Cute bistro style restaurant. Came without reservation and enjoyed the seafood risotto and zucchini fritters. Yummy!

Stopped in on a whim as a party of 3. There was only 1 other table seated, and the 2 gals with me gave me disapproving looks... sure I'd chosen poorly. Within an hour, there was a wait to get in. Booyah! I had a hard time choosing, as so many dishes sounded great. I knew I didn't want pizza &, despite really wanting pasta, I decided I didn't want the carb crash. I was stuffed but couldn't pass up the affogato. The service fee (noted as optional) is already added, but we rounded up as we were leaving cash & ready to roll ourselves to bed. Plus, the service was great.

We were seated right away despite not having a reservation and the restaurant already being booked for the night. We went in the early end as we were seeing a show in the West End. Quaint little Italian open air restaurant. Small but cozy. Service and food was very good and very filling, portions were bigger than expected. Still shocked by how much food Italian food we've found in London.

The food was absolutely delicious! It was like a home cooked traditional Italian meal. The service was absolutely incredible as well. You should absolutely eat at this place if visiting London.

Wow! So lucky that our hotel is on the same block as this gem. The service is outstanding, the food is extremely tasty and fresh. Their menu was loaded with things I would love to try. It's the cutest little place that was packed to the gills, but they style made space for us without a reservation. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had! The lasagna was out of this world. Everything's so fresh tasting, even the bread was excellent. True Italian experience

We came for Saturday breakfast since we were planning to be in Knightsbridge for the afternoon. We ordered their black truffled scrambled eggs on toast, crushed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs, and the ripe honey mango w/Thai basil & kaffir lime and some pastries. The black truffled eggs were good especially with the entire surface covered in black truffles, but to me the toast was a bit dry and the creamy eggs weren't enough to overcome the dryness in the toast. The star of the meal was the honey ripe mango. It was perfectly ripe with the hint of basil and kaffir lime in each bite. The presentation was simply beautiful. The decor and ambience is casual but at the same time elegant. There are elegant details everywhere starting at the entrance door and throughout the restaurant - the table top, the metal stamped H, I, D or E letters imbedded randomly on the edge of the tables, to the hearth where their pastries and bread are baked and showcased, and the opaque glassed kitchen above the main dining area where you see outlines of the staff working. Breakfast at HIDE was a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Will try dinner service next time. HIDE is located across from Green Park, not far from Buckingham Palace, and not too far from Knightsbridge. It's an ideal location when in the area.

Because of this, I'm always looking to try new places for wine. We happened to finish up our shopping on Jermyn street, and Fortnum and Mason were around the corner so we stopped in for something to relax. First, it is inside Fortnum and Mason and it's downstairs. So you must traverse through all the goodies to get to the place. It's not huge, but it is a nice place. They do wines by the bottle, glass or, if you're feeling super experimental, by the flight. I'm a huge fan of wine flights, and we opted for the champagne of the month flight. It was three glasses from their featured bubbly. And they were all good. The service can be a bit slow at times, but it's impeccable. They really go above and beyond when they make a mistake or there is a problem! There was a slight problem with our bill (the price of the flights were £3 too high), and while it took them awhile to get it sorted, they made sure we were completely happy before we left. (A little extra bubbly on the house? Don't mind if I do!) If I'm in the area, I'll be back. It's a bit pricier than other places, but it's nice to have a variety.

We started drooling over the cheese cart, so we ordered the selection of 3 for £12 (2 for £8, 5 for £15) and it came with a wonderful mix of crackers (or biscuits as you Brits call it) and bread. Definitely come here after a day of shopping in the area.

Disappointing would be an understatement. If I could give this place a negative star, I would. First of all, the place was almost empty when we arrived so we thought we would get served pretty quickly. Boy, were we mistaken! It took almost 15 minutes to just get the waitress over to get a menu and take our drinks over. After what seemed like an age, the drinks came out. But, she said she would be right back to take our dinner order. Nope! A couple more people came in and she forgot about us. 30+ later we ask for the manager so we can get our meal ordered. No apology from the manager, just attitude. In the end, the people that came in 15-20 minutes after us got served their appetizers and meals before we did! At the end of our meal, we spoke with the manager again. He didn't give a toss! Gave lots of excuses, served with an I don't give a $#!t attitude. To make matters worse, the food was awful!
