Lighting First in Fort Myers is my go to for lighting and fans. Building a house during the pandemic had its challenges. Despite being at a distance in the northeast, Kevin Dodd was terrific in assisting and facilitating. He went above and beyond to ensure my interests were addressed, helping to identify the perfect lighting and fan products. Kevin assessed what was needed, elicited info to identify preferences, then walked through possible interests while we simultaneously narrowed down selections - all via phone and email correspondence. He went to great lengths to take smart phone videos of items of interest as some were hard to appreciate in pictures. Kevin demonstrated a true desire to inform about different products/lines and support the most optimal experience even during unprecedented times. No pressure, highly competitive pricing (without asking) and no shipping charges. Purchases arrived in mint condition and timely. Very pleased with the varied selections made, two of which were island pendants and coordinating accent lights - favorite recommendations of Kevin's. These lights are absolutely stunning, real show stopping pieces that in pictures looked plain Jane. Modern glass pieces that appear like expensive crystal, elegant yet fit in a casual atmosphere. Thanks Kevin for making a difference! Always a great experience with Lighting First but this time was above and beyond!! read more

Fantastic selection of lights and fans. My wife and I wanted something more original than a product from a big box store. We were helped by Todd, he was very informative and helpful in selecting a ceiling fan and lights. Todd spent a lot of time showing us different fans and the differences between them. We never felt rushed or pressured by the sales staff. We walked out with the perfect fan and lights, and best of all at a very reasonable price. read more

I recently purchased my third fan from Lighting First in Fort Myers. The sales assistance was extremely helpful each time, but the after sale technical help I received from Todd was outstanding! He identified the 5-yr old remote ceiling controller as the likely problem source, and provided a replacement which solved the problem. Sales support and service post-sale are the reasons for me to recommend Lighting First. Thank you, Mike M. read more
