I always enjoy my experience at this Staples, all the employees are very helpful and kind and the atmosphere is clean and organized. I get prints here somewhat regularly and have never had problems. The few times there have been some ink splotches on some copies, they have quickly printed replacements. Additionally, I love their ink cartridge and electronics recycling program which can be done at the Easy Tech counter. Not only will they recycle properly for you, but also there is a nice rewards system with bonuses you can set up. The first time I went, the employee at the counter went above and beyond to set me up to get lots of points from recycling. I have also seen you can do Amazon returns here and get points for choosing to do those at Staples, which is pretty cool. I enjoy checking out the in-store deals they have and seeing what's new. I highly recommend this location if you are in need of printing, electronics or cartridge recycling, and any office supplies. read more

I came to print a few copies of invitations on card stock paper and was told I can just use the self print machines or wait 15 minutes for the worker to help me. I used the self print machine and there weren't any options to select what type of paper I wanted and there weren't any sizes smaller than 8 1/2 by 11 so I waited for the worker to assist me only to be told that they only have 8 1/2 by 11 paper only. I only came here because their online website says they do invitation card print outs but I guess the worker did not want to help as he was the only one working the print area and UPS area. Not sure if they were just out of card stock paper or not. He suggested I get a preprinted card by the registers.... I did not like the customer service I received. I had not placed any orders for purchase pick up orders or curbside intended for any other persons. I had priorly curbside picking up online orders using my own personal transporation only as I had not had any other persons in vehicle accompanying me during these order pick ups. This staple store location is huge which has all the supplies you need for your home office needs. In store Staples associates interactions if any would be primarily communicated in via English only or any other servicing around areas , and other near by shoppers in store as well. Terrible customer service from the person identifying herself as the manager of the print center. On May 5, 2025 I called to try to resolve some problems with iPostal1 services. She immediately had a bad attitude and wanted argue over the semantics of our conversation instead of trying to understand and help. When I suggested that she adjust her attitude she said she doesn't have one. Eventually I ended up on hold for a few minutes. I placed an order online because it says same day business cards but when I submitted the order, it said that I wouldn't be available until the end of day the next day so I called and was starting to ask Tristan if they would be available for pick up the next morning and he cut me off immediately and said he's been working very hard all day and it would be impossible for them to be ready today because he has 13 orders ahead of me and just absolutely didn't even let me finish what I was gonna ask. I will not be coming back here to print anything. I got a poster printed and they finished it like 20 minutes before closing, so i had to drive 20 minutes and arrive before it closed, and so i get there and the poster sucked! The colors were super muddy and unsaturated, the blacks were grey and brown, and then the guy said they can reprint it tomorrow... i needed it tonight :/ and then the other guy said nvm we can print it rn it'll only take a few minutes... then why did it take all day for it to get printed lol. So i waited another 20 minutes total to get it reprinted and honestly i still wasn't happy, it was only slightly better but i didn't wanna deal w this any longer lol. Customer service was just ok, but i wouldn't go back here to print lol. Also printing ain't cheap so you would hope you get what u pay for.. read more

Very convenient for mailing packages. They are open later than the UPS store next to Safeway so I use them whenever I need to mail or return an item. Transactions are always seamless. The staff are helpful when I'm confused about whether I should be scanning a bar code, a QR code or something in my email when trying to return a postage paid item. Always been helpful and friendly when I've gone in there unlike the other store that makes me feel like it's a race to get my package in and get me out. read more

I tried to buy a chair that got cancelled on me from an online order i placed yesterday. I called another location and asked if it was in stock. I drive there, the manager refused to honor the purchase price that got cancelled on me. "Because it was last weeks sale" I tried to explain it is not my fault that Staples cancelled my order because they couldnt show the right inventory. I could tell she wasnt going to honor it. She starts leaning over to "tell me how it is". So I feel I have waisted enough time, gas and my potential money. I drop the other items I was going to buy and say "fk this" and walk out. She tells me not to come back (lmao you dont have to tell me that, this is my first and last visit). Then she threatens to call the police if I do. Then proceeds to take pictures of me and my car. I could understand doing that if I created a scene and was throwing things or breaking stuff, (i did not do that at all). All I did was drop the items i was holding and walked out and stopped listening to her. Well, this is exactly why retail is dying in the U.S. AND PLACES LIKE RITE AID AND BED BATH AND BEYOND ARE GOING BANKRUPT AND CLOSING. Pay someone $30 hr as an incompetent "manager ". When i refuse to buy the items and walk out she takes pictures of me and my car and threatens to call the police. I sat outside the store in my car in the parking lot for the next 30 minutes on the phone complaining to staples corporate about how bad this customer experience is. Never buying from staples again. Waiting for the corporate complaint form as well. So much easier to deal with Amazon, its ridiculous. I hope Staples goes out of business. What a joke. read more

Will post picture of current hours. Closes 8pm Mon-Fri, 7pm Sat, and 6pm Sun. I just shopped here for a couple items to take to work. No problems. Hardly any customers in the store. I think most of their business right now is online orders that you can pick up from the store. There were numerous bags waiting for pick up. But the in-store shopping here is open and the staff member I interacted with was very helpful. Hope this location can stay open. read more

Came in looking for a quality paper shredder, I was greeted by the store manager who went out of his way to help me choose one that I needed. He pulled 2 of the models that I was interested in off the floor and ran paper through them so I could see the options as well as noise level and how fast they actually shred. I ended up purchasing a 20 sheet industrial model "that I have put through it's paces" My only complaint is the warranty is only for 15 days or for $100 or so I can get a 3 year warranty. However, I had been looking to buy an office chair for the longest time and every other place was charging so much for a chair. Crisis Averted- showed up to pick up a large color print job to find that the image printed incorrectly and was cut off and shifted. So why a 5-star review? Because of how it was handled! Manager "Keke" was on a conference call but put that on hold and looked at the paper and said they would remake it but I would have to come back since print isn't open for two more hours. I explained I wasn't close by and needed it for a meeting. She actually took the time to take care of it right then and there. I wasn't expecting that she would be able to take the immediate time to fix it but I am super grateful! It wasn't easy either, I saw her switching toners, fixing the machine, helping customers, taking calls, all while trying to get my print job done. Poor customer service and so called corporate policy. Had a disagreement with the manager on duty. Went to purchase gift cards and waited 45 minutes for it to open, never had they said or have any sign posted that you need that physical card to purchase it even if you are using Apple Pay. I was able to show my drivers license and even offered that I can log into my banking account to show I am the card owner. I was denied the purchase since I don't have the physical card with me. If I did, would they have denied my the use of Apple Pay? How does that make logical sense if the goal is to prove I am the owner of the card which I can prove? They need to train the employees better. read more

Buggy copy/printer and rude personnel/manager. My printer broke and I had a document to print and send immediately. I went to Staple to print from self service copy center. The copy/printer asks for credit card insertion then asks for print service information. The printer failed to print and hung up on estimating cost. It failed twice. The store clerk reset the machine. The printer still failed. I asked the store clerk for a help, the clerk asked a manager. No response. I asked manager if I can use another printer, she says the printer is slow and I should wait. I explained it failed estimating, and I had to reconfirm print job. She still insisted I need to wait for the machine. I told the manager the machine failed after waiting twice and this is third try. She still insisted I need to wait for the printer to print. I explained again the machine failed twice, and the clerk has reset the machine and it is still failing. She finally understood the printer is not working. The manager said I have to wait with a very bothered tone. She and the clerk were not friendly from the moment I mentioned the printer problem. The manager served other customer in foreign language. The manager never even looked at the printer or see if I can print from two other self service copy/printer. I walked out after wasting good 20 minutes there. Do I sound upset? I drove to another office store 10minutes away and printed from self service copy/printer within 5 seconds. The cost was cheaper by almost half too. Staple, maintain your machines. It probably is a personnel problem more than a machine problem. People maintain machine, people serve customers. Bad management! read more

Walked into Staples for the sole purpose of getting my COVID vaccine card laminated and was so happy with the amount of time spent in the store and the service provided. Gentleman at the copy center not only laminated my card, but shrunk it down to 80% which made it a perfect fit for my wallet. As a self-proclaimed pen connoisseur, a visit to any office supply store can take longer than expected, but the overall tidiness and organization of the stationary aisle made it easy for me to find what I know and love, but also help me try a new product [pentel 0.5 energel x retractable pen is a MUST TRY] that I love more than my usual! read more

I went to this location on Sunday March 12th right at their opening time which on Sunday's is 9 am, although this location isnt one to brag about -it is the closest one to my home. This location has been a key part in helping my company send out any correspondents needed in a timely manner thanks to the self service printers in the copy and print section of the store. Though there seems to be a lack of leadership within the ENTIRE store itself, as well as a lack of employees, as it seems to be running on a skeleton crew 90% of the times I've been there, but despite that I've always been able to count on the store to be open when it says it will be and really that's all I've needed for me to be content as that's all I need to help me run my business when need be..... at least I was until this Sunday. I arrived to the Newhall location at 9 am as I always have on any previous sundays, the doors always open as I expect them too since that's the hours of operations, this Sunday was not one of normal operations. 9 am and the store was closed, dark and locked, I had a specific window of time that morning I needed to send out my correspondence in and so I waited around in the parking lot expecting it to open in 5-10 mins, were all human so I can understand someone running a few minutes behind.... After 30 mins I was fuming !! I started to make phone calls out to my clients explaining why they where not going to receive the documents at the time I stated they would. Not only did it seem unprofessional but I couldn't help but think how lazy i personally was coming off to them. I ended up leaving after 40 minutes but I called an employee of mine to wait at the staples, so when the doors did open he could send out the documents asap, while I tried to keep the rest of my day on schedule, doing my best to not have the unprofessionalism that came of STAPLES that morning to reflect onto my business the rest of my day. 2 hours later my employee called me to inform me that the documents had been sent out - TWO HOURS LATER the store was opened -two hours late, what was even more shocking though was learning that the store was opened late due to the tardiness of their very own manager - but then again not so surprising from what I've witnessed with this guy, the rare times he is there he seems uninterested in the store or customers at all, I'm sure he would ask "what are employees " if employees where mentioned. The stores never been great, never had great management, but just when. You thought it couldn't possibly get any worse they have this little old guy take over and start not only ruining staples very own business -but he some how is managing to ruin mine and others that he has nothing to do with !! Location. Location. Location! Love! My go to Staples! In n Out is here. Starbucks. Mod Pizza. Which Wich. Lowes. Chevron. Office supply runs are my favorite. So many things to choose from. Sometimes I find new things that just makes me happy. I'm a pen whore. Staples is my enabler. Their sale section is my guilty section. It may look like a mess but oh dear god I find so much things to pick up there that it's instant flow of serotonin and dopamine! Since we're doing a whole wall of pictures at home I found $3 8x5 frames yesterday! Not matted but it will do the trick. An iPad/iPhone cradle coated with silicone for $4!! It was priced at $35 originally. I can go on and on but you get the excitement! It's not crowded and so there is always staff to help you. I find that I'd rather wander alone aimlessly by myself than bother anyone-it's more adventurous. Lol! Now that Staples bought Office Depot does that mean there's more products added in the future? Would have more stars but took some off due to the rude ass manager. Viola was checking us out at the front register and she didn't have change to break a $100 bill. She asked the manager for change and the manager came and gave her some change and then she walked away without saying what she was doing. Viola was counting out what the manager had just given to her. It was a lot of 5s which is whatever because money is money. Doesn't necessarily have to be 20s. Anyway, the small mini alarm went off because Viola was counting out the 5s and making sure it was the exact change. Then from afar the manager yells at her to close the drawer. She runs back up and immediately yells at poor Viola. Very passive aggressive in front of us customers! She was talking down to her saying that's why she said to close the door hello because she was getting change. She never said she was going to get change. Sorry lady we aren't mind readers and I'm pretty sure Viola is not one either. I'm sorry Viola you didn't deserve to be treated and spoken to that way. I know a bunch of businesses in town that would hire you in a heartbeat. Our small interaction with you was pleasant and you were kind and knew what you were doing. Should've read the reviews before going in. These employees and manager unfortunately gaslit me and ran me around, quoting multiple different prices for print work. Their website, someone on the phone when I called, and two employees all quoted me different prices for the exact same thing ranging from $20-$200. I've purchased a similar item before and it costed $15-30 so I expected to pay 20-50$. The lowest in store quote they gave was 75$. They even were changing the price per page mid convo from .17 (what their website says) to .19 out of nowhere. Rip off!! I do no recommend them for copies and/or printing services. read more

Normally, I'm a pretty big fan of Staples. They have a lot to offer, including pretty awesome suitcases. (or at least they used to) This location was pretty weird though. No customers and an employing was filling boxes with stuff right while I'm waiting. Eyes contact was made, and he continued to do what he was doing without saying anything.
