I didn't go there looking for a printer, but Oscar walked up to me and convinced me that he had a printer to fit my needs. I ended up with a HP all-in-one thanks to the superior service I received. So far so good! WELL.... I had a couple of issues with the printer and was unable to get through to HP's customer service so I ended up returning the printer. Today we were helped by Fatima and Dominique at this store. They were both pro-active, went the extra mile and are an asset to your company. Please give raises or promote them for making this customer extremely happy. They printed and laminated 2- pictures for my sister who will be living with us from Hawaii. The picture was a family portrait of her and her children which we will hang above her bed before she arrives tomorrow. Your employees made us feel like family. They even cut and did the framing for me because I had a stroke and can't use my right hand. Lisa the store manager even told us which aisle to find the frame! So I came here today to print out some PDF files I need for work. There was only 1 worker there and the person was rude and was not doing anything. I told her I needed to print some documents and then she said go over to this machine and put your credit card. She said it was only 9 cents per copy. I was all like ok - but it ended up charging me $3 and my documents did not even print. The store is nice, but staff are clueless on how to operate equipment and do not disclose the correct rate on prints. Never coming back here again. This is becoming like best buy where you feel left out even though your the customer. read more

During a Power Outage, they said "We are only accepting Cash at the Moment ". I drove off to the nearest bank to get cash and when I came back they couldn't even tell me personally that they were not taking Cash either! They just pointed to sign that said "Power Outage". This is insane. Quite frankly they seemed like they did not want to deal with it and catch a break at work. Unacceptable. read more

I had to wait 10 mins even to drop off my package & I needed more assistance about my large print job. So While the other employees gossip with each other, there's a HUGE line of ppl. Ok this place used to be my go to print center. It's close by my house and parking is great, but everytime i have to print now, they are always backed up on orders. It wasn't like this last year. I used to be able to go in, let them print my stuff, and be done in less than 15 min. I don't know who this new guy is but he's always telling me they are backed up on orders and that I'd have to wait 3 hours to get my 3 page paper printed. Don't go here to get your papers printed. This is a convenient location, but I had a blonde moment and entered the back entrance, which was a pain. They have a descent selection of all the office supplies you may need and two computers to do some last minute work and printing jobs before a meeting-- which is why I went there. Ample parking up front, but I wouldn't say the employees were exceptionally helpful or friendly, since I didn't see or hear from anyone while I was there. read more

This store still smells like freshly put carpet because it's brand new! Layout of store is similar to all other Staples store. What I love about today's visit was that there is actually people around asking if anyone was looking for particular (which we did) and made our visit much more faster. The store is pretty clean, but some aisles are a bit cramped with all the school supplies section. Overall, this place isn't run down like Walmart for things like school supplies and much less people shopping here for now. read more

I didn't start coming to this staples location until the staples by Costco closed. And I'm relieved that customer service does not fall flat! I mainly go to the Print Service section and each member of the staff are knowledgeable, patient, attentiveness , and extremely helpful. Curtis , Andrew and many others are awesome to work with. Most recently, thank you Andrew for helping me with poster board collage! Having the 34x26 poster board done within a day was more than we could've asked for. Never crowded, always clean and the service is nice and friendly. Don't really come here too often nor do I usually compare prices when it comes to office supplies but I can't really complain and the employees ask if I need help pretty often so, pretty good. read more

I came into the shop because I accidentally ordered 3 hole punched paper from a 3rd party vendor. The vendor was making it hard for me to swap out the order and ultimately I decided to purchase the ones I needed. I visited 2 locations to see if I can purchase another set on my own but they didn't lift a finger or bothered to listen enough to help with a solution. That all changed when I stepped into the Gardena Staples and met with Joseph. He listened to my story and found the 2 boxes of the paper I needed today so that I can take it with me to work the next day and not get in trouble. He helped me load the 2 boxes into my trunk (each box weighs 20 lbs). Joseph even went a step further and found another location with the same box of papers I needed. This week, everything that could go wrong went wrong but Joseph's excellent customer service changed my perspective and is now having an upside to the weekend. Thank you for being my angel! Slow paced employees. No sense of urgency. The service at print and copy was horrible. I don't recommend it for someone that's in a hurry. If you are willing to wait for an 30mins just to get a copy or paper laminated then I recommend it for you. read more

I just purchased an H.P. ink cartridge for a new H.P. all-in-one machine we purchased from this same store recently. I attempted to return it the same day, as it was defective, but was advised by their store associate, Brittany, that once the package was open there was nothing they could do for me. She advised me to contact H.P which could take weeks. I have a business to run which is literally around the corner from their store, and I have spent thousands of dollars with them, but that 's all over. The gentleman at the printing center deserves some recognition. I went to get something printed out and he was backed up on other orders. He's a really nice man who always acknowledges customers when they come by his area. I was not upset at him just the fact that he didn't have another person helping him out. When it comes to the printing section they need at least 2 people at all times working so business is going smoothly without having people walk out because they only had one person working in that area. Get it together management. Other than that give the gentleman with the glasses a raise. He's working hard! read more

Extremely disappointed came in to buy printer ink they no longer carry the small version. When I inquired to why they informed me they are making room for other ink cartridges. My parents needed to fax and or email me some documents this morning(I'm in Vegas). They are not very technically savvy so having them do something like this could be a real chore. They went to the Harbor Gateway Staples this morning at 11am and they were assisted by the most helpful salesperson. I had to speak with her at one point because my parents couldn't explain what they needed done. I don't know her name but she was great. She spoke to my parents in Spanish which is easier for them and everything was taken care of. Thank you for all of your help this morning. Order product ink cartridge online with store pickup option. Associate Marvin would not honor order made online because my name was not on order (same last name but different first name). Logged into my account in the store and showed him I was the one that ordered the product. I asked for the manager, initially Marvin indicated that the manager was at lunch and then he said the manager was not available, This was about 7 PM the store closes at 8 PM. Lissa the manager appeared and affirmed that they would not allow me to pickup the cartridges. I went over to Office Depot and they honored the price that I was going to pay at Staples, OfficeMAX was more than helpful and showed me ways that I save on additional purchases. I will not patronage Staples any longer. Customer experience very much Not Satisfied. I am business owner and would not treat my customer in like manner. Bests to be reasonable with your customers so you can have repeat business and they will refer you. Needless to say I will refer my customers to OfficeMax/OfficeDepot. I've been trying to give this location my business, since it's in my general neighborhood. However, they got some game over there. I bought a projector mount, a metal contraption, that mounts to the ceiling, etc. The register lady asks me if I want to buy protection for it. For a metal bracket that mounts on the ceiling? I said no. Looked at my receipt a day later, she added $14.99 for protection. Although she was a Latina, "no" is "no" in both Spanish and English. That really burns me. I don't feel like taking the time to go back over there and argue with someone. I just won't go there at all anymore. read more

I came looking a gift for my father a light up changer. I ask a female employee first but not only she could not help me but she also sound rude. Second male employee send to isle 17 where there I believe was office supplies. Third female employee send me to isle 3 and said someone would come help me, but help did not come. The forth female employee help me thank god. I understand how it is when it pack trust me I work with kids, fun activities, and parties. I understand that you are tired from a long day. I also understand that work is work not a hangout spot. I been to the staples in Crenshaw and I love the help I get there, but here I was tired of going on wild goose chases though the store and I don't plan to go there anytime soon especially when I'm going to need help to find something important. read more

If I could give this location a no start review I would gladly do so. First, I want to express how I felt today on my visit to this staples. If staple is losing any of its loyal customers I want to highly emphasize is due to services like the one I had today. I went in to purchase supplies for my relative who is starting a business because I use to work at staples and I know they have one of the best prices. Today as I shopped around with my young nieces and nephew we were automatically viewed as suspicious people because we came inside with a backpack that had diapers and blankets, the female manager who was on duty this afternoon came up to us with her walkie talkie and asked us to remove our backpack and that it was policy that we cannot walk in here with backpacks, funny thing is we were being watched the whole time by the female security as we shopped, I would understand, if the minute we walked in, they had politely asked us to not come in with a backpack we would of kindly done so, we are understanding people. But they waited till we were in the middle of our shopping to tell us this. I do not want to shop in a place that makes me feel like I'm a criminal. Staples is not the place I used to remember. My shopping experience was not easy. I'll take my family, my backpack and business somewhere else. read more

Very helpful employees, got an order transferred from another location to print and they were able to get it done by the time they agreed on compared to the other location giving me a turn around time of over 24hours, when it was an order qualifying for same day printing. It's one of the smallest Staples, but It's very handy to have and there's plenty of parking. The staff is really nice and friendly although they can be laid back at times, which I guess some people may misinterpret for being lazy. My only gripe about this Staples is this: Very poor selection on some items. I was trying to find DVD-RW and they were almost out. There were only a few spindles of DVDs in that section. For common items like paper, pens and other common office supplies, the shelves are fully stocked. But for more uncommon items, be prepared to see bare shelves in some parts of the store. read more
