I go to that store often. When I walk in I am usually met my a staff member. I tell them what I want or what i think I want. They take me to the isle where i find what i need If i am not sure what i need i tell them what i want to do, and they help me figure out how to do it. Great friendly staff. read more

Called to verify key cutting service for a vehicle. I get there after 25min drive and manager Betty, will not cut the key. I was willing to pay the cost for the service. Very rude and unhelpful! I do not recommend!! read more

Karen Gomez is an amazing customer service helper!! She assisted my boyfriend and we wanted to show her off and give her recognition for going above and beyond! You have an amazing staff member keep her read more

Wow, what a change in pace from my recent visit to the new Home Depot on Three Oaks Parkway. I went in for mailbox keys as HD employees were useless as per my post of today. Employees greeted me, took me back to the key station. Made my keys. On the way out I noticed the depth of products they offer and wound up buying some additional items. The check out lady was great. All employees were helpful and friendly. From now on we will go here. Customer service is the key. Their prices seem in line with most places so if even they are higher on some things, getting the help and advice is so well worth it vs dealing with unengaged employees at the new HD. read more

Always go out of their way to make your trip to Ace a happy one. No other local stores have their level of customer service. A great experience read more

Just got back home after being at Sunshine Ace Hardware. Supervisor Frank there went way out of his way to help me. And I learned a lot from him in a short time. I am still in a happy state thinking about how many mistakes he saved me from making on this project I am finally getting around to do, given quarantine. Thank you folks!! read more

Yes, u might pay a lil more, but it's the ol story of convenience. I don't believe there is a friendlier store in the county. And if they stock it, they find it for u! Check it out for ur self & let me kno. read more

Came in early for a couple tools and was yelled out by an employee instead of be explained to nicely that they were not open yet. In my opinion that is bad customer service. read more

I have been consistently going to sunshine Ace here in San Carlos for months. They have the friendliest staff and are very helpful. Gary and Chase in specific are quick to give advice for all of our projects. Wendy at the register always has a smiling face and we always enjoy our experience at this store. I highly recommend this place! read more

There are several Ace Harwares in this area. They are not a chain, each one is independent. This is a rather large store, with a huge variety of items, including yard, garden, fishing gear, clothing, and holiday decorations. Friendly & helpful. read more

Good old fashioned hardware service. Staff is very attentive, helpful & knowledgeable. Every time I go in, they are there to help me find what I need with several options available. Sign up in the store to get coupons from them in the mail :) read more

We have to travel much further than we would to our local Lowes but we do because 1) these folks really are friendly 2) they know their merchandise 3) they have stuff I need (hose extender today) that the big box stores don't4) their keys work the first time so there are no return trips. Worth the drive. read more

I don't know where these others have shopped. Can't be in the same Ace that I have been more times than I can count I have always found them to be extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable . I shopped Ace in PA and they were as good as good can be. read more

Everyone that works there is kind & eager to make my shopping experience a pleasant one; however Gary is the best! He is very knowledgeable on each & every dept. in the store. He always has the answer on the part(s) I need for a repair or a project I want to work on. His advice is wonderful! I always hope he's working when I go to Sunshine Ace in the park. read more

The staff is not helpful, when looking for items. The employees would rather continue their conversations with each other, and point to an aisle for me to find whatever items I needed during each visit. It's a shame because I work less then a mile from this location, and I'll drive up to Home Depot to get what I need. read more

This place is the worst example of a community business! Pulled in there tonight at 7:02pm, realizing that they close at 7pm. I saw a couple employees closing the front door, and getting ready to leave. I ran up to the door explaining that I have an EMERGENCY and that my house had a real bad leak and I only needed 1 plumbing fitting, when "rat" I believe his name to be, tells me " sorry, they're is nothing we can do" and locks the door and leaves, pointing me to the nearest Home Depot location. I can only hope this review falls into the owner of this ace hardwares location. As they are independently owned. The whole point of ace hardware is to be a "convenient" hardware store. That's why you pay more than you do at the big box hardware stores. and secondly, it's supposed to be a friendly/ caring type of hands on store! You really need to train your employees to be more customer friendly, and not worry so much about running out the door at 7 on the dot! Will NEVER shop here again. This is why your losing to Home Depot! read more

The helpful hardware man told me if this primer bulb don't fit bring it back. I returned with it unopened and was told " no refunds on hurricane purchase, i use that saw all year , they can reassign my cust number and rewards card I d number I definitely don't need those anymore read more

Just went to Sunshine Ace Hardware to return (2) 5 gallon "Sunshine Logo" pails, was told no returns due to the hurricane. I was not trying to return a generator, gas cans etc. but their logo'd pails. Obviously, they should be able to re-sell these pails. You are way better off shopping at Lowes/Home Depot. They take your money but also return you money. Guess I won't be making a RETURN visit to Sunshine Ace Hardware. read more

Wife and I stopped in to get info on Weber grills as our 10 1/2 year old Weber was starting to have serious rusting issues on the legs. Was planning to shop around at Ace, Lowes and Home Depot for best price and service. Ace sales staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, professional and gave us a very competitive price with free delivery & setup=we purchased our grill without ever going to Lowes or Home Depot. Note: this is the 3rd Weber we have purchased from Ace over the last 25 years and have been very satisfied with our dealings at their San Carlos Fl location. Thanks guys!! read more
