After my initial review the owner reached out to me personally and apologized about what had happened and offered to come back and re-do the job for a significant price reduction. When they came back they did a great job - they cleaned out all my gutters, showed me before and after pictures, and apologized once again for what happened during my first visit. It was an absolute pleasure working with Cody to get gutter guards installed for our gutter system. I had initially reached out for a quote through a yelp project request and he was prompt to respond. Not only that, but he provided a high level of detail in his responses, which was much appreciated given that it's a new experience for us. He displayed the same level of professionalism when he came out to our house for the in-person consultation. We did not feel pressured at any point during the process. On the day of the installation, Cody came out with his partner Terry. They were both on time and got right to it after explaining the steps they'll be taking to do the job. Interestingly, they were so quiet walking on the roof that I did not even realize they were up there until after they had already started cleaning out the gutters. It took about 2 hours for the cleaning and another 4 hours for the installation. I actually walked on the roof with Cody afterwards and it was clear that they took pride in their work. I really appreciated their diligence and attention to detail. They even cut the guards to accommodate the brackets that I had installed for my security cameras! Robert and Christian did a good job of washing our house, exterior windows and hanging Christmas lights. They were professional, courteous and respectful of our property. I was slightly (very slightly) disappointed about 3 items: 1) They used a water wand in our screened patio area - this is like an extension of our living area. It was a small amount of water to wipe up. 2) I requested additional Christmas lights after the installer implied it could be done...the owner said it could not be done. 3) My gutters aren't 100% white. I was told they don't use gutter cleaner anymore as it could damage the surface, it would have been nice if they used a rag or brush. These are minor items but worthy of mention. I reached out on yelp to a few gutter contractors when I discovered my gutter on the third story was partially detached from the house. A few weeks later I had a heavy rain and noticed the gutter spilling over. I called the office and they were responsive sending a team out to review the original repair work. It turned out to be an alignment issue that they said they should have caught the first time around. They fixed it quickly and professionally. They did not charge for the second visit. We just used Gleaming Gutters to hang holiday lights in our neighborhood on our entire condo building and it blew all of our minds. We had no idea just how wonderful it would turn out.
