Wonderful time at Flour and Grape! I was staying at a hotel nearby and stopped in for a nice Sunday dinner. There was a line but parties seemed to be able to be sat quickly. I can see why this place is so popular. Very friendly, efficient service and excellent food. I wish I had more time in London as I would've liked to try other entrees on the menu. If you're staying nearby- definitely take the time to dine in here. You won't be disappointed!

Delicious food , fantastic service, & pleasant ambiance (consider and pre or post lounge downstairs). The tortellini roasted pork.....OMG, it's the best pork dish I've ever had. The gem lettuce salad was refreshing and a wonderful balance.

I love it. They only do walk-ins but if you have to wait, they give you discount vouchers downstairs for cocktail while you wait. I feel like I always get a table on Sunday early afternoon but good luck! Pastas are very yummy and great portion with good price. I think they change it up sometimes but I love the pork shoulder tortelloni and tiger prawn linguine. Also love their prawn tartare as i don't see it often in many restaurants! Don't expect extraordinary service but everyone is friendly and helpful.

Flour & Grape had a lovely ambiance and delicious pasta! There were three vegetarian main options. While waiting, we headed to the bar downstairs which also had a good, cozy vibe. The food was a bit pricey, but as expected for an Italian restaurant.

Wow what amazing place to eat at we were a family of 7. The food was so tasty and the staff was very friendly. I had the spaghetti and can say it was the best meal of our trip. I would definitely add this to your trip. The interior was tastefully decorated loved every minute of our visit.

After walking by this restaurant night after night and seeing the happy looking crowds inside, we decided that we had to give it a try. We arrived soon after opening and there was already a crowd inside. We were greeted by the host and asked if we minded a community table, which we didn't. We were seated at the end of a six-top with a chair on the end. He told us that we could use that seat to stash our jackets. Soon after, water was offered, we opted for sparkling. Menus were presented and our server came and introduced himself. Our receipt says his name is Asier. Asier asked if we had any questions and we had pretty much already decided what we wanted. Burrata - 4 - plain, just some olive oil and black pepper but fresh and good. Artichoke Flower - 3 - it was an interesting looking presentation. I forget what the sauce was. Overall, it was okay but not something we would order again. Tortelloni - 3 - six large dumplings served with Basil and Cheese. Spaghetti - 3 - I think we should have ordered something with a red sauce. Sorbetto - 4 - two scoops in a small bowl. The meal was okay overall but nothing special. I don't understand why the restaurant appeared to be so busy. The only thing that we could think of is that they have a full bar, and most people did appear to be imbibing. We were not and that might have been the problem. Shortly after we were seated, another couple was seated next to us. While trying not to eavesdrop, it was difficult to completely ignore their body language and comments they made about their meal. They were not at all happy. It turns out that they were not a couple but a pair of students attending the same university who had decided to go out and have a meal together. I've never been a poor college student, but I can imagine their frustration. The first mistake they made was that they each ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. When it arrived, they each ate one piece of the two pieces that they had been presented and left the rest. When his entree arrived, he picked at it while mumbling. She offered some of her entree to him and he picked at it a bit. We started chatting with them and they confirmed their disappointment. We had had a fantastic Italian dinner the night before and the restaurant was nearby. Their tiramisu was like none that I had ever had before. I suggested that they follow us and we would point it out to them. At the very least, they could cap their evening with a dessert that was worth their time and money. We left them as they walked in the that restaurant. Service was decent but I think either the host or the server should have caught that our neighbors were not happy and try to help them find satisfaction.

The food here is excellent. I love the setup of this restaurant, where the focus is on a few starters plus the pasta of your choice which comes in a heaping portion. All the starters were great, but I especially loved the meatballs in sauce, and the tomatoes. The carbonara was very good but the shrimp linguini was even better. I do wish they had some more inventive pasta options as well but this was still great.

This was another absolute gem! Everything I had, from the burrata starter to the ravioli to the wine pairing to the dessert were simply delicious. It doesn't seem like they take reservations but I showed up just before dinner opening on a Sunday and was seated right away.

Every time I have the £35 tasting menu, which is pure, adventurous, delight. The truly special thing about this restaurant (apart from the homegrown herbs, excellent service, and mellow ambiance) is that the menu changes every few weeks, leaping from one culinary wonder to the next. The tasting menu comprises 5 courses (sometimes with a couple more if the chef is feeling experimental). I have had the pleasure of enjoying: British fusion (including mushroom cerviche, a roasted garlic cream and basil soup, pork cheeks with peanut brittle, and a berry-creme filled choux pastry) Mediterranean (including roasted and pickled beet with a fluffy cloud of goats cheese, tender marinated pork belly, butter-soft scallops with pear, and a lime parfait with basil jelly) Chilean (including the most unbelievable slow-cooked beef lashed with salsa, perfectly bbq'd chicken with crushed corn, and my all-time-favourite dessert burnt marshmallow meringue with wine caramel, jelly and candied walnuts) It's exceptional value for a really filling, delectable, fun meal. If you don't live near East Dulwich, it's worth venturing SE to get some seriously good grub. The staff are friendly, chatty (but not obtrusive), and very knowledgeable. Oh, and the cocktails are excellent.

It's a bit off the beaten path, kinda like in Harlem+Brooklyn if it was in NYC. If in the states it would be highly sought after. I fell in love when i discovered their IG page. I expected it to be in some posh neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't and instead in a neighborhood with just a bit grit and cool vibe. It's small and quaint and the food is so delicious and service was very attentive and friendly. One must get the Comte Fried Potatoes. We didn't at first but we looked to our left, to our right, and table in front and everyone was ordering this dish so we did too and it didn't disappoint. It's served with a saffron aioli that is very savory. I loved this gem of place. I plan to come here every time I am near London.
