Lowe's is a good store to shop in, it's clean with a great selection of everything from appliances, ceiling fans and garden supplies. The staff knows their stuff, they always ask if you need anything and they often help with finding items. Customer service is good, if you need a return, the process is fast and easy as long as you bring a receipt. Prices are competitive and the selection is good, after all, Lowe's is a big store. If a handyman sends me there for supplies, I can always ask the guys in the store if I can't locate a #9 x 1-1/2 in deck screw. Kudos to these hard working and knowledgeable employees, if they don't know, they will look it up on their phones. Lowe's is in a good location and parking is easy. This is a low stress store to shop in, and I'll be back soon. read more

I am a disabled veteran and I tried to buy a rubber sleeve for under the bathroom sink pipes and was told at checkout that by the lazy female working at self checkout that I had to walk back to the plumbing isle and take a picture of the box. I told her that AJ from plumbing helped my find it and I didn't know what box it came from and she said I still had to walk back. I began to let her know how ridiculous it was that they didn't have a radio or a phone they could ask AJ about the item with and then a Spanish checkout supervisor said I had to walk back to the isle or I could leave without buying the item. The first delivery had to be sent back because they tried to pass off a piece of merchandise that had rust and water in it and we were like I don't think so. Take it back. The second delivery came. The People had no idea how to even remove a pipe to connect a hose. They were stupid uninterested and unhelpful. It wasn't for my husband. This unit would not even be connected right. The customer service department is pathetic. When they're about to put you on hold you can hear them laughing. After 30 minutes, I finally spoke with someone about my complaint. I bought a hot water tank and paid $80 for delivery. Delivery arrived minus the aluminum pan. I had arranged for a plumbing company to install everything on the following morning. I asked the delivery guys to call Lowes and figure something out. They said "that's not my job". We are 3rd party delivery and don't work directly for Lowes. Then he said that if I wasn't happy they could put everything back on the truck and I could deal with Lowes directly. I told him that I paid for the tank and delivery and that the product was not leaving my garage in no uncertain terms. Then they used the proverbial "my English not so good". Then I kicked them off my property. I called Lowes on Tamiami and they said my complaint is with the delivery service and not them even though they didn't provide the aluminum pan. We had to attend Lowes personally to pick up the pan. There are more tools behind the counters than in the aisles. So fed up with their colossal screwups. I'll never trust them again. read more

My aunt and I went here to purchase a new fridge, microwave, and stove/oven. We had a quote that we got from Lowe's about a month ago that had expired. They were willing to honor the quoted price, but Joy made it seem like she was doing us such a big favor for taking our money. My aunt asked specifically if everything was in stock and if it could be delivered in the next 48 hours. Joy said, "Yes" to both questions. I personally did not appreciate her side comments and eye rolls, but my aunt was willing to let them go because Joy promised that the appliances would be delivered on Friday. Joy said someone would call the next night and that weun should have everything by the day after that. Unfortunately, no one ever called us. When we called the phone number Joy gave us, we were told it was not the correct number for appliance delivery. Instead, there was another number we should have called. When we contacted the new number we were told that items were not in stock and we would not get anything for another week. We immediately said we wanted to cancel the entire order. We went back to Lowe's in person to make sure that the order was canceled. We asked to speak to a manager so that we could tell them about the wrong number. Neither the employees nor the manager were interested. Even when I said that I didn't appreciate Joy's attitude toward my elderly aunt, no one seemed interested. I think this is a terrible store with employees who need remedial training on customer service. Each time we were assured it would absolutely be here. The delivery team showed up they had the washer with dryer parts. No dryer and no washer parts. I'm finding that Lowes is a slightly better store compared to home depot. In general supply and appearance. The plumbing department is well organized and neat. It's not as crowded and, right across the street is a big outdoor bar so after shopping you can get a bite to eat and something to wash it down with a beverage. They also have a costco here but I would rather have my nails trimmed by hungry rats, than deal with crowds of lazy, cheap, sample hoarding idiots of Naples. I have bought all my appliances at Lowes for many years w no problems. I ordered and paid for washer/dryer January 10 2023 ($1,700). The first was delivered w a broken door. Though I could have repaired it myself, I was advised the warranty would not be valid if I accepted it. The Second was delivered w an unusual plug WHICH I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT. In fact, the salesman even sold me the standard 3 prong cord. I refused the second washer as was advised. I was told Lowes would keep 'my' washer at their warehouse until I got an electrician which was 4 days later. A $250 electrician bill later, I'm told numerous different stories from I could get my washer delivered quickly to Lowes had to reorder because mine was "gone" and "no longer available". Spent time in the gardening and plant section. Nothing was properly labeled. Most of the plants were disorganized and not property labeled- a lot of the partial sun plants were in the full plants section. No one was helpful- the first person we asked for assistance told us he was new and that he couldn't help us find a plant without seeing it first, the second person said they didn't work in that department and then told us they would get us help (but never did), and the third person said they were only a cashier and couldn't help us at all, and they told us to talk to the first gentlemen because he was the most knowledgeable. I bought a dishwasher and refrigerator for my office. They came to deliver the refrigerator it was damaged so they returned it came back a week later with another one. The second one had a dent on the side. The delivery people scraped my exit door and damaged the door handle. They left a mess in my parking lot. They did not say anything. They just left as fast as they could. I went to Lowes that evening and met with a manager. Never heard back after a week. Went back spoke with the same person she did not remember then found my info said she would get back on Monday. Did not hear from her Tuesday so I called corporate. The corporate got had a person contact me about three days later to work on getting my door damage fixed. I had to get an estimate then sent it to them. I had to follow up with them again to make sure they got it. They did. Still waiting on approval for my estimate. Still dis not hear back on my refrigerator (4 weeks into this). Called corporate they could not reach a manager said they would have them call me by the next day. Two more days still nothing. I am tired. Word for the wise dont buy anything fromLowes unless you can take it in your vehicle. I think I am going to just get a refund and go elsewhere for a refrigerator if they dont solve by Monday. In November I ordered cabinets (86,000 dollars) they finally delivered in February of 2023. Wrong sizes, wrong styles and 2 were broken. No apologies, just reorder the broken ones AND PAY FOR THEM. Then they will issue a credit???? Ok, so we do. 4 weeks later, still no kitchen sink or correct door replacements but pantry cabinets are here at store if you can have someone pick up. So I hire someone to pick up cabinets when he arrives Lowes fork lift driver drops pallet in store and breaks Cabinets.... Everyone (manager and sales person) sees this and still sends them out to me. Doesn't check anything or alert me. I call 4 times to speak with manager only to sit on hold for over an hour no one answers. I come to the store to speak with someone no managers are available. They're all in a meeting so I come back the next day and the day after that only to receive no help!!
