I usually don't complain, but I could have done a better job myself, and did because I had to clean areas they missed. Just know, if they do steps, they don't clean outside the banister. And if they do your leather, they don't put up the leg rest, they don't clean underneath, they missed spots I had to point out, and they were in an out in less than an hour for a sofa, love seat and carpeted stairs. Also, do not tip unless it is in cash (if you are happy with your service). The person they sent told me they take the tip if you add it to your credit card. REALLY, SS???? The techs were very polite, but I wouldn't pay over $310 for this ever again. Also add that Steve (the general manager) called me back and made me feel like a criminal because I wanted a refund on my sofa and love seat. He asked me why I called for service if I was going to do it myself. He also asked to have the two techs come back to verifiy that they didn't do a great job after I'd already cleaned it myself. Then he told me to use another service in the future. DONE! My daughter said his employees probably don't care about the job they do because they don't give them their tips? Corporate greed at its finest. He did agree to give me back the money for only my sofa. All I wanted was for them to be fair about the subpar service, and Steve had to belittle me. Even though they did an excellent job in cleaning my floors, the prices that they charge were totally exorbitant. I know they quoted $145 for a room but the what they considered a room was a joke. They walked into my house to a small foyer and small hall and considered that two rooms my eat in kitchen where there was a large table which they could not move because it was heavy so the only thing they cleaned was a 18 inch space on each side of the table. I believe that they mislead you on what was considered a room and the size has no justification to a room. They say that a room is 300 ft.². Well my kitchen is maybe 150 ft.² in the dining area that they clean was probably 40 ft.² but they considered each one of these a room so in essence they told me that it would take 45 minutes to clean they did it in less than 20 but granted they did a good cleaning job but their pricing for what they did is absolutely ridiculous read more

Did not clean carpet. Unprofessional and rude. I was so disappointed, I had worked for 2 days to remove the furniture so that it would ensure a good cleaning. He told me that the stains I pointed out font come out. After they left I got stains out myself with water. Im still scrubbing on my hands and knees days later! This business is more interested in selling deodorizer and protection than actually cleaning. Worst experience ever with carpet cleaning. Save your money! Go with another company. We had Stanley Steemer come to clean our basement carpet (approx 1000 sq ft) - they didn't do a good job and worked on it less than 40 minutes. . Carpet stains unresolved and when asked if there was anything more they could try the technician told me they were permanent and became very aggressive and intimidating... telling me if I really wanted clean carpets I should buy new ones . My wife the next day just to see how bad the stains were was able to remove them - yes it took time and effort on her part, but that's what I thought we were paying SS for. Very disappointing Also - I eventually managed to have a call with someone from the franchise - no apology for the stains... and when I mentioned the attitude of the service technician, all I got in response was 'he is one of our senior technicians' again, no apology for their actions. If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They are incompetent. When I first made the appointment I advised the guy that I had Cathedral ceilings and he said it would not be a problem. The guys arrive with a 5 foot ladder. Needless to say they couldn't clean those vents. Then they ripped off the paint on the ceiling of my bedroom. Didn't even bring it to my attention but I caught it before they left. I had them call the manager and he was very rude but finally took $100 off the bill. I had my AC/gas furnace replaced the next day. The HVAC guys go up to the attic and discover that the hose to the furnace was off and was emitting carbon monoxide into my attic all night long. Apparently when the SS guy was up there doing what ever he was doing...he knocked off the vent/hose. Unbelievable. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Just glad I'm alive to write this. read more

The team that came to my house did an awesome job cleaning 5 rooms and 3 pieces of furniture. They arrived on time, told me how they would move through the house, and finished in a timely manner. They stained my 4 dining room chairs, sofa and tufted headboard. My furniture was in mint condition, just needed to be deodorized. They stained everything they touched. They sent someone to correct the damage they caused and he was unable to, it just deteriorated the fabric on my chairs. Had a second request to clean the tile in our kitchen as we were satisfied with the first cleaning a year ago. The staff has always been professional and had no problems with them. My only gripe is the hook for more money if your room is "L" shaped. It doesn't matter that the size is under the SF allowance. read more

Went on the web site to get a quote and book an appointment. Hardwood floors come up at 94.00 but in small print it says 1.00 per sq ft. When you finish the quote,the hardwoods shows the 9400 plus tax so you think thats your price. The web site is very deceptive. read more

Be aware of these clowns! They will try and nickel and dime you while they are in your home. Get a quote over the phone and then they hit you with the extras as they survey your house. Extra 20% for a sitting room that is connected to bedroom after bedroom was part of initial quote. If I were home I would have thrown them out. You would think they would be a little more customer friendly since they use your water while doing the job. Maybe we should charge a discount or water fee as they prepare the bill. Porcelain tile cleaning was just okay. 3 stars to the cleaners and the company's willingness to send them back out to try and correct issues. The workers that showed were pleasant and on-time, and had good intentions to do a great job, I don't think it's their fault what happened. The grout color, which I asked to be offered in case we needed it when I booked the apt, wasn't in the truck. In the end, didn't need it but hey, I might have. Also, we have porcelain tile and after close inspection, the clear grout sealer left hazy residue outside the lines of the grout. I called them after they left and, without hesitation, immediately came back out the next morning. The person that answered the phone said he'd actually had something similar happen at his home after his firm cleaned his tile. Hmmm. When they returned the tech said "I've never seen this in 5 years." Maybe that's true, but I don't think our tile is that unusual for that's almost all the type of tile they sell these days for large areas of living space. They did their best but a day later, I'm down on my knees scrubbing it off in quite a few more places. Also note: the workman said they don't clean natural stone, yet their agreement/invoice says so they do at the top. he could tell me why he said one thing but the paperwork said something different. So, it's hard to tell if they really know all about tile and stone. I'd have to say that maybe carpet is best handled by Stanley Steemer... but tile? Don't know. read more
