The pictures speak for themselves. They sold me a car that had the entire undercarriage covered in rust. They did not disclose it whatsoever in the descriptions of the vehicle or photos. They lied on the ratings of the vehicle condition. I was already feeling like an idiot, then I noticed that they covered the bottom in an oil or paint to try to cover up the rust. Do not buy from them. It's kind of crazy to me the difference between the reviews on other sites versus this one. I think the company might be arguing to have bad reviews removed on the review pages. I bought a 2017 Lexus IS300 F-Sport from them a little but over a year ago. PLEASE REPORT THIS DEALER SHIP TO THE BETTER BUSINEES BURUAE (BBB). I bought the car from nathan on behalf of the recommendation from bryan. Immediately after I bought it I had a feeling something was up. The breaks didn't sound great. I asked them to check it out and they told me it was TIRE NOISE and refused to see me after. I took it to lexus of Naperville where they told me not only are the tires completely wrong for the car, the whole car was a moderate which goes on the title as a crash that's over 25% of the value of the car. I moved to NC, which then when I got it serviced and Hendirck Lexus they let me know that not only was it NOT an F-Sport, it was also a Canadian car which is worthless in US markets. I was forced to cut it there and sell this car for its wholesale value in June of 2025 because these absolute CRIMINALS AT DUPAGE STAR AUTOMOTIVE SCAMMED ME. They add in a "paint protection fee" that is supposedly 1,000 - 1,400 in cost once they print out your final information! If I could give ZERO stars I would. They sold me a car that was completely rusted out on the bottom. It was so rusted through that the entire brake system had to be replaced. Shadi "the owner" called it surface rust, but 3 separate mechanics said it wasn't safe to drive. He initially offered to allow me to trade it in, but when I agreed to a trade he decided, after 4 weeks of me having the vehicle, that the value had decreased by $12,000 and would only trade for the decreased amount. Rushed me to sign the paper work not allowing me to read any of it. Added the wrong date of the purchase and pick up of vehicle this was four days different from the actual date that I was there. Added $ 303.60 Documentary fee AND..... D&H fee $ 695.00 AND.....ERT fee $ 30.00 optional , what part is optional when not asked or implied ? Then to make all this really sweet I didn't make it back home after a 5 hour drive and CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on the passenger window would not stay up and the interior glove box front molding came apart from the dash, and....the middle console door opened when driven over a bump. Buyer beware: This dealership sold me an Acura MDX in December 2019 that needed: New shocks and struts almost immediately (4000K parts plus labor, and that's with a friend doing the work). Possibly a new transmission (but we sold it to another Acura dealership at a huge loss before we wanted to deal with this possible repair). Squeaky breaks after about 2 months of driving. They said it came fully inspected and was up to snuff. NEVER AGAIN will I so stupidly and naively buy a used vehicle without an outside inspection and also get an extended bumper to bumper warranty. They did offer me an extended warranty, so shame on me. If you do go to this dealership, please either be very informed on how to test drive a used vehicle or take someone with you. Also get an outside inspection. The sales process was fine, just be cautious and take your time with the vehicle. Also, an extended warranty is worth the extra cost for the piece of mind that your used car, which inevitably will have issues, is taken care of for at least a while. Today we decided to sell the vehicle at a tremendous loss. It makes me so angry. But lesson learned. read more

Purchased a Saab a month ago. Car arrived with the air conditioning not working. Took it to 3 different mechanics and all of them say the AC system must be completely replaced. The thing is that the dealer knew about this because the electric components had been taken apart and there are missing parts. This dealership is scamming people, then will stop replying o emails when you complain! "DO NOT BUY" anything from these scam artists! I will be filing a small claims against this dealership! Purchased this vehicle 14 days ago when I test drove vehicle felt fine, drove well. 4 days after purchasing the vehicle it started projecting bluish grey smoke out of the exhaust pipes and was consuming a lot of oil. We also started hearing a very slight knocking noise we didn't think to much on. Called the dealership and let them know about the smoke and they then referred us to the BMW dealership. Went to dealership they had a campaign for this particular problem and it would be covered minus a diagnostic fee of $185.00 we would have to pay out of pocket. We then got the car back a week later and the knocking now, was very loud. We were also informed by BMW that our bank 1&2 turbo lines were leaking. So we reached out to the dealer again and told them the BMW dealership said the lines were leaking and we were hearing a loud knocking. The dealership asked us to bring the car back so we did to be told we now would have to pay $800 because both rear shocks were broken. Tried to reason with them they were only willing to take another $100 off the $800. We asked for the full inspection report they couldn't provide us with one we were told they have to look through there files.We told them we would be contacting BBB and attorney general and they asked us to leave there property. read more
