I come in here every now and then, but mainly to drop off Amazon returns and since they do electronics recycling to a greater extent than our curbside refuse company pickup can provide. The store has been helpful with this. Good to know we don't have to throw out old things like dead smart watches, batteries, non-working video doorbell cameras, etc. and that Staples is around to help see these things get recycled. read more

I give 5 stars on customer service to printing department, specifically to Dasia H. My boyfriend & I were printing baby shower invites from a purchased template off of ETSY. We were having problems with the template & we were not happy with how the invites were coming out. Dasia not only suggested how to fix the problem but also gave brilliant assistance in Re-creating the invitations so this hormonal, first-time-mama would be satisfied with the invitations. The entire process of obtaining the invitations spanned out over 2 work days for Dasia, and she remained invested & helpful in getting the invites just perfect. We finally left with a pile of beautiful baby shower invitations at an amazing budget friendly price and I am happier than any customer could be. Dasia needs a raise and a longer break. First off there is no place on their website to send a message about general items so that is why I am placing this on Yelp. I asked the cashier for help and he was friendly but couldn't answer my question. The manager walked by. He asked her and she did not say anything and walked away. Then she started working with another customer - or should I say berating that other customer. That customer just wanted an exchange. The manager (whom another employee referred to as "Susan" ) then started shouting at the other customer. Then Susan called the police. Could it have been because the other customer was black? I left and never did get what I was after. I hope nothing bad happened to the other customer. 4 Frankfort police officers showed up. That customer while I was in the store was very polite and not causing any problems. I will never shop at Staples again. read more

This location has the best print service department. We created Christmas cards on their website, and Serenity helped us to select the appropriate format and template over the phone. She then assisted us in creating and printing our return address labels. Serenity was very accommodating and patient with us as we worked on our project. NEVER AGAIN. I already despise this so called store. I only used when in an emergency, now I will go out of my way. I will NEVER step foot in here again. I love school/office supplies. Unreasonably. So coming here is a total kick for me. I come for printer ink and walk out with a bag of cool post it notes and calendars. They also have a rewards program which is very nifty, you get money added to it when you bring an empty ink cartridge back in for recycling. More school supplies! I have purchased my own supplies here as well as stocking stuffers and even made up bags for gifts. Yes, if I like school supplies I figure everyone else does too. Please place someone in the printing department who knows what they're doing. I have been here on three separate occasions and each time it has been a disaster. The employee in this area (same one every time) obviously has not been trained properly. She appears frazzled and overwhelmed and immediately starts throwing out charges at you before you can finish a sentence. There is never anyone around to help, this place is a disaster. read more

Needed an Ink cartridge replacement. On-line said they had it. Went to the store, not in stock. I was told they can order it. I mentioned about the on-line page showed they had it. "OH Yeah, if you order it we can have it here the next day." I was told a different cartridge could be used, so I purchased it. Got home, and my printer would not work with the new cartridge. Spoke to the Tech Support person, and he told me, I don't now anything about printers, said can't help you. The other thing is you can't buy 1 item. You have to buy in packs of 2, 3, 5, or 10 of an item. I needed 1 storage box for some papers I wanted to save. NOPE, had to buy 5 boxes. I told the manager I only need 1. I'm not a business.
