Heard about this place so had to stop on the way to San Diego. Little place buried among houses in Yuma. I guess it used to sell groceries too but now it's a full on restaurant. Ordered the ultimate meat burrito. AWESOME! Comes with ham, bacon, potatoes, egg, cheese, and sausage. Definitely recommend this burrito. I swear it weighed like 2-3 lbs! Massive! And delicious! They have two types of hot sauce. Red which had great flavor and green which was good too and had more spice. On the way home to Phoenix, I stopped again. This time got the carne asada. Comes with carne, rice, beans, cabbage, and pico. It was good but liked the ultimate better. Just as huge though. Wow! Well needless to say, it will be go to stop on the way to California. They are only open until 2pm just so you know. read more

My nephew wanted breakfast burritos, so we ended up at Stan's -- you know, the place proudly voted "Best Burritos in Yuma." And listen... that title feels a little ambitious. More like biggest burritos, not best burritos. These things are the size of a carry‑on bag, but flavor‑wise? Let's just say TSA wouldn't stop them. I don't eat gluten anymore, so I did the responsible thing and performed a full burrito autopsy. The filling was egg and cheese -- simple, fine, nothing life‑changing. My nephew liked his, but I wasn't exactly having a spiritual breakfast moment. Friendly staff, but "best burrito" is giving local propaganda. If you want a burrito the size of a small child, Stan's has you covered. But Best? Sweetie, Let's Not Stretch the Truth. Anyone can cook scrambled egg and cheese. lol read more

Absolutely loved the breakfast burrito here! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with generous portions and great seasoning. The burrito was filling without feeling overly heavy, and the combination of ingredients was spot-on. Friendly service and a great option for a satisfying breakfast. Bigass burrito's and it tasted really good, new to Yuma & I've came here twice in one week. Cant beat these breakfast burritos!

Wow this place has changed from a quiet hidden grocery store to a full on restaurant. One thing that hasn't changed is Joanne and her smile. The food is still on point with old favorites and new things to try. Burritos are absolutely gigantic and it's enough for 2 meals. read more

We were looking for someplace new to stop at in Yuma on our way to Phoenix for a quick breakfast. This was one of the places that was recommended on yelp for breakfast burritos. My husband and I split the Machaca burrito. I ordered it with just Machaca and egg but it came with the potatoes inside too. Which was fine. It is huge. And definitely worth the price. We didn't even finish it and had enough for a whole other burrito. Unfortunately they don't use the giant tortillas that we get in San Diego. Unfortunately the tortilla didn't stay together at all. We ended up having to eat it with a fork. We did get a second tortilla and the remainder of the filling was put in that one. We had it the next day for breakfast. Flavor wise it was okay. We have a favorite shop in Poway that makes the absolute best Machaca so we always compare other places with it. This was a 7 out of 10 flavor wise. It was not juicy and needed salsa to add flavor to it. Texture wise we have never had one before that was so crumbly. Didn't care for that. When we walked in there was not one there at the counter or in the shop. I could hear someone talking in the back. I had to go back and let them know we were here. The salsa bar.... Two choices red or verde was not a great set up. The flavor of them was fine. The verde is very spicy. I would go back and try something different. But it didn't live up to some of the reviews of it being the best burrito. Would give it a 3 1/2 stars if that was possible. read more

These burrito are filling and can be enjoyed for breakfast and lunch. Parking is a bit limited to rough (6) stalls in the front, and a few on the right side of the structure near the trash cans. Upon entering you'll notice a full menu displayed on the tv monitors, yet you've gotta read quick, because the menu changes quickly. Suggestion adjust the speak of the menu changing. Typically it takes people 10 seconds to review menu and digest information. Overall burrito were very tasty and filling with full of flavoring. Do yourself a favor and ask for a bacon, potato, and egg burrito, put some salsa verde on it and it will be the last time you go to any other place. Large Burritos. Kind of dry. Salsa is red or green. Hot or hotter. Service is slow if there other customers

Yeah......so, I've been in Yuma for a couple years, and just found this place because of Yelp. You need to go here. The breakfast burritos are gigantic.......probably a pound and a half, at least. Simple, tasty, and quality ingredients. The green salsa is simply amazing. The red (which I usually don't bother with) is also damned fine! If you need a burrito sized like a baby, made fast, and with some incredible salsa, just drive over here. I know I will be. read more

Wifey and I go there on Saturday mornings, best breakfast burritos in Yuma County. The supreme is . Great service and cooks

Stopped in for a burrito today after hearing amazing things from multiple Yuma locals and Stan's did not disappoint! There's clearly a reason they've been voted Yuma's Best so many times. My burrito was MASSIVE. I ordered the bacon and egg, and I bet this thing had 6 scrambled eggs and 6 pieces of bacon in it! (Probably not that much, but it was heavy and huge so maybe.) I ate less than half and was stuffed, so I was able to share the rest with my husband and toddler. One burrito fed my entire family breakfast, haha! Not to mention it was really tasty too. I didn't need to add any extra salsa or cheese or anything- the flavor was already great on its own! I look forward to coming back and trying more burritos for sure. The service was so quick and the woman that took our order was incredibly sweet. She gave my toddler a sucker and that kept him entertained while we waited for our food (it only took a few minutes total). read more

Best place in town for a breakfast Burrito. Filled tortilla to the max. The price is a bit pricey but compared to other Burrito places they have the biggest by far. I have yet been able to eat a full burrito. I either save the rest for lunch or I give it to my man to finish. Let me say that I can eat and put the food away but can not finish one of these. read more

Let me start with this place was always a family favorite for burritos. We would take our family from out of town and everything but after these last two visits have made it to where we will probably never return. We loved the family feel in the environment and how friendly the ladies were in the back and in the front, the food is always super hot and fresh. 1st of all we went and they didn't even have rice and still had 3 hours before they closed. They were changing around the building. Then this last they didn't even have carne asada. How can you have burritos and not offer carne asada. The gentleman at the counter had no customer service. He wasn't friendly he didn't care about his customers at all... it now makes you feel like you're just a dollar sign to them and they want you to hurry up and take your food and get out. Trust me I couldn't wait to leave after we felt like this and we would go there so often that the ladies would know our order and now we will probably never return after these two experiences. Then the cost of the food went up way more than you would imagine, I understand inflation, but it was crazy. It doesn't feel family owned anymore it's feels like any other burrito place.... Nothing about this place stands out anymore. It is sad because in Yuma there really isn't that many good spots and this was one for he stop and having back to back visits not be good was disappointing. read more

Their food is good and the customer service is friendly; as well as, professional. I left with a smile and well fed.
