I showed up for my 8:45am appointment at the Hanford location and the door was locked. I had to…read morecall the office. They unlocked the door, I signed in and then sat down. After 9am I went back to the counter and asked why the wait. The girl at the counter said there was a problem with my insurance for the follow-up (my insurance is the same as on file). I told her they should have taken care of that before my appointment and I didn't have time to wait. I told her I would need to reschedule. She said "ok, the DOCTOR ISN'T EVEN IN YET ANYWAY." Isn't even in!!!!! I do not appreciate you wasting my time. I will NOT be returning if your office continues to be managed this way. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!

I have been a patient of Dr. White since I was about 18, now 54. My experiences this month have…read morebeen horrible. Started with my son waiting over 1 1/2 hours past his appointment to even get seen. Charged me a $39 copay for him. Thought it odd, but paid in advance of his getting there. When I go to my appointment two weeks later, there was no copay. I questioned why my son had one when he is on my insurance and was told he must have agreed to the digital images. No way! He had no contact with them before I was charged. As I waited in the middle reception area, I was "treated" to hearing the staff make fun of patient "E" and violate his HIPPA rights going on about how he calls every day about his contacts and how they thought it was so funny that his order was not even placed for the first two weeks. I completed my appointment, picking out my new glasses and was told 7-10 days. I had to clarify several times that I did not want bifocals, transitions, etc. and had to dodge the upsell of laser treatments. After about 10 days, I call to see if they are in. After they "check", I was told they were not in and would be two weeks. Day 15, I call and after they "check", I was told I had to see the doctor again because she wanted to see me to clarify my prescription. What?! I was already completely irritated by I make an appointment to drive to Tulare so I could be seen faster. Office staff was very nice and they basically repeat my exam again. I see the doctor and express my disappointment over the past month. She apologizes and says she is going to put a rush on my glasses. A few minutes after leaving the office, I get another appointment confirmation for 3/9/26. Today I call to ask what it is even for and was told it is for the laser treatments - 4 sessions. Are you kidding me?! I was up front in Hanford telling her I was not interested, go to Tulare and not a word was said about them, and then they just schedule me for skin procedures I never wanted. At this point, I plan to part ways after I get my glasses. Would not even wait that long had I not already paid for them weeks ago. Office staff has been unprofessional for years - other issues I have not even mentioned. I had stayed because I liked the doctor. After this experience and what I consider unethical upsells, I'm done.
