black cod from ala carte menu.

It's a city where the cuisine is often separated to highlight specific regions of the country. Quilon is focused on the southern coastal foods of India, bringing a sharp contrast to some of the more common dishes in the Western World. Things to expect: bold chutneys, mango curries, fresh fish and plentiful heat. The wine list is spectacular, with extremely reasonable prices relative to retail. It is a true journey of senses throughout and the team is incredibly attentive to help guests pick out the right dishes. The design of the establishment is very contemporary and to say simply, is beautiful. This may be one of the best and most interesting Indian meals that money can buy.
