The sales rep was good at assisting me in my choices for product for Our new home. Price matched several i liked from other stores And everything arrived in a timely manner. My major concern, after spending around $6,000, is lack of customer service with missing/wrong components sent from manufacturer on three lights. She was adamant they would not do anything that it was my responsibility to content the manufacturer. I then asked to speak to store manager and he reiterated the same song and dance. Inconceivable to me that you do not try to help your customer - the customer that bought in your store, not directly from a manufacturer Which can happen and will with the other four remaining items I need. I won't ever buy from Lighting First again. Consider your purchases wisely, there are others that appreciate your business. read more

They used to be great but I was there the other day and a lady at the desk was nasty to me plus She was supposed to email a similar fan as I bought before that was discontinued so I could buy 3 more for my new house but she never followed through. I actually ordered our lights online since I couldn't make it to the store. We received the lights within a week and everything was great and well packaged preventing any damage in transit. My mother and I went here searching for several lighting fixtures for her new house. I would say we were in the store for about 40 minutes discussing different options and admiring all the unique lighting. From the moment we entered to the time we left not ONE person acknowledged our existence. There were several employees at the front counter and a couple employees on the floor including a sales person who was clearly busy with a client and decorator. Not one of these people looked our way. I honestly felt like I must be invisible because there's no way all these people could be so rude. We loved several of the fixtures but decided to purchase elsewhere. The one star is for the beautiful and unique inventory only. Would never go back!!!! read more

Today 7/18/2022 at 5:34 pm I stopped at Burger king of Labelle and it would be the first and last time , horrible service , serving the fries without gloves, no face mask , no hair net , no condiment, disgusting place. Was in today and found a picture and a chandelier we wanted. My mom and I stayed about 35 mins and I was carrying around the picture I wanted. Understandably the sales associates were busy. But even after looking at us and knowing we were looking for help, they simply ignored us. A simple "hello" and saying they were busy and would be with us shortly would have been nice. I left without the picture and left without anyone acknowledging us. Shameful customer service. I would have waited if acknowledged. Bought a new fan, Assembled it, wired it and tested. The fan would not run in low only high and it would move back-and-forth and then run for about a min and then slowly come to a stop. I called the store and they had my try to program the control and that did nothing. Then they wanted to charge $119 dollars to come fix it. I took the fan back got my money back and they were not in any way helpful or sorry for any inconvenience. Horrible customer service. I bought the same style fan elsewhere for half the price. I am glad it didn't work. read more

We purchased three Minka ceiling fans over four years ago. Beautiful store and wonderful staff. Excellent service, prompted this review today. Hats off to Kevin who was courteous, professional and quick to solve our fan problem. He knew which part was faulty from our phone conversation. Kevin saved us a service call after I picked up the replacement part, ( no charge), with installation instructions. My husband, an electrical engineer, completed the job. Success! I wanted to call out the outstanding selection, service and installation of our new lighting fixtures. We had just moved here from California and were remodeling a home we purchased. We needed several new fixtures in our bathrooms, kitchen, dining room and entry. The staff at LP was very helpful in providing us advice on how to light the rooms, how many lumens were needed to provide sufficient light. They were patient and willing to research and help us make the right decisions. Bottom line we love our lights, the install went flawless and they even arrived when they said they would. read more
