Went in to go get fingerprints done for a school requirement. The lady behind the counter immediately met me with attitude as I was unaware that I needed two forms ID, the one with the crazy eyeliner and horrible attitude. I've gone to this location many of times to do business it never had an interaction like this. Something must've woke up on the wrong side of the bed and decided to take it out on me. When I called to complain, she answered the phone and said that she was the manager and said that she had cameras so good luck with filing a complaint. Her cameras caught me calling her rude, So I don't know why I was threatened. If the real managers want to reach out to me, that would be awesome. read more

I needed to return some shoes to adidas. Their return service gives you a prepaid square bar code allowing you to drop your package at FedEx stores and the mail room showed up as an option on the adidas website. The woman at the counter was helping a couple in front of me but took a moment to ask if I was just dropping off a package. She asked to see my FedEx return barcode. She explained that because this is a fedEx "authorized" drop spot, they can only accept prepaid packages with the long rectangular bar code. You must go directly to a full fedEx store to drop off an item with the square bar code. She directed me to one near the Panera by the Buckland hills mall. A bit disappointed that they weren't able to help me but it that seems to be a problem with the adidas website and not the mail room. I also appreciated that she didn't make me wait long to help me. Although not needed for my needs that day, it was clear they offered many services and products ranging from shipping materials to greeting cards. The photos show more detail. I came here solely for convenience and paid that price. I was sending a package that normally would be charged $17 for at any other postal office. They charged me $26. The package I was sending required a customs form. I gave sent multiple packages to this address abs each time in many different post offices have attached a customs form, the woman working stated that they did not have any customs forms and they always fill them out on a regular piece of paper and have the customer sign it. Not official in the slightest. The woman working promised me that it would not get sent back to me and would make it there. I then paid $26 for a package that is typically only $17 to send. A week later the package is sent back to my house, to no surprise. I went to lather and better know. postal service in town and sent the package for $17 and the man there explained that what they did would have never gotten there. I successfully sent the package through this other postal service location as they did things correctly. I then called the Mail Room asking if they can somehow make things right, maybe a refund of the $26 or anything considering they promised it would not get sent back and it did and that I had to go elsewhere to sent it. She informed me that there is no way I can get a refund once it leaves their office and that it was not their mistake and I should have gone back there to fix it and that they have never had this happen before. All around a poor experience from the actual service there to their handling of problems. Don't bother going here even if it is for convenience, save your time and money. read more

I finally got on the schedule to present them to a "partner" physically, and I ended up at The Mail Room. It was a very cozy, intimate space for mailing and picking up and probably other things. Some local flyers advertised a Thanksgiving food drive, a buy-back of school supplies like books and clickers. A philodendron wrapping half the room--clearly quite healthy! Good vibes and nice employees. I was helped fairly quickly and on time with my appointment slot. We chatted a bit, and then I left to run more errands. I will probably stick with a closer USPS store, but if you feel like driving a little farther to come here, you'd be valid. read more

I went there for the first time because I needed the binding cut off a coloring book. The owner greeted me warmly and it was like being with an old friend. She manually cut the binding off, all the while chatting with me and the other patrons. I showed her some of my coloring work on Facebook through my phone and she admired it. I can't wait to come back to use any of the many services she provides. I left there smiling, pleased with getting the job done while making a new friend. read more

I decided to use this mail service for it's convenience, not realizing I would have to pay a big price. I brought 5 "Media" Parcels to mail to various addresses around the country, which should be priced cheaper than first class mail at the media rate. After asking why it was so expensive a few times and getting no good answer, I paid the bill, but went to my car and searched usps prices to find it was half the price they had charged me. When I went back in to check if there had been an error, I was told by a belligerent manager that there was, obviously a sur-charge which doubled the price that I would have paid at the Post Office - she never told me that before I paid the bill. Sorry, but double is a little too much to pay for convenience. I will go to the Post Office from now on. Let the buyer beware! read more

I went in yesterday for a specific service they provide, and unfortunately there is not another option close by. The service I needed requires prepayment and 2 forms of ID. I will admit that I did not see on the form that the name had to match exactly on both forms of ID - I had my driver's license with my married name and my birth certificate which obviously had my maiden name. So, I admit I was in the wrong there. I never raised my voice or was rude to the employee. I was understandubly frustrated and am needing this service done on a deadline. However, the person who "helped" me was so rude. I didn't have another form of identification on me at that point and apparently this annoyed the crap out of her. I went to my vehicle to see if I had anything that would work, and to email the person who sent me for this service, to see if we could figure it out. I went back in and apparently this person decided she no longer wanted to help me and hid in the back room for about 20 minutes. I was steamed at that point and just got back in my car and left. I rescheduled the service I needed but you can be assured that I am not going back there to have it done. I will gladly drive the 40 miles to a different location in another state and give them my business. If this young woman doesn't like helping customers, then she should not be in a customer service position. I hope that the owner or manager looks into the way their customers are treated, and know they lost a customer who would have been glad to give them future business. I also find it extremely difficult to believe that every single one of the reviews on Google is 5 stars, and only one negative review here. Not sure if they are able to remove the negative reviews? I know everyone has an off day on occasion, but being co-owner of a small, local business in the same town, I find this unacceptable and this treatment wouldn't be tolerated by our staff for a second. read more

The Mail Room offers a wide array of mailing and copying services, in addition to key cutting and fingerprinting. I'm not sure why those all work together so well, but it makes sense when you go in. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, greeting regulars and directing them where to go for service. We were there for them to fingerprint my companion to fulfill her work requirement (financial people have to be fingerprinted, who knew!). It took longer than we expected to accomplish but they made sure the process was done correctly so that she wouldn't have to go back. All in all, great local store! read more

Was in to ship package it cost $92.70 ups or Fedex and 62.00 for USPS I ASKED IF IT COST THE SAME IF I WENT TO THE POSTOFFICE was told it would be $15.00 CHEAPER AT POST OFFICE . The young girl was very rude had attitude she also received a phone call in middle of taking care of me very disrespectful . I had returned a few days later to make copies at 9am they were NOT OPEN yet I waited 15 minutes along with 2 other customers still no one showed .we all went to UPS STORE COULD NOT WAIT ANY LONGER .Had to ship another box a week later Did my research online was able to ship package on my own via UPS AT UPS.COM FOR 1/2 OF WHAT THE MAIL ROOM CHARGES AND THE UPS STORE just put in weight and dimension print label on my home ink jet printer on 8.5x11 paper bring to drop off at UPS store .will not go back to Mailroom read more
