This staff concluded with call, told me "you know size of frames are on the side". I replied no I didn't know and btw I need my glasses I got from here adjusted. Staff replied so do I and also I saw you looking on that side when I told you to stay over here because those are women's. My 15 yo was upset and felt it was disrespectful & rude. He did not want anything from there. We left. I felt I needed to let it be known. Uploaded all my insurance cards and ID. By the time I got to the office, it was easy breezy and the front desk staff was super nice. Burgandy did the advance tests and was also super nice! Dr. Feil did some more tests and explained what was happening in my eyes in simple, easy to understand terms. He is very thorough! Since I'm a Medicare insurance agent, I have spoken to hundreds of clients over the years about cataract surgery and how they felt pressured to pay extra for laser and upgraded lens. We had nice convo about cataract surgery where he freely shared his thoughts about the different options. Everyone made me feel very welcomed! I felt like I had been going there for years. Was there waiting time, in between tests? Yes. But nothing out of the ordinary. I don't mind at all and even relish the quiet moments. Overall, I woud totally recommend Dr. Feil!

I felt like she…read moregave me a thorough exam, and she took the time to educate me about what products I should use. Many of the people at Sierra Eye Group were great. The assistant to the doctor was so sweet and kind, I had to tell the doctor what a wonderful employee she had. The person who helped me pick out my glasses and sunglasses, made the experience fun and enjoyable. The issue was filling my prescription for my sunglasses. I was excited to pick up my new sunglasses. When I tried to pick them up the first time, the tint was too light. The people at Sierra Eye Group were very apologetic about the situation but they explained that what happened at the lab was out of their control. Today, I went to pick them up for a third time, once again the tint was too light. I spoke to one of the managers. She said my order was written for a level 3 tint and today the tint on my glasses was a level 2. The manager had spoken to the person who had helped me originally, and that person said when my glasses were done for the first time the tint was a 1. During the course of the conversation, the manager told me that if I didn't allow them to send it back to one of the labs, they wouldn't fill any of my future prescriptions. I asked why. I was told that they wouldn't be able to meet my standards and that would be the case for future glasses. BASICALLY, I WAS THE PROBLEM. I asked to speak to one of the owners. She told me they didn't have time and I could write them a letter. I realized they were probably seeing patients. If the manager had given me an email address or if she would have said she would talk to the owners about the situation, I would have heard. Instead, I felt: 1. I'm being unreasonable for wanting my classes to be done correctly the first time. 2. I was threatened that if I didn't allow them to send my glasses to one of their labs they work with, I would be refused future services. Please know that I won't put myself in this situation again. 3. My situation wasn't important enough to bother the owners. What is frustrating is the lack of accountability. I understand that Sierra Eye Group isn't in control of the work the lab does. However, they are aware that this lab doesn't consistently do acceptable work. Yet, they still work with that lab, and because of that I still have sunglasses that aren't done correctly. I'm not sure which is worse, how the situation was handled or having to return my glasses for a second time.

Recently, he performed a very successful cataract surgery on my husband with excellent results. It was done at the medical center right next door. That staff is excellent. They have the registration process down to a science. They are polite, caring and have wonderful bedside manners. They truly care for you and make you as comfortable as possible. I recently had eyelid surgery from Dr. K in the same surgical center. He was amazing and the process couldn't have been easier. I was well tended by Jennifer, Krista and the others at the enter. Dr, Feil has a great crew of professionals.

Three weeks later when I received my glasses, they didn't fit my vision and Serrins had to re-do. Another three weeks passed and when I tried my eyeglasses, they still didn't fit my vision, in fact, the lenses got worse! Another 3 weeks went by and I finally called Serrins about my eyeglasses, to which the staff said that it was delivered to the wrong lab and that they're going to send it back to the correct lab. Frustrated, I decided to retrieve my frame back and go somewhere else where they know what they're doing! Overall, there were 2.5 months without my glasses! Unacceptable! (Granted, Serrins have some friendly staff in the office, I would NOT recommend them based on my personal experience.)
