Speaking as a patient, Dr. Pham is hands down the best eye doctor I have ever seen. Her attention to every detail is unparalleled. She is beyond thorough. She takes all the time that my case needs to be addressed and does follow up visits to assess my progress and tweak the treatment til I achieve the best possible vision for me. I am a tough case because I had RK surgery in the late 80's. Another optometrist I saw recently incorrectly told me I was developing glaucoma in a rushed 15 minute visit! Fortunately I was told to do a follow up with Dr. Pham. She performed countless tests on me and got to the absolute best option to correct my vision. Her office has some state of the art medical equipment as well. Turned out the "developing glaucoma" diagnosis wasn't accurate. Whew! Dr. Pham is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and detailed. She does a great job explaining all the nuances of my particular diagnosis. She took the time to personally show me how insert and take care of my lenses. I have never been rushed during a visit and all my visits have started promptly. She even opened her office, came in and saw me on her day off once! Honestly she is just amazing. I drive 45 minutes each way to see her and she will be my ONLY eye doctor unless she has to send me to a specialist at some point. Katy TX, you guys are SO LUCKY to have her in your neighborhood. Side note - Hubby and I make an afternoon of my visits there and pair my vision appointment with a visit to Pane e Vino for a great lunch as well. Their food in excellent!

I remembered clearly calling my childhood best friend, Dr. Sang Pham of Eye Max Vision Source for help. She came down and examined me multiple times. She was the one who demanded more testings to be done. She pretty much put me at the top of her list to make sure I was getting the care I needed. She advocated for me until I received the proper care. After so many specialized dr visits, nothing worked. I finally went to my chiropractor and she was able to managed my migraines with medical massages every other week. This treatment was better than taking oral medication which caused me to sleep and wake up with a headache. Recently, I went in for my annual eye exam with Dr. Sang and she has introduced me to Neurolens. It's a quick eye exam. Apparently my eyes are misaligned and this maybe a huge factor why I am getting migraines. I have been wearing these special glasses that has contoured prism in the lens. It took about a week to adjust but now more than a month in--my headaches/migraines has reduced tremendously. Thank you for taking care of me! I highly recommend Dr. Sang! She is very attentive and thorough.

This was arguably the worst experience I've had trying to communicate with a doctor and facility. Do not go here unless you have a lot of free time to argue and have multiple appointments to make sure they listen to you. In retrospect, there are a few places things fell apart. 1) The appointment. I realized later the doctor never asked me for my old prescription. He also did an exam and then lectured me about how I'm going to need glasses for astigmatism and seemed to be amused and joking about me getting old. When I pick up my prescription for glasses and contacts they are way off. It took me a week or so to realize (because I generally trust my doctors) but after dizzy spells I realized he had prescribed me a significant jump over my existing prescription which has not only stayed the same for two decades, I had worked with my last eye doctor to lower my prescription bc of headaches due to being on screens for the whole day. I came back in for another exam and he didn't apologize or say anything other than to change my prescription after he verified he was way off the first time. Not that I asked for compensation but nothing was offered. 2) The ordering/ front desk. Nice people but they are wholly disconnected from their customers. After my lens prescription was corrected I asked multiple times to ensure the glasses were changed too. I was assured by the woman up front as well as the guy who makes the lenses that they would be. When I came back again (we are now on our third visit) they were not only wrong, they used the wrong type of lens. The tech could not explain why he did that but just took them back and said he'd fix them. I reminded him again at that time to make sure the prescription was updated bc they were wrong. Fourth visit. Guess what? Lenses are correct but prescription is wrong again. Yet again no explanation and no apologies let alone any sort of offer to compensate or rectify for my time. Just another "well come back again" 3) Related, my parents had a similar experience. The condescending doctor didn't listen to my mother and gave her glasses that made her dizzy. She doesn't speak up as much as I do so she just kept them and didn't use them until she got them corrected elsewhere. I have no words for the level of terrible experience I had here. I simply do not have time in my day for this level of incompetence. After that last appointment I just didn't bother. I have a pair of $400 glasses I can't wear sitting in my drawer and I'm glad we are finally on a new year so I can find a competent eye doctor.

This office had struggled to verify my insurance, despite my personal ability to verify both with my medical and with my vision that I have coverage. Two days before my appointment, the doctor herself called me to say that I was covered, and that the cost was $15 for glasses plus the cost of contact lenses. What does that make you think? I thought my visit was covered. When I went to check out, I was told I owed $75. When I asserted that there had been quite a bit of back-and-forth about this and that the exam was supposed to be completely covered - the doctor came out to argue that the cost for the glasses portion of the EXAM was $15 and the cost of the contact PRESCRIPTION (not the lenses themselves) $60. This is intentionally misleading and she should be ashamed of herself. Under no circumstances will I ever return there.

I said several times that my left eye was different, but he insisted that they were the same prescription. Took 4 tries to get contacts I could live with. Then had glasses made that I give a 6 out of 10 for good vision. Eye glass place tested my glasses and they are made to his prescription.. so now I'll have to pay another place to redo my eye exam and get a new prescription. Luckily Sams will redo my lenses for free if I get the second eye exam within 30 days.
