I'm an office supply geek, so even when I'm not looking for something particular, running into Staples and searching through the entire clearance section in any of their stores is always enjoyable. Even though over the years Staples has gotten to become way too expensive for me to regularly shop there (with Office Depot and WB Mason being the most cost effective), I regularly run in to check the clearance section. And sometimes, I'll look for something else I need too.... but that's about it. Here, there was a huge clearance section in the back of the store filled with treasures. Yankee Candles, toilet paper, tissues, storage bins, various electrical cords, and a bunch of office supplies. Decent clearance selection (so if you are coming here for something, at least make sure to stop and check out this area). I also came in here to get a replacement cartridge for my new printer (I haven't had a printer in years and just bought one!). Staff in that section of the store were friendly, helpful and kind. And just an FYI, Staples does have one big benefit. They are the cheapest in ink, even over my more favored Office Depot and WB Mason. I wouldn't even attempt getting my ink elsewhere in the future (but honestly, I hope I don't need to replace it all that much either). Checkout was fast and the clearance candy at the register was another unintentional but delightful surprise (love chocolate!). Friendly staff too! 4 stars. read more

Went to Staples Westborough looking for an item. The associate told me it is probably in aisle 7 or 8. So I browsed around aisle 7 and 8 and could not find it. God forbid the associate should bother to go help me find it among dozens and dozens of other items. The associate was not with another customer, did not appear to be terribly busy. This review is specifically for the UPS drop-off inside of the Staples. Returning an item to Amazon.com was a breeze. Matea scanned the return label on the package in a flash. Then, she gave me a receipt with a smile. The store was clean, bright and well-organized. It was easy and free to park on the shopping center private lot. read more

Best printing service I've ever received from any Staples store, and I've been to quite a few! Scott was very thorough in printing and trimming my invitations. He even ran three test prints while I was there to make sure I liked the color. He printed my job so fast too, I only had to wait one hour, compared to other stores where it was no question I would have to pick them up the next day. I am so glad I have found a reliable printer in the area! Even though it's a longer drive, I will only go to this staples from now on because of Scott. read more

Staples = pricey. Nothing special to write home about. Employees are ok, nice nothing spectacular, and the store is set as expected. It will help in a pinch. But get their frequent purchasing card - every little bit helps. Otherwise shop online for good deals if you need supplies. read more

I had a problem that I couldn't solve with print at home labels that I bought at Staples. I brought them back in to the store and the Copy & Print Shop helped me solve my problem and did it with smiles. Great customer service was provided to me. But also kindness! read more

do you not waste your time going to the s******* store. will be surprised if they're not out of business soon that is why they are always empty. not only do they send you to the wrong counter when you're shipping an item they don't even ship for amazon ups! but yet they have the ups sign up there loud and proud. they also do not recycle items that they tell you on the phone they recycle. He tells me they have nowhere to put it! I know where we can put it. Up your big empty store! You have a whole store and you have nowhere to put it Go down the street 5 minutes to the ups store near burlington coat factory to ship items. They actually ship stuff in a minute. You can grab something from Chick-fil-A while you're there they have the best market salad. Go somewhere else to recycle your items and buy any office supplies unless you want to waste 30 minutes of your life in a store that does nothing. read more

I have shopped here a few times and am also not happy with the service here, though for me it's the lack of customer service, which really seems to be a chain wide problem. Since this is not a regular stop for me, I need to search around a bit to find what I'm looking for. It would be nice to see someone working other then cashiers to ask for some direction. read more

Although they are great for supplies, the services there are poor. I went to them to get an art project printed for my mater's thesis. very important stuff here. they printed it ASAP which was great and but when i picked it up, some of my images were all streaky. when I pointed this out to the girl working there, she said that it was their printer and that it was not that great and they had seen that problem before. Um.. hello? Your store prints "high quality" color prints as part of its services and your printer is crap? Nice. She tried to fix it, but couldn't really. I ended up paying for the ones that came out OK and had to go to another printing company to print out the ones Staples couldn't print properly. read more

I went to Staples in Westboro to try and get some documents printed. It seemed like a simple task but I was greeted by unfriendly , unhelpful staff in Westboro who appeared inconvenience by my request. Major attitude problem. I left and went straight to the Staples in Shrewsbury where I was greeted by two very nice women in the Printing Dept. They were pleasant, polite and that's where I'll go in future. Holy crap. I called regarding a printing of a project of 16 page ppt. requiring 200 copies each. 3200 pages total. I waited on the phone 15 minute s and when someone picked up I inquired about the difference in price between premium paper vs. regular paper. They had no idea and would have to ask somebody else. She put me on hold and I waited for 5 more minutes before the phone went into a continual ringing. Mark final picked up and didn't know so he wanted to send me over to the print dept. I said I was on the phone now for almost 20 minutes. Asked for the manager and spoke with him. He was able to get price differences for me but after over 20 minutes on the phone!!! Really! My advise to anybody would be, Stay far away from Staples. There seems to be no customer service training or even any common sense when working with customers. I would advise Staples management to go to human school. read more
