Over 3 weeks since owner came by to measure and discuss a remodeling job. He said he would get us a quote within a few days. He said the same thing a week after he came by. Nothing. Crickets. If a contractor can't keep his word on the the first thing he says he will do, you'd be an idiot to sign a contract and give him a down payment. read more

I hired Salvia tile who claimed to be a general contractor to do the rebuild of my condo after being destroyed in the hurricane . Worst mistake of my life ! Nothing but lies from the very beginning , shame on me for not firing them right away . After the hurricane you're not thinking straight. Never met a deadline . Never returned phone calls . Promised meetings were not attended. What work they did was subpar and I had to hire others to repair/complete . I'm posting this in hopes that no one else will ever go through what I did in the past 14 months . Still not finished , the people that I have hired now will finish out . And to top it off they are placing a lien on my property claiming I didn't pay them for the work that they did not do . After getting two over the top quotes on tile work, and kitchen and bath remodeling, I came across Salvia Tile and Stone. Upon visiting their showroom, we were warmly welcomed by Jeff who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of tile and cabinetry. Jeff then arranged to visit our home to take measurements and get an idea first hand of the work we wanted done. Jeff spent quite a bit of time with us and promised a quick turn around on the quote. When we got it, the quote was very reasonable and in line with what we expected when we started the process. I worked through some questions with Vince to finalize the deal and in fact, we decided to add work to our original plan! After working with Jeff on the final selection of finishes, the project was turned over to Kathi who is an exceptional project manager. We were back home in NJ during the project execution and Kathi kept us informed, called with questions and made us feel comfortable that the work was progressing as planned. She is a true pro. When we visited upon completion, everything was as promised, and a couple of punch list items were immediately taken care of. I cannot begin to tell you the trouble I had with contractors prior to finding Salvia...they have been fantastic! My husband and I live in Colorado and bought a condo in Naples that was built in 1981 and was very dated and in need of remodeling. We had to fire several contractors prior to finding Salvia. Salvia has remodeled our Kitchen-cabinets, granite, sink, and plumbing. Master Bath-tile shower, toilet, new vanity. Salvia's crew laid tile on the diagonal in the entire condominium and it is beautiful. This was a particularly difficult task because the floor was extremely uneven but it turned out beautiful because they had the talent on staff to do the job and took the additional time required to do it properly. They also installed a new vanity, granite and a new toilet in our guest bath. Salvia is organized, extremely professional and consistently have gone above and beyond in every way possible to make a daunting undertaking a pleasant experience. I needed help moving some furnishings around and help carrying some heavy items I had purchased up the stairs. I contacted my salesperson, Vince and asked if he had anybody free late in the day that could help for about an hour and I told him I would pay them for helping me out, sure enough they sent a couple of their workers over to help me. I think this is just amazing! Our salesperson, Vince, late one evening I might add, took delivery of our plumbing order and he and his son carried this very large order that the freight company would not assist in carrying up the stairs and into the condominium, in our absence while we were in Colorado. We had the condominium painted by another company and then decided we really disliked the color and Salvia is going to re-paint it for us in another color of our choosing. Please realize that most of this has taken place while we were in Colorado! Salvia provides superior service, communication, fair pricing and just overall in a country where, in my opinion, great service is practically non-existent they, quite simply go above and beyond! We will be singing their praises to anybody who will listen for many years to come. They are an amazing group of people who just make it happen and can be trusted to do what they are hired to do and do it with a high level of professionalism, commitment and integrity. read more

I found Salvia Tile & Stone on Yelp. Their entire staff was amazing to work with. Vince came to our home to check out what we wanted to have done. Within 2 days he had emailed us a bid for complete tile and carpet removal and master bathroom remodel. He followed up with us while we were waiting for other bids. When I went back in with a long list of questions, he answered everything we needed to know to hire them. Kathi and Vince were great at helping us make all our selections for tile, carpet and bathroom items. He let us know the time frames for the permits and work schedule. Each contractor they sent out did a fantastic job and cleaned up at the end. Anytime we called or emailed, we received a prompt response. We are now enjoying living in our updated home. I shopped around for contractors to do a major remodel on my house. I have lived in my home for 25 years and remodeled it 14 years ago; so I know how difficult living in a house while a remodel is taking place can be. I chose Salvia Tile and Stone to do my remodel because Vince and his staff seemed to be the most genuine and "real" people I came across during my search for a contractor. They said I could stay in my house during the remodel and they would do whatever was necessary to make me and my family comfortable. Also, them came in with a very competitive price. My remodel consisted of my master bedroom, closet and bathroom, pool bath, laundry room, living room and total redo on my pool area. The truth is you never know what you are going to get until it is underway and even then you never know how your contractor will treat you or react when a problem or difficulty occurs. I don't often write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for Vince and Salvia Tile and Stone because they not only did a great job from start to finish, they blew me away with their customer service and finished work. These guys put up a temporary separation wall between my remodel and where my family and I were still using the house. they also put in temporary portable air conditioners to make sure we were comfortable during the process. the rooms they did turned out to be better than my expectations. They finished the job early and actually did more then I contracted them for and did not charge me more money. It is almost impossible to find people like that these days. After I picked out my granite for my shower and vanity in my master bathroom, I waited too long to pull the trigger and when I finally made up my mind, the slabs I picked out were gone. I was so mad at myself for that stupid mistake. The only granite I could find that was similar was more expensive and a higher level granite and I did not want to go over budget. Salvia got that granite for me and installed it beautifully and did not charge me anything additional. That was over the top. I also asked them to do numerous additional little things along the way and they were always happy to do whatever I asked of them. I expected a big "additional work" invoice at the end of the job and it did not come. That kind of service and commitment to customer satisfaction is so rare. If you are planning a remodel, I recommend you give Vince and Salvia Tile and Stone an opportunity to bid. Once you meet these guys, and girls, you may find it hard to believe they are really as nice as they seem, but it's true. I can't recommend them strongly enough! I found Salvia on Yelp, so I want to add my own experience. I had been trying to get my kitchen updated and it was frustrating shopping around. Customer service seemed non existent at some places. I stopped in at Salvia without an appointment and was greeted warmly by Kathi. I found working with them very easy. Their prices were reasonable and they did a great job with granite countertops and backsplash tile. They went to extra trouble to make sure my choices for sink and faucet fit perfectly, even though I went a little overboard on sink size. They were in and out, cleaned up after themselves every day. Communication is very good, they keep you informed, show up on time and follow up after the job is finished. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends. read more

We had Salvia Stone remodel our bathroom which involved redesigning the area by knocking down walls and rebuilding sections of the room including removing soffits and moving the electrical outlets and switches. Not only is the quality of their workmanship excellent but it was so easy to choose tile and granite from a wonderful variety of samples. We couldn't be happier with the results. Salvia's tile guys are very talented. We renovated two bathrooms and the tile work is absolutely perfect. Their showroom has a huge selection and Kathi is great at helping with design.
