Came to the Staples in Milpitas CA to drop off my 4 UPS shipments, labels were already made, needed 3 envelopes already had one, put the documents in their own envelop, the guy behind the counter scanned them at 2:18pm, next pick up was 5pm (said so on the wall). I asked 3 times that my shipments will go at 5pm because they are Overnight. Walked away thinking what could go wrong? They were picked up the next day at 4:20pm!. My envelopes were for Overnight, I paid for Overnight, and so they were going to be delivered the next day, which by now they are 2 days Overnight. Called and spoke to the manager, he couldn't tell me why they weren't picked up. UPS didn't take responsibility nor would this Manager. So, here is my solution for this problem. I will go to the UPS Center in Sunnyvale (UPS Customer Center, 1245 Hammerwood Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 (800) 742-5877) from now on. No, the customer service will not be better nor will they care more, but at least I have narrowed down who is responsible and I can then sue them for my money back!!! I recommend that no one use this place for shipments that require that they be delivered at a specific time because there are no guarantees. read more

Came here right after dropping my daughter off today because I need a USB FLASH DRIVE... Not just any flash drive a San Disk 4gb Cruzer stick..Now...why this particular one...(drum roll and please get ready to laugh) there's a little key ring on it so I can put it on my keychain...yeah yeah I know the nerdy girl in me who needs a USB Flash drive wherever she goes!!! Anyways, so it was nice enough this guy approached me, asking if I needed help, when I said I was looking for that particular hard drive, he was like, "Well we have the PNY ones on sale, its the same thing." I thought to myself. "YOU FUCKER...it's not the same, there's no keyring, when a girl wants a keyring, a girl wants a fucken keyring..." I smiled and said, "Thanks" then I left the store... It's my first time stepping into a Staples store. Great deals. Although I do admit, some items are pretty ridiculously overpriced, I find that there were some deals worth the trip... Clean. Organized. Alot of things were out of stock but they can be ordered and shipped to home free at the same price. Not a bad deal. read more

There is no "confusion": my order was supposed to arrive on MONDAY, but I didn't get it until TUESDAY. Their no-delivery-on-weekends excuse does not apply.] I needed A4 printing paper urgently but couldn't find it in the store, so I ordered it online and had it ship to the store. The first thing I want to complain is their online system. I ordered it on a Friday, and the website said it would arrive on Sunday before I submitted the order, but then it says Monday after the order was submitted.. I was even unhappier when I hadn't hear anything from the store by Monday afternoon. I called the store but a guy said they had not been notified about the order yet, and all staff were busy and not able to help me. I then called the customer support line. The lady on the line told me she did see the item was out for delivery but just not sure why it was not in the store yet, and they will investigate and got back to me the next day ... I ended up asking a friend to bring some A4 paper from his company office, which I should have done much earlier instead of relying on Staples' delivery. The order finally arrived on Tuesday and I just tossed it to the corner. I still have no clue why it was delayed. Staples never sent me an explanation, not to mention any apology. In the very least, they should have notified me in some way about the delay on or before the due day. I will probably just use Amazon next time. read more

Huge staples and they carry a lot of office supplies! Anything you can think of! Obviously paper, stationary, laptops, desks, and etc. You get the drift. I usually go to kinko's to get my printing done, but I've recently discover their printing department here. I got a couple images printed in color here and they were about 10-20 cents cheaper than kinkos. They do a decent job but the quality wasn't as nice as I hoped. Though the guy who helped me was extremely nice. He was meticulous and even resized my images so I could print more one page. I will probably come back if I ever needed any documents, invitations, and simple things printed! read more

Staples gets 4 stars from me based on the experience I had when I chose them to fix my laptop. My hard drive crashed, and, after polling some friends for their opinions, I ended up choosing to take my computer to Staples based on its convenient PB location. The price for a middle-sized new hard drive plus the service to install it was somewhere between $110 and $140; I don't remember the exact bill amount. I was OK with this price, and the service I received was fast and personable. The whole experience was completely stress-free for me, which was the most important thing. The best part is that my computer was handed back to me less than 48 hours later in ready-to-go form--installed with MS Office, antivirus software, and loads of applications. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this Staples location should I need computer help in the future. read more

I always wonder why I have to wait so long here. There's only one person on the register and one person in the copy center. But there are employees walking around the aisles asking me if they can help me find something every 5 minutes! I come here on my way home to use the copy center for my office or for the PTA. But it always takes so long! So I wander the aisles....and inevitably find something to buy that I didn't really need. And yes, someone asks me if they can help me every five minutes. Yes! You can help speed up my copy order! But I DO want this place to thrive since it is one of the anchors for the Milpitas Town Center. So I'll continue to buy things I don't really need...that's the story of my life. read more

Typical Staples store, though it larger and cleaner than most. My gripe is with the management. I used a VISA gift card, which you would think is simple, but they ended up keeping it when the balance was used up. I was never really told why they do this other than that's how it's done. At first, the manager insisted they keep it, but I after some persistence, I was given it back anyway. I just lost out on a bunch of time rather pointlessly. The manager couldn't leave it at that, telling me that the next time I used a card there, I'd have to leave it with them. I will say that the rest of the staff seemed very nice, so as long as you don't do anything crazy (like using a gift card OMG!), you should be fine. read more

I love that I can drop off/send ups and usps packages here. I had to get something spiral bound and the entire process from placing the order to picking up was a breeze. You can upload your documents and pay online. I was able to pick up my project the very next day which was great. The employees here are super friendly and knowledgable and really go out of their way to help you. I've never encountered anyone rude! I have seen that they've had some really negative reviews in the past and they've really improved on service. read more

Best price for printing out "cards against humanity!" We put the 28 PDFs of the game on to a thumb drive. The print on normal card stock was only $6! We decided to print our own Cards Against Humanity set, but we wanted it on nice paper. Per a recommendation, we went to staples and it was awesome! The card stock is only $0.20 per page, which brought our grand total to $6.09! Also, they have a great cutting station so we could cut our cards "professionally". As for the store itself, it is pretty large and very clean. I really like how well organized the products are and this store is no exception! This is for the print and copy service only. I went there today to get two signs printed. The guy that helped me was very nice and friendly. He helped me find the correct type of material I needed, and downloaded my artwork. When I went back to pick them up, about four hours later, another gentlemen helped me and he was also super nice. He took his time finishing up my signs and they came out perfect. I was very happy with the service I received there. I highly recommend the print and copy center at this store. Review is for online shopping that ended up at this store. I was an idiot and added the "suggested" spare parts to my online shopping cart without actually checking that they went with the item I was purchasing. Oops. So I don't really want to pay shipping to sent these back, maybe the store will take them for me? It's not too far from a lunch spot I like so I gave it the old try, half expecting to fail. I brought my online receipt, but not the credit card I used (my internet-only, leave-it-at-home, tiny credit limit card) and also not the original shipping ticket. Besides that, they don't carry this item, or the one I really need, at this store. So after a brief conversation with customer support I was so sure I was out of luck. But no! Staples customer support totally came through for me. They found the info they needed on their computer using the info I'd brought in, and instead of a chargeback they gave me my balance on a Staples card, which I can use to order the correct part online. Since Staples is closest to my work, I shop there the most but the other stores are good too. It depends on who's got the best sale for the week. Staples sells office supplies, furniture and other stuff. They have a little better pricing then Office Depot on a great selection. Great idea in office supply. Oh I love this store..they have all what I need and I always find good bargain. I get coupons every now and then for being a rewards member like right now another one $20 for $60 online order...yay sometimes its $30 for $60 online order..so pretty good deals. I know their customer service is not always that good but they try very hard to help all customers and they are quite polite. Tonight was extra special, I was assisted by Webb at the register, it was almost closing time but he was still quite focused and engaging. He was smiling, made an eye contact and enthusiastic at all times. He knew that I was not getting a store paper bag so he arranged my 14 items in a way that was easy for me to carry them. What brought me here was a coupon I got for free UPS shipping. As an eBay seller, I quickly took advantage of that offer. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by Chelsea. She kindly acknowledged the huge box I was holding and asked me if I was gonna ship it out. She was very friendly. Use UPS through a hub at your own risk. If they decide not to deliver your package there is not a thing you can do about it. They will not give you a refund and they tell you to deal with staples it's not their problem. So unless you want your package to fall off their truck so to speak I wouldn't use them again. On top of that Staples tells you to deal with your BS because it isn't their problem either. So when they give you the run-around they can each point their fingers at each other and say oops I don't know guess you better talk to the other guy until you finally give up and realize you're not going to get your package or your refund for shipping the Lost package. On my way back from acupuncture yesterday, I made a rather circuitous route to find a few supplies I needed at home. I did find a wire stackable set of shelves I intended for use with a new printer I didn't want just sitting one the floor. Rather pricey at about $10 for each shelf, but it seemed to be the most appropriate solution to my space problem. I received good service at the checkout stand. YOU CAN BUY IT, BUT YOU CANNOT RETURN ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I bought a High Speed Bill Counter (HSBC) on 12/22/2019 as a Christmas gift for my wife. After open and use it only once, she didn't like it, and she asked me to return it. But because I'm so busy, until now, 01/12/2020 I bring the machine back to Staples to return it. When I brought the HSBC to the Staples, I didn't see any Customer service or return table, so I came to the checkout table to return it. When I let the Cashier know that I want to return the HSBC, he call his manager come, and bring my HSBC to their private room to check, not in front of customer. After awhile, they came out to see me and gave me many reasons why they cannot accept my HSBC. First, the Cashier told me that because it is the electronics, so I need to return within 14 DAYS.(that policy I didn't know when I bought it, or see it printed on the recipe. ) Second, the manager told me that the HSBC is smell burning, and on top of the HSBC has a little bit dirty. When I told them that when I bought it, it like that, and I just use it one time only, then she told me that when the electronic is open and been used, it cannot be return to Staples.(that policy I didn't know when I bought it, or see it printed on the recipe either.) Lastly, the manager get the paper in my HSBC which has the company customer support number and told me to call the company to return it. So since I cannot return the things to Staples, I will not return to Staple again. read more

Sent in job, 4 hours later came to pick up and found out from the manager that their printers can't print PDF file which created from illustrator . Then went home , made jpg version and sent in again. Next day picked up, there are strange big line cross the banner. Asked the rep, she said she doesn't know why and charged me with full price. I had to run into Staples after dinner one night for some labels. There was not a huge quantity on the shelf. I was looking for neon labels and they didn't have them in the size I wanted. I got in line and there was only 1 line open. There were about 5 of us in line. The next cash register over there were 2 employees talking. Granted it was at 8pm, but come on.
