Found out the hard way the reason they are cheaper to replace the broken glass on phones is because they use cheap glass that broke again in 2 days. $380 down the drain, TWICE!! The 2nd replacement glass broke in 4 days even with me being EXTREMELY careful with it. I can't afford to do it again for a 3rd time! I had to pay to get the glass replaced again TWICE so it would have been far less expensive to get the apple quality glass the first time & I would have had I known that. I didn't find that out until the 2nd time I had it replaced (they don't guarantee/warranty this!) & that broke in 4 days! I'm not hard on my phone at all so it's ridiculous that this is their scam! They also said my phone antenna was bad & replaced that. Now since they "fixed" that, it barely works unless I'm hooked up to wifi. It gets stuck & wont advance to the next screen. Since I'm on the road a lot this is VERY difficult to deal with! AND the battery now doesn't hold a charge for longer than 2 hours! This wasn't an issue until they fixed the glass! This is an IPhone 14 Pro Max so it's not old or beat up. BEWARE THEIR SCAMS!!

It was at the point it would have cost me over 800 bucks to fix it. I called around, some places never called be back or they wanted a ridiculous amount of money to look at. As I was doing research on repair places I came across Computer Serenity. Robert called be back.I explained the problem. He said he would come out and look at. I was so impressed that he would come to me. I wouldn't have to lug the big heavy computer out some where. He looked at while he here. He explained to me what was wrong in easy to under stand language. He told me how much it would cost it. I was extremely happy with his price. Now keep in mind I was just going to through out the computer. Robert was able to repair it. He brought it back to me. That was so awesome. He was easy to talk to. He got back to me in a timely manner. It's very rear when someone impresses me . I have to say Robert did. I would say if you have any computer problems or phone problem. or networking issue. He…read moremounted my tv with the mount I had purchased from Amazon but then showed me how he could make the tv look so much better by concealing the cords but this would involve installing a new power outlet. SCORE! I needed to have this done all along and never actually did it. I was planning to have the tv mounted, buy a long cord to plug it in and then once I had the chance, I'd get that outlet installed to make life easier. I didn't realize this at time but when I purchased his services on Amazon, I didn't just hire any old person to come and mount my television. I hired a licensed electrician! He installed my power outlet, mounted my television, concealed both the power and cable wires and even marked my electrical box in the basement! He did a hell of a lot more than those Geeks at Best Buy! (That's a fact, btw, I'm speaking from experience). There was an additional charge for installing the power outlet but it was a very reasonable price. He was very patient, didn't rush through his work and made sure we were happy .     I have very mixed feelings about this location. The first…read moretime I came here (back in September), I was told that if I dropped my phone off before 3pm it would be fixed the same day. I arrived a little after that, and my phone was repaired and ready the next day with no issues -- so my first experience was positive. Four months later, my screen started malfunctioning with no physical damage, which should have been covered under warranty. I scheduled an appointment online for Monday, drove 30 minutes, and when I arrived the store was closed, even though both the website and phone system still said they were open. There was no notice or update. I called the next day before driving there again and was met with attitude about them not notifying anyone they had been closed. When I arrived later that afternoon around 4:15pm to drop off my phone, the entrance still wasn't shoveled. I had to climb through snow just to get inside. The next day, I was charged $99 by my insurance because the claim was automatically changed from "warranty" to "accidental damage," even though the repair was not accidental. (This was done by the insurance company, not the store.) When I went to pick up my phone, I was told my SIM card tray was missing -- which was not true, as it was in the phone when I handed it over. It was inside an OtterBox-style case that snaps together, so it couldn't have just fallen out. The employee I originally gave the phone to claimed it was never there, while the employee helping me at pickup (who was much kinder) offered to order a replacement. I ended up ordering one myself because either way I would have had to wait two days -- but if the store ordered it, I would have had to drive 30 minutes back to pick it up. It made more sense to just pay the $6 and have it delivered to my house. That said, I want to give huge credit to the second employee who helped me with the insurance issue. He spent nearly an hour on the phone fighting with the insurance company, dealing with dropped calls and transfers, all while still helping other customers, just to make sure I wasn't wrongly charged. He didn't have to do that, and I truly appreciate him for going above and beyond. Because of him, my experience went from incredibly frustrating to being handled with genuine care and effort. I just wish the overall process, scheduling, and communication, was more consistent and professional.

    This company told me that they would take approximately a half an hour to come to my house and fix…read morea problem I had with my wireless internet. A technician came to my house 3 and a half hours early and proceeded to sit on a laptop in my living room for an hour and a half doing what I was told was a "signal check" for the now working wireless internet. After the hour and a half the technician left, leaving me with a bill for $106.00+ and neither my wireless nor my regular hardwired internet working. I was simply told "You have an old modem that you need to fix. We can give you one for $80, but I don't have one right now." I thanked him for coming out, assuming I would not be charged for such poor service. "I need money" were the next words out of the technician's mouth. When contacted for a refund the customer service representative was abrasive and arrogant, claiming that their workers were competent and that no refund could be granted. I created an account on citysearch just to review this company, something I have never done before. Please, contact any other computer servicing company to fix your problem. Using On The Fly Computer Guy was one of the most demeaning experiences I have ever had. UPDATE: After getting frustrated with the customer service representative (I believe his name was Ron), I checked on the problem myself. Twenty minutes later I had wireless internet. I am now typing this from my laptop using the same wireless internet this company told me was impossible because of my "old modem." With so many other options out there, why risk spending huge sums of money on incompetent technicians? They simply tried to scam me into buying one of their overpriced modems that was completely unnecessary. They'll take your check and laugh to the bank... Pros: Makes you feel confident that they will fix your problem. Cons: Doesn't fix anything but charges you astronomical fees.
