The Father and Son team Roy and Kirk did a great job on hardwood floors, an area rug in an office and a bathroom with shower cleaning floors and grout. There was a headboard they did not think could be cleaned. I would rather have honesty and they have seen enough to know what will come out and what won't. Careful. Once scheduled the tech tells you a higher price when he comes to do the job. I was surprised and canceled the job.

The men who preformed the work were good and respectful. However, the next day in my mailbox, there was a $50 coupon for services of $299 or more. My service was well over $300 so I called the office to express my findings. The person whom I spoke with, was less than respectful and very short with me. This was not the case when I placed the order with the previous gentleman. He was not at all sympathetic to my issue or my concern. He just wanted to get me off the phone. I suggest should you be thinking about using Stanley Steemer to ask about all coupons and if they will honor them within a day or two after service. read more

They arrived to clean my area rug and couldn't find the tag indicating material To see if it was safe to steam clean. AAlex me if I knew and I didn't have any idea. Tested a spot and asked if if they could proceed. looked fine when they were done but was covered in brown spots in the morning. I flipped the corner of the rug and there was the tag indicating made with viscose. they indicated that was the issue as it couldn't be steamed cleaned and it was all on me since I said to proceed. seems like locating the tag to avoid this is pretty basic. Refused to make it right. Check the photos out and judge for yourselves. I'd recommend finding someone else to clean your carpet read more

Do not hire this company!!! One of their workers stole $4,000 from my aunt and uncle while cleaning their floors. When confronted, the owner denied it and sent out the same worker to a different house who also stole from them. Law enforcement got involved and the worker refused to take a lie detector test. Despite this implicit admission and having insurance, the owner refused to reimburse and do the right thing. Stay far far away from this company unless you want your personal possessions to be stolen. read more

I was quoted $395 for the tile floors to be cleaned at my home. I received the email confirmation, with all of the areas noted on it. I then received a phone call from Fernando alerting me that the office where I scheduled, was the wrong location, so they still have me scheduled, but now it will be $540. Fine, whatever, their error, and my problem for not questioning it beyond that. Today was the day to have my tile floors cleaned. The technicians showed up on time; however, when they spoke to my husband about the cost, he stopped them and called me. I quickly phoned ALAN at Stanley Steemer who told me "You did not tell us you had 3 bathrooms and another living room". I said "I most certainly did, and now that I have you, what happened to my original quote of $395?!" He said "All calls are recorded, so let me go pull your call, and then I will call you back". At that time, my husband told the technicians to leave, we will not be needing the services any longer. I then received a call back from Alan, which I let go to voicemail. His voicemail said "Okay, I pulled the call, I'm sorry, but now it sounds like your husband told the guys to leave, give me a call back". Sounds like he pulled my call and I was right! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE CALL ON STANLEY STEEMER TO DO ANY WORK FOR US! Poor customer service & terrible communication! read more

Sat in the driveway for a half hour on the phones. Showed him a couple little spots to address before he cleaned complete up charge told me I needed this and that do not use these people terrible. These guys did an awesome job for such an affordable price! Called and got a $125 quote to clean a 5x7 area rug and 6 large patio cushions ($21/ sq ft for the rug and $15/ cushion). A team of 2 men came promptly at 8:30 am (window was 8-9:30) and brought all their equipment. They were able to clean all 6 cushions and the rug by 9 am. So quick! It wasn't an extremely aggressive attempt, but one of the men was trying to upsell me on some other services like grout cleaning/ color match etc. I didn't bite, until wait, you can clean my lanai!?! Yes please! They were able to squeeze me in and do it on the spot for just $87 more. So worth! I was dreading cleaning it myself. Everything looks great - not perfect, but great! Very happy with the service and will use again in the future. Ps- I called a couple places before Stanley and the other quotes I got were $100 for the rug with 5-7 day turnaround time from another local rug cleaner (wouldn't do cushions) and $60 per patio cushion at the dry cleaners! read more

I had 5 rugs cleaned, one sofa and grout tile in one bathroom. They were there for less then 2 hours. It's was over $3000. We have one rug that is now crunchy and has two huge dark blotches all over it. We have another rug (wool) that has a terrible stench and the rugs are only 8 months old. None of the spots that were on the rugs were removed. read more

Called last minute to schedule my carpets to be cleaned before I left tiwn for the holiday weekend.They were able to fit me in last minute.The crew came right on time.They did a great job on a few pet spots were my basset hound had an accident. They also cleaned a flight of stairs and at the last step where the carpet met the tile it came loose.I recieved a call after they had left ti ask about the service and i mentioned it to the lady.I was heading to the airport and didnt have time to address it then.I returned home a few days later and called and spoke with Allen.He came out that morning and fixed it like new.Really happy with these guys.Thanks read more

These people were horrible! I have never given a bad review on anything before, but this service was too terrible not to report. I would not want anyone to have to go through the afternoon we had with this company. They come in your house with the sole intention of ripping you off. I'm pretty sure they must work on commission. I told Matthew (the salesperson\carpet cleaner) I didn't want my cheap area rug cleaned bc it was 10 years old and cheap. He would not leave it at that. He said 10 years is not old for a rug, then continued pestering me about it and asked how much I paid. The whole visit was like that.. "You need to also do this to the rugs, you need to buy our cleaning product, not the one you use... etc.. etc". I looked at the invoice again today and he never subtracted the amt to clean that area rug from the invoice. Too bad for me, I already signed and paid for it because I just really wanted them to leave so I could find my cat that I thought escaped. They never bothered to tell us when they were going to open the doors leading outside, even after seeing our 70 pound greyhound walking around the house, so we had not yet secured our pets. As a result, we thought our kitten who is in heat for the first time escaped. She has an appt to get spayed in 3 days and we were concerned she might be outside looking to find some action and never come back. Luckily she was just hiding. Save yourself the hassle and money. The worst cleaning company I have ever experienced. Price on the phone was $400 and jumped to $840 when the guys showed up. Supposedly a carpet that isn't "wall to wall", even though there is only a 2 inch space between the carpet and wall, they measure it by the foot. They cleaned 2 bedrooms, without moving any furniture or doing a small closet area and 6 very small little area rugs and it ended up $450. Be prepared to pay a lot more and have the job sub par in quality. read more

I got estimates at dry cleaners and rug cleaners from online sources. I had much difficulty with OTHER carpet cleaners, getting a fair price for an area rug, 3.5x6 (21 sq. feet) with some spots. Stanley Steemer gave me a fair price over the phone, so I dropped off the rug, at the site right when they were cleaning the "room size" rugs (rather than wall to wall), I asked the desk site mgr. if he minded if I stayed to see if the spots would come out. No problem. I saw 2 men work to clean the spots with special solution, and clean the rest of the rug. They did a fantastic job for a more than fair price, cleaned immediatly, and dry by the next day for pick up. Thank you, gentlemen. I plan to have them clean my wall to wall rooms at home. read more

I used Stanley Steeler last season and was very disappointed. My rugs were soaking wet for 4 days and started to smell. They also cleaned my silk rug the same way as broadloom. My silk rug will never be the same. read more
