I just came from the floor and decor in Fort Myers on Cleveland Avenue and have never been treated so rudely. A younger girl came over to help us and was elderly woman came up to ask her if she needed help which we did not. she proceeded to help us and told us that we had to pay for a shipping charge because they don't ship it to the store because they have no trucks so we had to pay $249 and then she told me she doesn't take military discount and I told her I just came from the one on and they always take veterans and apply discounts. She told me that it depends on the manager running each store that they do not. I could understand they have choice of preference, but I am not happy about how currently she was to us, and unfriendly. I will not be visiting that store again. Spent a lot of money on porcelain, tile, supplies, etc. one piece of porcelain was with a hairline crack and I went back to the store to replace the one defective piece. The store manager REFUSED to find the matching 24x48 piece of porcelain (rest of purchased porcelain already installed on the wall) No refund on defective piece. Then he said I will only open one more box (2 pieces to a box and that's it) - I DON'T CARE IT DOES NOT MATCH - YOU WILL TAKE ONE FROM WHAT I OPENED (3) AS I CANT OPEN ANOTHER BOX TO SEE IF THE NEXT ONE IS A MATCH. Really -?very rude and I told him it won't match and will throw off the entire room - he did not care. Do not buy from this company at the Ft MYERS location. If you have a problem and get a defective piece - no refund and you just take whatever even if it does not match the pattern. The manager has ZERO interest in customer satisfaction. read more

I've never experienced such an unprofessional and uncommunicative transaction. Went to the store specifically to shoot sure a smooth transaction picked out all tile that was in stock purposely to avoid any issues scheduled delivery, which was scheduled for Thursday Rated around all day for my Thursday delivery, only to be told after I called that we would not be receiving our delivery Their claim was the material was not in stock, although I purposely verified in store and stock items specifically to avoid any issues Was advised material will go out on Friday Again waited around delivery driver shows up at 7:25 PM with a quarter of the material order Material was delivered by an F150, which would could clearly not carry all the material in its bed for two bathrooms complete tile Very unprofessional and unresponsive Hope this information gets leadership team to help this location To improve its customer service and communication read more

This review is for countertops. There is a nonrefundable fee for measurement, which is then removed from the final price. This seems reasonable enough. The reality is when they come to measure, and do a good job, they want to be paid in full to begin, no deposit accepted. When we researched for reviews, we only found mentions in Texas. We live in Florida. The company doing the job is a nationwide company. There is no other company Floor and Decor uses. Who hires a contractor, with no known references, and pays in full? Also, if we wanted to buy the material, and get out our own installer, all we have to go with is a tiny 4x4 piece of material to judge the whole slab, for the one we liked. So I would not recommend using Floor and Decor Installers. If they had told us up front we had to pay in full, we never would have paid the nonrefundable fee. read more

On May 25, 2023, I went to floor and decor to look for some tiles I had ordered about a month during the construction of my bathroom. I needed to order two more boxes of tiles that were not in stock in the Fort Myers Floor&Decor store; the shade and the grade number did not match after several attempts with other associates in that area that would be unable to help me. Jeff at the counter cashier counter asked me if I needed any help. Jeff immediately called several other stores, which took about half an hour per store in Naples and two other stores in Sarasota. Jeff assured me that he would give the information to his manager so they can order me two boxes which will take about 7 to 10 business days after the order is put in, possibly by tomorrow, Jeff did a fantastic job even though he had to wait for a very long time to get associates at the other stores to find the tiles and the information Jeff has excellent customer service. When we walked into Floor and Decor I was immediately struck with the amount of people employed and how many people were mowing around in the store I was truly impressed. Also right as we were walking around we had several employees come up to us and ask us if they could help us. We spent about an hour and a half to two hours looking around picking out different tile and wood floor for a renovation project. All the employees were very helpful however the one thing that I was a little bit disappointed on which is the reason for the four star are not a five star was the fact that and the cadres chairs they were several people waiting and they were only one kadra opened Even though there were a lot of employees walking around. Second in the design area we had the hunt someone down for the design area and that was a little disappointing too. Other than that people were very helpful and we even asked to take a few samples or buy a few samples and they were very accommodating and helping us with that. On one occasion they had to shut down the aisle that we were shopping on and they apologize profusely and you could tell they definitely cared about customer service. I would definitely advise anyone that's looking for tile wood floor or other bathroom and kitchen cabinets and surfaces to check out Floor and Decor! read more

Love the store and Miss Diane but will never go back... and we just recently spent about $10k here... never again! A person named Ana made sure I knew her position as front line manager, in a very rude and nasty tone. One register was open with a line of about 8 customers waiting to check out. At the time, I did not know her name... now, I know it's Ana. Ana decides to have someone open another register and announces for the next person in line to come to the newly opened register. Well, the actual next person had a large push cart weighted down so declined to move so he motioned for the person behind him. She proceeds over... I was directly behind her... so to help clear the walk way, I followed her over to this newly opened register... my thought was to clear the front end major thruway. There were still 4 or 5 more customers behind me and several of us had already had to get out of the way to let people by that were still shopping. I wasn't jumping ahead of anyone, I wasn't even in a hurry... just thought about helping shorten the really long line that was blocking shoppers. Ana decides to yell at me, "get back in line... I will call you if I want you to come over". Her tone was rude and loud. I immediately bounced back over, of course with a shocked look on my face... other customers in front and behind me all looked just as surprised... we all made shocked facial expressions and shrugged our shoulders. After the newly opened register was finished with the one customer, the original line had still not moved. So, Ana then proceeds to call the next customer... that would have been me... oh, so now Ana wants me over where I tried to go to start with. I declined... and told the next person behind me that they could go. I then announced that I would wait in the original line, all day long before I would go over there, now. Everyone smiled and giggled. Within about 5 mins or so, it was now my turned to be checked out. As he is checking me out, the cashier asked in a very nice and pleasant way, why I had not wanted to be checked out at the other register. Clearly, he was doing his job and missed the whole Ana incident. So, I proceeded to tell him that the woman over there was really loud and rude to me. I then realized he thought I meant the cashier... so, I said... oh no, not her... but her and pointed at Ana. I now can see her name tag because she has walked over to let me know and everyone else in line to hear her say and I quote, "I AM THE FRONT LINE MANAGER AND MY JOB IS TO TELL YOu WHERE TO GO". I just calmly said,"it was your tone and you are still talking loud and rudely. She then repeats that she is front line manager... and I said again... why the attitude? And I kid you not, she repeats 4 times that she is the front line manager... I finally just said... please, just shut up, already. And walked out. I know times are tough for businesses to get and keep staff but to have to keep people that are rude to customers doesn't make good business sense. Customers is how the staff gets paid and trust... Ana will be a problem for other customers. Clearly, her position has gone to head. read more

Stay away! Their customer service was horrible. They gave me broken and cracked merchandise. They gave me the runaround on a delivery date for the replacement sink. I submitted a form on their website and never heard back from them. Then when the sink finally came in the person notify me argued with me and then hung up. read more

I was shopping for floor tile at the Ft Myers Florida location today and and was appalled at the behavior of the design consultant. His name was Greg and he was rude and not helpful at all. In fact, after telling us to look down one aisle he led us down another aisle and told us to speak with one of the floor staff. I didn't get her name she was very helpful. She directed us to another area when I told her I did not want polished tile. It was there that "Terry" a very nice young man assisted us. He showed us some very nice options and helped us finalize our choice. While waiting on line there was a couple behind me who experienced Greg's rudeness. He said to them " can you move that cart back" in a very nasty manner. I would definitely recommend the store and the floor staff but not him!!! read more

This has been an absolute nightmare dealing with this store! I purchased more than $8500 in tile and marble. Daily I called regarding my order status and delivery. At no time during my purchase was I told that delivery was curb side delivery. Floor and Decor took my order, promised timely delivery, and sold me more than $8500 of product, Today I went to the store personally to find out what was going on with my products and to obtain specs regarding product for my HOA. The staff member stated that they were in store and we could schedule delivery. I reviewed order and verified address. Then, they informed me for the salefirst that delivery was curbside only. I live in a 20th floor condominium with an elevator directly to my unit. I tried to speak with Liz the manager and Ed the Regional manager they were entirely unhelpful and preferred losing the $8500 than solving the delivery issue. With 2 hours left to my flight back to Boston I canceled the order. I can not believe the lack of skill of the two managers or their inability to problem solve and take responsibility for this issue. Cari- thanks for your time something tells me if you were the Regional Manager you would have solved this problem quickly. With 35 years as an administrator, I would have paid the delivery charge with even a private company and not have allowed a customer who made a $8500 purchase to leave my store unsatisfied! I can not recommend this store or their level of customer service. Update to Review This has been a bumpy ride, but I have to give credit to Liz the manager for working with my parents, identifying more than a $4,000 error in charges, and arranging for delivery today to my condominium unit. It is clear that the store needs more attention to customer service, but she has worked closely with my parents to fix the many errors and move this matter in a positive direction. Today my materials will be delivered with a reasonable extra charge to my condominium. For this reason, I am updating my review and raising the score from a one to a three. Very disappointed when I tried to return two unopened bags of mortar. When I purchased these with several others I asked the cashier about returns and she said its in the system and I could return what I didn't use. No mention of 90 Day limit. My mistake that I didn't read the small print. I'm a do it yourself person and the guy that I had to track down on the sales floor couldn't give any coverage info, so I made sure to buy enough plus extra if I needed it. I tiled my whole house room by room. I feel that this 90 day policy stinks for in stock items because not everyone can do a project full time and it can take over 90 days to finish. Of course we bought all of the tile at once so it didn't get discontinued and become unavailable which has happened with F&D in the past. Bottom line this is NOT a customer friendly policy for do it yourself people. I have also learned not to expect customer service besides being checked out here. read more

Need to start off by saying how shocked I am by the poor customer service in this flooring place. I live in Chicago and came down to fix my condo, a friend of mine recommended to come to this store where I could find nice tile for my bathrooms. I came in today, I had a few things in mind from what I saw online I asked the lady in the register if she can guide me to find a 12x12 glass tile, she points to the back of the store and tells me it should be there, I went to the aisle she pointed but could not find where it was at, I walk around to find some help and there are 3 ladies standing in the middle of the aisle clowning around Laughing one of them had a vest on so I believe they were employees. There's others walking past you and can't offer any assistance it's unbelievable there's a lot of young kids who work here but have no work ethic it's pathetic! I ended up leaving I was not satisfied with this customer service, Everyone ignores you and keep walking past you. WHAT A SHAME! Don't waste your time here. read more

By all appearances, they were understaffed for how busy it was. Even still, the customer service given by Ryan was second to none. He was extremely efficient at his job and was able to save us from what would have probably taken us hours to accomplish: ordering tiles to be picked up from another location. So not only does this place have an incredible variety the prices are unbeatable! But the best part is that you CAN NOT beat the customer service. I have been in many of the home improvement stores and we all know you can never find any help. I didn't have to ask for help here, they approached me and that is something that is a rarity unless someone is working on commission ( and they don't here). Mo went WAY above and beyond scouring the store to find an item for me. I just can't say enough how impressed I was. Brandon, the manager, was very informative, approachable and friendly and we even had an employee come and give us bottled water as he saw we had been waiting while Mo looked for the item. The new trainee was very nice ( sorry I can not remember her name) but she was able to witness Mo's exceptional customer service. Rarely do I review a store just because of their customer service but I am on this one. The icing on the cake is that their variety and value is also top notch!
