The parts had to be ordered which seemed to take a long time, then once they finally came back they had the wrong part resulting in another weeks long delay. She had just sold the home and wanting to make sure it was in working order for the new owner, and she went to great lengths to get it fixed prior to closing. Even though the system/parts were under warranty, they charged her almost $2,000 for labor to fix a one year old system! Then, the day AFTER closing, the system went out again for the new owner, and instead of guaranteeing the work wanted to charge them another $2,000 for a separate fix. The new owner decided to get a whole new system with a different provider. Several weeks of stress and lots of money spent by both parties with a trip to the hospital thrown in bc my MIL was so hot and dehydrated without her AC...so no, do NOT recommend Essig!

Several other electrical companies charged over $100 just to come out and do an estimate before even doing any work - I found this to be ridiculous and decided to go with "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." I can tell you right away that I made a solid decision as that Jim did a great job from the gecko! He was very responsive, professional and explained everything he is going to do over the phone so that I felt comfortable with choosing him as a professional. When he arrived, he was very respectful to the property. He did not mind me watching him install the electrical outlets in my home and explain how the whole system works. Jim did a fantastic job of eliminating one of my existing electrical outlets and moving it up. He also installed a new GFI outlet in my bathroom so that I can hook up my beloved Japan-style bidet toilet. Overall Jim is very knowledgeable and experienced in his electrical work, as well as very meticulous in little details. He takes pride in his job from start to finish to ensure the job is done right the first time. I felt very comfortable with Jim and "James Morrow Electrician and Handyman." We needed to replace a cast iron baseboard along an outside wall in our bathroom. The base board…read moreunit developed a leak and needed to be replaced, so we called Santos Mechanical. Immediately they told us they could replace the baseboard. They provided us with several options. After choosing a baseboard, Santos Mechanical quickly ascertained the parts, removed the old unit, and replaced the new unit and parts. They worked efficiently, maintained a neat working environment, and completed the job with functionality and an excellent appearance. In addition to the replacement of the unit, our entire system had to be drained. After completing the replacement Santos Mechanical had to refill our entire system which has two different phases. They had to be in our entire house where they carefully moved furniture when necessary. They were very careful to cleanup as they went from room to room. They are very trustworthy and considerate of our home. The price was very reasonable and the estimate reflected the final costs of the entire repair.
