Back in May of 2022, our dog started barking at the ceiling. We thought there might be something in the attic. I checked the attic and found nothing, but he continued to bark at the ceiling at various times. So, I called Stanton Wildlife Services. The guy came out and checked the attic. He said that we had mice. He showed me what he said was mice poop on the walls of some areas of the attic and "tunnels" through the insulation in the floor. So, he put mice bait all over the place. I asked him how this works. He said that the mice would eat it, then go outside to get water, and then they would die. I asked him how I would know it would work. He said that the bait would be eaten and I'd see dead mice in my yard. He said it would take approximately 5-6 weeks for it to start working. He said that they guaranteed their work. After 4 months, I noticed that none of the bait was eaten, and there were no dead mice to be found. After several unsuccessful attempts to get in touch with the owner through texts and phone calls, he finally told me that the only thing they could do is come out and put some more bait out. I told him that wouldn't help because the original bait is still there. He said he could come out and do another inspection, but he would have to charge me to come out. I was not going to accept that. I filed a BBB complaint. I then had a friend look at my attic, and he said that we didn't have a mouse problem; we had a roach problem. So, I got some roach bait, and the problem was eventually solved. The dog doesn't bark at the ceiling anymore. I would not recommend Stanton Wildlife Services to anyone. He should've noticed that the problem was roaches from the beginning. I would've saved myself a lot of money. read more
