I HATE THEIR GOOFY ADS. There, got that out of the way. Showroom? FIVE STARS. Had lots of choices, and the salesperson was exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable. Estimating? Instantly got a price together for us, based on the drawings from our architect. Price was very fair. And no change to the price when installed. FIVE STARS Templating - Professional, did a nice job, also very pleasant to interact with, FIVE STARS. And most importantly - INSTALLATION - went great. Installers were polite, neat, courteous and did an excellent job. FIVE STARS. Now, I have to admit I was skeptical based on their silly TV ads, but the results speak for themselves. 100% recommend, especially my sales person, Nelson. Workmanship installing outdoor under-mount sink was improperly done causing it to fall pulling the plumbing loose. We were told they had used old used brackets initially. It had been past their warranty of one year so there was a charge to reinstall it. I went to their shop to make an appointment and was treated rudely and disrespectfully by an employee. I tried contacting Hugo Vargas, the owner, several times with no contact effort from him. The sink is reinstalled, with a charge, as they did not stand behind their poor initial workmanshipwork. read more

I took a friend to Rock Solid to pick out the style and color of countertops she wanted to put in the kitchen and bathrooms of her house that she was trying to sell. Rock Solid has a very large selection of tile products (stone, marble, granite, etc...) as well as selling some fixtures for houses. Service was good and the gentleman helping us seemed very knowledgeable on countertops. Pricing at Rock Solid was relatively decent. The kind gentleman who was helping us even worked with my friends to get the prices lowered. They have big slabs of tile inside and outside around the back of the building for people to see and use to determine what type/style they want. Horrible communication and customer service. First, their online ordering did not work repeatedly for me or Floor and Decor staff. Now, I have been waiting for 7 weeks to have someone measure for my countertops. One person came out 2 weeks ago. A cabinet broke the day before so he was not allowed to complete measurments even though that cabinet's countertop was in one piece. The cabinet was fixed the next day. I called to let them know the cabinet and countertop were now repaired and was told me measuring would be expedited. That was 2 weeks ago. My customer service rep will NOT return phone calls. I started this process 8 weeks ago in preparation for a family wedding that is 5 weeks from now. Still no contact from Rock Solid. AVOID THEM!! I told the gentleman about it and he stated it was not granite. So false advertising, when I tried to explain it to him where I found it on their website he hung up. As with the case with another customer, post installation they tried to charge more than the signed agreement. Templated tops with owner Hugo. Asked that if any price changes would occur due to the layout please have the salesman let me know. If that was the case I would have selected a lower cost slab. Didn't hear anything further....until install day when after completion they had the installer submit an invoice for a balance due for a greater amount then the contract. (and the stated allowance) They require full payment prior to fabrication which was given. I told him to have the salesperson/Hugo to call me to discuss. Never heard anything so assumed resolved on their end.... now, 2 years later, sending a certified letter still looking for payment. Unscrupulous practices. I have used them in the past and was very pleased then. Never again. read more

I heard great things about this business and even decided to go with them despite a lower quote from another. I have to say I am disappointed. The job was scheduled, then rescheduled due to an "accident." That can be understood, but when they did come they only did half the installation and had to return to do the other half. Ok. That can be explained. Maybe. But the installed quartzite was not polished. It felt rough to the touch , like a coarse scouring pad. The underneath felt smoother than the top. I called and spoke with Fernando who said he will need to speak to someone else. This is very frustrating given the multiple delays, the workmanship and the poor communication. I'm waiting for this to be fixed as it should and hope to review positively later. For now, a big disappointment. read more

We went to rock solid and picked out the three slabs of quartzite for our kitchen and put 50% down to reserve them 3 months in advance of actually needing them when it came time to review the actual counter layout on the slabs, there was only a partial piece of one of the three slabs left. We were told we could pick out other slabs and my wife found some she liked. When the counters were fabricated and delivered to the house, one was cracked. The installers said they could fix it but I refused to have it installed and required a replacement. One of installers said they would just take someone else's slab to fabricate the replacement piece we needed. My wife likes the end product, but don't expect to get the slabs you originally picked. read more

Rock Solid Countertops was horrible. We picked the slab/sinks and presented them with the layout (exact measurements). While away we asked for a few small pieces to be added to the cut sheet and they agreed. We paid an additional amount without question. Upon installation, kitchen sink was incorrect, kitchen sill was not there, and additional pieces agreed to were not there. We were told they could not get us matching pieces because slab was thrown away. We had to almost harass them for weeks just to get the additional pieces of any kind. After everything was installed the sink is actually rusting. We requested they come to replace the sink but instead they have coated it. We shall see if that works. If not it is getting replaced. read more

We got prices for a new Granite countertop from Home Depot and Lowes where the prices seemed very high, the selection was minimal and we were choosing from little tiny samples. Then a friend recommended Rock Solid. We stopped by their showroom which was easy to find as they have hundreds of full size slabs out front. We now had a chance to pick the exact piece of Granite that we were looking for. The salesman Jose V. was fantastic. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. Evan as we walked back and forth a dozen times trying to choose the color we liked. I showed up with my measurements and Jose was able to come back with a price that was half of what Home Depot wanted and he included the sink. We were leaving Naples the next day so we asked about scheduling since we needed to get a friend to let them in. Jose was able to give us the exact date one week later that they would be out to make the template and then the date that the installers would come which was one week after that. I could not believe that they were there when they said the would be and everything went exactly as planned. My friend sent me photos and the countertop looks great. It fit like a glove. He said they template guys and installers were prompt, and professional. He was very impressed how the whole process went and that he will make sure to recommend Rock Solid to anyone he knows that is looking for a new countertop. The photos look great and we cannot wait to return to Naples to see it. (I am not including photos since we are doing lots of other work in the kitchen and it still a construction zone.) The price ended up being exactly what Jose quoted us. No hidden fees or sudden extra costs. Then I get a call from Mark who wants to follow up and make sure that everything went alright and that we are satisfied with our purchase. He made sure to let us know that when we return to Naples if there is anything we are not satisfied with to contact him and he would do whatever he could to make us happy. What a great experience. Price ok Delivery told 4 weeks normal shutters 6 weeks for the arches Actual delivery 11 weeks normal shutters 13 weeks arch shutters Attempts to get the job done 5 ! Sales person tried to over charge for a shutter HE missed ! Also missed an arch , another charge ? Three attempts to get the correct swing on a particular shutter ! Job done , sales person wanted instant payment , I asked for an invoice , he sent me a text !!!! Then after all of their delays , accused me of messing HIM around . BUYERS BE CAUTIOUS!!!!!!!!! I have used Rock Solid before and they were great!! I don't know what happened in the last 3 yrs but they had a 360 change. Hugo was good at making the deal,however, after signing the order it was a a different story. He promised to send 1) cleaner for my stainless steel sink 2) samples of my 2 choices when the template was being done. Well template guy had no idea of anything. Called Hugo and he was no where to be found. Went up to company to look at the stone and Hugo...no where to be found. Left message to call...never heard. Counter tops went in ok but never received cleaner...called Hugo ...no where to be found. Received a call from Mark Customer service manager. I've waited several weeks since my countertops were installed before posting this review. On the plus side, the selection was great and the price fair. It was downhill from there. What was promised to be a 1 1/2 day installation took over two weeks. The company has been overbooked and the staff worked late. A morning appointment didn't start till 5PM when only minor work could be done. I was actually told that they were jammed and could not fulfill appointments or work in a timely manor. Although I gave them a sink we purchased so the kitchen countertop cold be properly cut, they cut for one of their standard sinks. As a result the piece had to be recut and instead of getting a below counter sink, our sink now sits on top of the countertop. They neglected to cut our very expensive quartzite counters for installation around our tub in the bathroom. Consequently, the master bath looks completely unmatched. Any time I spoke to the company regarding time or delivery, I was literally lied to. HUGO the owner, actually came by to apologize and promise some type of compensation, bragging about how close he was to the owner of Andre's steakhouse. He too turned out to be a liar. Work is compIeted and I am left with an unsatisfactory result plus damage to my staircase after the installers dropped heavy quartzite. This is a company that admitted it was overbooked and unable to do a job as promised. I certainly would not recommend using them. And HUGO, shame on you!!! read more
