    Get your drank on!

Sometimes you just want a good little local dive bar to enjoy some cheap drinks and some good music. I'm honestly surprised my lady and I hadn't been here sooner, but when I found out Hot Like Mars was playing here live recently, I knew we had to go. The place itself feels like a classic local dive bar for sure. I can tell there are a plethora of regulars so they're definitely doing something right. They also have an outdoor patio with lots more seating. They have a small stage near the front inside and feature lots of live music on weekends. Their beer selection is pretty nice, wine list isn't nearly as big but has a couple nice selections, and of course there's a full bar loaded with spirits. The bartenders were are very friendly and attentive even with how busy and loud it was while the band played their set. Plus the price we paid for our libations was very nice. I may be a beer geek but I'm not above a $3 Miller High Life. I think this is now one of my top dive bars in my area. Is it THE TOP? I might need another visit to make that decision. I'm sure my lady won't be against another visit.

Great venue for up coming bands!!! Great sound in the room. Yes it has a bit narrow quarters but it's just right!! They have an outdoor patio that you can get away to chat a bit with your fellows. They have a plethora of alcohol drinks!! I had their Wild Turkey bourbon straight which is one of my favorites that has a huge kick so ladies be careful unless your tough to handle it!! Enjoying the music tonight!! Stringbreakers and Stuffbreakers band from Brazil They made their first debut in the States at Stanley's Pub!! How awesome.....the manager has a huge heart and was a pleasure to meet all of them!! Gone Solo!!

When you close your eyes and picture a neighborhood bar... This is probably what comes to mind. Cheap beer ($1.50 bottles during happy hour) and the basics when it comes to cocktails. The back porch is amazing! They could use some nicer furniture, but the landscaping and tall fences make you forget that your so close to civilization. I couldn't stick around late enough to hear the live music but they have some impressive acts coming to town judging for the posters on the walls! Check this place out of you want to get away from your usual spot.

Came here for a reggae concert. I'm not a huge reggae fan (I'm like, sure, I can dance to reggae and it's fun, but not more than that). However, it seemed like the people who know about reggae thought that $12 for 5 different bands was a really reasonable price. The outdoor patio is great! Just such an easy going vibe about it, very relaxing! The indoor was nice because of the air conditioning but otherwise not special at all. In fact, I'm really not very likely to come here just for a drink inside because it felt a pretty dirty - a typical dive bar I guess. Would definitely come back if there would be another outdoor concert evening of a genre I like. Otherwise, I'll leave the dive bars to the real dive bar fans!

Ahh Stanleys. Living in Columbia Tusculum, Stanley's is my go-to place for an after work drink. While it is partly for the convenience of being within walking distance of my apartment, I really do love the charm of Stanley's. It is definitely a dive bar, with cheap drinks, a cozy atmosphere, a low-key vibe and an eclectic crowd. The bartenders are great and there's a great patio out back. There's also live music pretty frequently, with both local and out of town bands. There is usually a cover with the bands, which I'm not always a fan of, but if you're into live music it's a great spot to catch a show. Definitely worth a visit for the experience...and some cheap drinks!

    Not actually disappointed.

Good music, strong drinks, kinda smells like a fart. Five stars. Will definitely be returning.

The lady just sat there with her hand out and said what do you need. Made us pay right after getting our drink despite us sitting at the bar and not asking if we were going to get another drink. I then said do I have to close after every drink and she said well are you getting another one. I said yes and she was frustrated and said uh well then I need a card. My friend asked what kind of beers they had and she got an attitude and huffed and said it's on the wall. She told us the price of every drink and asked if it was ok as if we couldn't afford it.we were not offered water, not asked if we wanted food. No one was asked to pay immediately. Anyone after us was given water, the tone was nicer, and was asked if they'd like an order put in Pure nastiness. I used to come here all the time and have never encountered this but the years definitely have changed this place. Do not recommend if you're a person of color. They are still living in the past. UPDATE The manager came out and we spoke to him. He was a lot nicer and offered us a drink for my friends birthday.

They also actually live up to their name, considering they have a little guinea pig working the bar, who came over and let us know that even though the website says they have food, surprise! They do not. He then told us that he needed to see some ID's because we were clearly not 21, but the pot bellied pig with a face more punchable than Kamala Harris, looked like he's about 1/4th of the way through puberty. After we told him we would be leaving due to the absence of calories, he pushes up his stupid tiny little glasses and stops us from leaving. We are all now wondering why mini Jonah Hill is holding us hostage? he then asks us where we are from and we tell him West Virginia to which he sincerely apologizes. Whether he thought West Virginia was a 3rd world country or he just has the social skills of a kindergartener we do not know. But we do know that The Flying Pig is by far the worst establishment i have ever paid a visit to in my 42 years of living. ~Jason M

I love the ambiance and the small inside, yet large and plentiful outdoor spaces. I usually sit in the "Tent" outside when coming here with friends and order from the she shed, but it was closed. That ended up working perfectly because it was so hot outside that my friends and I wanted as much AC as we could get. We got in and there were few people there. It ended picking up a little after an hour there. My friends and I sat at a large table(there were 6 of us) and played Uno for two hours. We shared some fries and fried pickles. Both were very good and came out hot and fresh, although the fries could have used some salt. The drinks are just what you would expect. The bartenders are always friendly and quick to get or make a drink. Dana's is a great neighborhood bar and a cheap and easy place to go on any night.
