I've used this location for professional printing services several times and have always had a positive experience. I easily complete the order online and can choose to pay prior to or at pickup. Pickup has also gone smoothly and my orders have always been ready before promised. The price was fair for what I was printing. I find this place to be either very empty at times or very full. When you walk in, no one greets you even if they are not busy. Most of the time they have what I'm looking for, at other times it can be bare. The only thing they consistently always have in stock is writing material like pens and pencils. I, a male college student had some frustrations at the post office sending out an overdue textbook, so I went to this location to print out a return label on the fly. Associate Jared was proactive in checking if I needed assistance without being overbearing, and was knowledgeable on printing/shipping. I was initially frustrated from the whole ordeal but Jared's patience and problem solving helped me calm down. Jared helped me prepare my package and I ended up shipping right there. He gave me an extra note of information that the package trucks haven't come by yet, so it will be sent out tonight. Very appreciative of that last part, he put a smile on my face. Please stay away from this store if you want to be served honestly and competently. Two incidents have convinced me not to go back. 1. I bought a gift card to mail to my mother who lived in another state. The clerk kept telling me if this doesn't work come back and someone will help you. I couldn't understand why he middle-aged, dark haired man with a mustache kept repeating and emphasizing this. I thought I watched him scan and activate the card with my other items. I got the receipt mailed the card to my mother and of course there was no value. Despite having paid $100 cash for the card. By the time she got around to using it and left her very embarrassed me as well. I no longer had the receipt. I was not going to ask her to go to the through the trouble of mailing it back. I sent her another one. I just wonder how many people he does that to and pockets for cash and to store to refund or gets away with if people don't come back. 2. I ordered from an expensive store and they attempted delivery to my home when no one was available to sign. It went to the local staples for me to pick up. I took the door tag to the store for six straight days. I had the UPS delivery receipt and the name of the person who signed for it proof of delivery. They casually looked by the cash registers but sorry it's not here. I had the name of the employee who signed And yet they kept saying it was not in the store signatures mean nothing in "UPS people forge them to save time if they know a name of an employee " literally blaming UPS and making me feel crazy. I kept coming back and they would check a tiny little cabinet though I kept saying it is a big box. Finally, the shipper store that sent the box suggested I bring the police fill out a police report because clearly there was depth involved before doing that. I said, I would go one more time. This time I asked if I could personally look in the office wherever boxes were kept this MANAGER who looked 12 years old Vale said ma'am we just keep old candy boxes and other things in---and they're right by the door to the office under a snickers box was my expensive and valuable package. No one had bothered to really look. It had been signed for just shoved in an odd place. The store is disorganized so packages and supplies get mixed together and they're eager to blame UPS as if they take no responsibility for the delivery portion so I have UPS service come there? They were nonchalant and incompetent dismissive and condescending to me and when I found the box myself, he said oh let me scan that in before you take it. I guess we could be more organized. One thing this place succeeds is price. Wondering if Office Depot still exists. Here you can get work/school supplies for less. That's helpful when a new grade is reached for my son. They have some amazing sales, and my guess is doorbusters must bring in more shopping. That's on them though. This is a clean and organized location. I do think highly of their employees too. Unfortunately computers and other tech devices, are more expensive here than most places. They also seem to be low on stock too. That can be frustrating. I came in to print photos from my phone. African American lady sitting behind the desk like she doesn't want to be bothered. I asked her how to do it. She says "Just go to the printer and email them to the printer ." WTF kind of instruction is that?! I was instantly irritated with her but kept my composure. How unprofessional. Another employee, a man who was standing nearby came to me and showed me step by step what to do. I thanked him and he walked away. However, I ran into a problem and couldn't figure out why it wasn't sending the email to the printer. I inquired to the lady. "I don't know. Sometimes iPhones act funny, just email it to yourself and then to the printer again." I tried. No luck. Like HOW DIFFICULTY is it to come and offer assistance? She couldn't be bothered and it was very obvious. If she's in the customer service buisness, how about helping a customer in need? She's not a good look for this company. I ordered a print job at staples and called the print department to see a sample before I get all the printouts. I spoke with Dexter over the phone and she spoke with me with such a great manner and told me i can come over, see the sample and get my printouts. I came to the printing department and she showed me a sample, even changed the file for me which had better margins and printed all 400 copies on the spot for me. I am glad that we have Staples in our neighborhood. It is easily accessible and has plenty of parking. The interior is rather drab because of the lighting. I appreciate that there are always greeters at the door to help you find something and they have literally everything you need for school or work. It is cool that they have a self copy area with so many options for sizes and materials. My only dislike is that their costs are way higher than other big box stores. There is a rewards program but it doesn't offer much. Overall, it is a good store but is definitely not my go to store for office or school products. read more

We came to return an Xfinity router since staples is now partnered with them to accept returns. We called the store and xfinity and they confirmed they can do this. We arrived and the young boy at the return center looked lost and confused. We asked for a manager to assist as we were told they can do this without an issue. The young boy looked scared to death to ask the manager. He went over to what I'm going to assume is the manager. This was the nastiest meanest manager we ever came across. He was speaking to the young boy like he was stupid. We then told the manager directly we're just trying to make a return. The manager throws up his hands and looks/talks to us like we're stupid. The manager was bright red and looked like he just got done yelling at someone. Manager was telling us off and screaming at us to get out. This was the most violent interaction I've ever had and extremely uncalled for. The manager was throwing his arms everywhere and asking us "who told you that you can make a return?!?!" We told him we don't know! Quite frankly even if we did know the name we wouldn't tell this guy because he probably would have flipped on his employee based on how violent and aggressive he was. I have never had anyone, a manager at that, come at me and my boyfriend like a complete animal. It caused a scene in the entire story, yelling at us across from the store, using foul language and curse words. He was rushing us to get out and I thought he was going to assault us. NEVER EVER GO HERE! UPS store down the street did the router return in literally 2 seconds without any issue. All they had to do was scan the code on the bottom of the router and it had all the information. To think that something so small and simple caused the biggest scene ever is unbelievable to me. This is not my go-to place for school supplies but when all the big bargain stores are sold out of what you need... you have to bite the bullet and do what ya gotta do... So they had a great selection for the weekend before school starting, but the prices were way out of reach, $1 for pocket folders with no prongs!!! Well... you don't even want to know how much they want for Sharpies and dry erase markers! But with the school systems expecting you to pay for more and more of the teachers' supplies, sometimes you have no choice but to pay more when you can't find what you need at other places... I haven't been to an office store in a while and appreciated when I walked in a associate greeted me. As i walked around aimlessly, another associate asked me if I needed help. I badly did as I had no idea what the item I was looking for specifically was called as I was buying it for someone else. Not only did the associate take the time to help me, but also showed me the other options they offered and the other items that I needed. Great customer service. I walked in 20 minutes before closing and the manager, Edward M., made me and my son feel like valued customers. He tracked down an item I needed and called the manager at the only other store that had it. While he was on hold, he assisted 2 other customers with their office supply needs in a quick and efficient manner. As we were leaving, her continued to help customers without making anyone feel rushed, even though the store was closing. I almost forgot that I had brochures to print for a meeting the next morning. In a panic, I sped (within limits lol) to Staples, which was close by. With 30 minutes to spare before the store closed, I met Ifran and Vezly, who were exTREMEly helpful. Ifran helped me to select the appropriate paper and printed what I needed. I provided five stars, because they also used this cool machine which folded the brochures as trifolds within a blink of an eye. I was so amazed, I jumped up and down (literally). I had an absolutely terrible experience at this Staples today. Last night I placed an order for two simple 8x11 prints and uploaded two PDFs to the website. I asked for it to be ready at 1 pm today (and paid a rush fee for that!) as I needed the prints by 6:30 for my parents' anniversary dinner and wanted to allow some leeway in case something went wrong. When I got to the store at 5 pm, I asked for my order and Irina told me they had a problem with my file and couldn't open it or print it. She was rude and completely unapologetic; she didn't think to call me or email me when the computer couldn't open my files (a simple PDF!) She told me to go home and email the file to staples@printme.com. I went all the way home, emailed it as she asked, and when I came back she said there weren't any attachments to the email. I literally pointed to the screen where you could see the PDF and PNG files. She saw them, rolled her eyes at me, and clicked it, but again- the computer couldn't process them. The whole time she was being really rude and totally unapologetic about the fact that a. the system couldn't print a pdf that had been uploaded and viewed on the website and b. she had never bothered to call me and tell me my file didn't work. Eventually, the manager (I think his name was Ali) came over to process my refund and the computer froze up twice while refunding me my purchase on my debit card. He tried to shift the blame to me and told me I was using the wrong card, even though I only have one card to use. I finally got my refund in cash at 6 pm, after an hour of dealing with this. Luckily, I was able to go to Walmart, where they printed my products in 10 minutes. I was able to get the gift to my parents just in time. Between the failure to fulfill my very simple print job and the absolutely horrendous customer service, I will never be coming back to this store and will try to avoid Staples in general. read more

Staples has UPS drop off and copier service! This is great but the service you get is terrible. Numerous times members of my family have mentioned having to deal with a horrible woman that has a major attitude. If you say "hello" you get a response like "hmmm". Not sure how much I can describe this person she usually wears a wig and is middle aged. I hope Staples does some customer service improvements soon! read more

It is no mystery why Staples is closing branches everywhere. In addition to poor customer service, poor selection, and overpriced goods, this place tries to compete by hiring inept foreigners and economic refugees to get tax breaks and pay them substandard wages while taxpayers foot the bill for their housing, food, education, etc. Shopping here is worse than third world experience. Give Staples to motivated American-born high school kids or veterans, not these zombie foreigners. Today was a nightmare at printing shop. Not only was the printer slow....(The machine seems to take a minute to process every step.) but the foreign help was incompetent. One customer wanted a few colored sheets of paper. No dice. Printing rep said she had to buy the whole package in bulk. So much for helping the customer -- charge what you would normally charge for printing, make the sale, and give the customer what she wants. Why not give her the five sheets and charge her 5 sheets of photocopying? Didn't want to do that. The lady said she didn't want to pay $19 for a whole pack when she only needed five sheets as if she had printed five sheets of black paper. Staples didn't want to accommodate, losing a customer who walked out is disbelief. Then as I was printing, this printing lady kept hovering around me. I asked her what she wanted. Since I paused, she wanted to know whether I checked out or not. No one was waiting for the machine. She was just a busy body nuisance. I was double checking my prints. At one point I stepped away to get staples as the stapler was out of them and the shop hadn't bothered to replenish. So this printer lady, in all of her genius, walked over to my machine and kept hitting "print." That's right. I didn't request the copies. She just kept making them on her own accord while my credit card was logged in. I asked her what she was dong and she said she needed to keep printing so that I would not get logged out. Hey, Lady...If I get logged out, my price is capped. I can just log back in and continue my session. Instead, she kept hitting print, running up a bill on my credit card. Print! Print! Print! After I challenged her on this craziness, she refunded my money. That it happened in the first place, blew my mind. No only can Staples employees not speak proper English, but they lack common sense and basic competence to do their job. I asked her why she would just print on someone's credit card without their permission. A mother and son witnessed this and just looked at each other, shook their heads, and walked out. Going to Staples is a nightmarish third world experience. Staff is incompetent and unhelpful. Machines are slow. Supplies are not being replenished in a timely fashion. It's simply too stressful going here. Would rather pay 5 more cents at the library per copy than deal with this. Staples deserves to go out of business. Their third world immigrant employees who can't even perform the basics of their jobs with any competence is too much. I don't know how anyone can do business at or with a place like this. read more

I wish there was an option to give zero stars because that would be the most accurate rating. I've been living in this area for eight years now and I finally had it with the Staples store. I would be willing to drive almost anywhere else than to deal with the absolute lack of helpfulness of the employees. I've gone in here on several occasions looking for a very specific pen made by sharpie and twice employees have argued with me that said product doesn't exist. They carry almost every color, shape and size of sharpie markers except for the type that don't bleed through, made for writing. It wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't insist that there is no such thing. I consider going back in to show them what one looks like but I just don't have it in me. On a completely separate note, today I went into the store to pick up one single item and there was one person working behind the register with all the other employees milling about. The employee helping the customer at the register seem to be having difficulties and after five people were waiting in line finally someone else opened a register, although it was only by circumstance not because the original employee called for help. The second register seemed to be having problems as well and yet when the manager walked by a line of seven people he not only said nothing to the employees but also made no attempt to help anyone waiting in line. Finally, the employee working at the copy center came over and asked if anyone would like to come over and get help from her. I continued to wait and when it was my turn I went up to the register and the employee didn't even look up or acknowledge me whatsoever. She rang up the items, I swiped my card and she made no attempt to even hand me the receipt or the bag so I was left to just fend for myself. Unreal! read more

I bought a book shelf on a Friday morning, expecting to receive it the next business day, Saturday. (Hey they're open on Saturdays and take my money, that's a business day!) instead promised to deliver Monday/today between 8-5pmEST. Monday (my day off) arrives no phone call. Called the store 2x. The 1st time the lady I spoke to, wouldn't give me her name, only take my phone#, promises to call me back AFTER she finds out what's up. An hour later, I call back no response. FINE, CALLED CORPORATE! After waiting 30 minutes to speak to a body, I finally find out my delivery was bumped the next business day, and I wasted my day being available. Ordered a Power Adapter for a MacBook Pro online for 1 hour pick up. Website said 2 in stock. After waiting 90 minutes with no pick up notification, I called the store to check status. A pleasant young man told be it was a good thing I called instead of just coming over. They didn't have them. I said the site said 2 in stock. He said sometime that happens. He really was polite. If they did't have it, I should have been notified within the hour. I did get a notification that item wasn't in stock nearly 2 hours after the order. But that was 5-10 minutes after my call. Ripoff! I sent the kids there to get back to school supplies and the next day I took every single item back for a full refund. I got there bright and early to be sure I'd be the first customer in the store and when the employee who opened the door saw me w/ my four bags of Staples items he said something like, "What have we here?" I said I need to return all of this. He asked why and I said the prices were way too high and I found the exact same stuff at Walmart for one fourth of the price. Terrible customer service! I was the victim of racial discrimination. I believe that had I not been white, I would have been helped. BTW, no one is really white-we're all multi-racial anyway. Although I only needed a photocopy, the employee (I think it was a manager) would not be bothered to help. She was fixing a copier. There were about SIX unused copiers, but that didn't matter. I have shopped here twice. First time I had great service. The visit today was so bad I left my haul and walked out. I needed help with a external hard drive and 2 monitors.
