    Hello I went in about a month ago, because a man I work for thought he needed a new mouse. The man I work for is a retired uvm professor. He opened it and tech support found a problem with the port and it wasn't even the mouse. I get stuck bringing it back because he can't walk. There was an issue when I bought it the cash door wouldn't open automatically so the man used a button underneath the money box to open it .There for I couldn't get a receipt. I tried to explain to the guy working tonight and he pretty much laughed in my face. To humiliate me even more he tells me to put my debit card in the card machine and then canceled the transaction and says the system didn't recognize me and now I need a gift card. I have a screenshot of my transaction, but he didn't car . He made me take a gift card like I stole the mouse or something.

    Dear Staples Customer Service, I am writing to formally…read morelodge a complaint about my recent experience at your Williston, VT location. I went to this Staples intending to return an Amazon package via UPS. There is a large sign on the entrance door that clearly states that the store accepts both UPS and USPS returns for Amazon. However, when I asked about it, I was abruptly told that Amazon returns are not accepted there. The employee who spoke to me -- an older man with a beard, who appeared to be training a new associate -- was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of clarifying the policy in a respectful manner, he impatiently remarked that "if I had paid attention, I would have seen the sign" stating otherwise. The tone and attitude were unprofessional and discourteous, and it was troubling to see that this was the example being set for a new employee. In today's era of internet shopping and package returns, clear communication and respectful customer service are essential. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling alienated as a customer. The misleading signage compounded by the unacceptable attitude of the employee has made me reluctant to return to this location. I strongly encourage Staples to: Ensure that signage is accurate and not misleading about Amazon return services. Reinforce customer service training, especially for employees who are responsible for training others. I hope that this feedback is taken seriously and acted upon, as no customer should be made to feel dismissed or disrespected when simply trying to use advertised services.

    Got yelled at by the manager because apparently they closed while I was shopping. Super…read moreuncomfortable and unprofessional. He claimed I "opened the door" and "if the doors closed we are closed". I was just looking around for supplies I needed and took my time, mind you while they were open. If there was any sort of announcement they were closing soon I would have left sooner. Maybe don't yell at customers for not realizing the store closed while they were shopping. Not coming here again, be more professional.
