Just had Dave service steam my carpet today. I had to go with the deep cleaning due to pet stains but his work is sheer quality. I was so sure the carpet would need to be replaced but Dave added a few more years to its life. Dave is pleasant, professional, and thorough- very grateful for the reviews on Yelp which is what led me to go directly to Target Carpet Care. Also, did I mention that he was on time?! 2 Thumbs up! read more

Dave did a great job, he answered my call immediately and was at my house the very next morning to clean up after my washing machine leaked into my basement carpet. He also cleaned my living room and hallway carpet and one bedroom. He was done in an hour, and was very thorough. My basement smells better than it ever did and he made my carpets look so much better than they did before. They were pretty bad to begin with so anything was an improvement! I will definitely call him again! read more

My elderly mother used a Groupon to hire Target Carpet Care. There are several reviews here, Google and Groupon saying this vendor hikes up the charges from the Groupon deal. He did this to my mother. Plus, his equipment is old and ineffective. And he left the job site without properly completing the cleaning -- also noted in several negative reviews. read more

Target Carpet Care arrived a few minutes before the two hour window they had given us. The technician, David, was very professional and knowledgeable. I declined to pay extra for deep cleaning of one room where David felt it was needed. David did a quick and thorough cleaning of the rugs. I negotiated to pay extra to also have our steps and sofa cleaned. Very happy with the service---will probably use them again next year. read more

In early January 2017, I paid for a $99 carpet cleaning special for 2 rooms off of Groupon. I called and set up the appointment with the owner "Dave." He said he would CALL before he got to my apt. Instead he showed up 15 minutes early with his 13 year old son and a nasty attitude. He argued all the way to my 3rd floor apt. He immediately said the price would be more than the $99 special I had already paid for. As I vehemently objected, he told me if I said "one more word" he would leave. I told him I would call the police if he didn't leave my apt immediately. He said "I don't care, call them," as he stormed down the stairs. Rude, unprofessional, and very disrespectful. Obviously I WOULD NOT recommend him to anyone except anger management classes!!! read more

The carpets look great. Many years of dirt and soil were removed. He did a great job and was very professional the entire time. As he completed a room, he asked for your opinion to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I would recommend him and have him back in the future. read more

Exceptional service. The gentleman even cAme early! Very professional. It was an easy job: no furniture yet and not a lot of stains. Done in an hour. Fair price, nice guy. Will definitely use again. read more

Carpet looks great love the smell. Very professional and highly recommend.

I see Dave's response to my feedback, and he is correct on many points. When I asked him if his machine would leave any soap in the carpet, he said no. When I asked if his machine had a separate water line to the nozzle for rinse, he said no - you have to empty the machine and do a separate rinse pass with only water in the tank. That wasn't included in the price. Given all this, there wasn't much point in pressing the issue. I didn't realize how much soap and dirt was left in the carpet until AFTER he left. I expected some, but not that much. If I had known, I *would* have asked him to come back and rinse it clean. But as it worked out, I did it myself. When he called, he did offer to come back and clean the carpets (which I appreciate), but this was weeks after I had already cleaned them myself. He also offered me a refund (which I also appreciate), but I declined because the matter was already over for my wife and I. read more

Just had all carpets cleaned in all rooms. Dave was nice and did the cleaning. Looks and smells new!

Absolutely the worst . I could have done better renting one at the grocery store. The carpets weren't cleaned very well because he , David wanted me to pay an additional $150 to really clean them . He also used my hot water to fill his machine. He left in a huff and didn't put the furniture back . Oh also I wasn't told that it would take 6-8 hours to dry. Huge misrepresentation and very disrespectful . read more

I had a very nice experience with Target Carpet Care. Dave was prompt and efficient. My carpeting looks as good as new.

Have had two properties cleaned by Target -- excellent results for both. Our newly purchased house had years of pet stains and spills from the prior owner plus new ones from our dog. The carpets look almost new now and smell a ton better! The owner was able to fit in an appointment quickly before a holiday party and made sure we were satisfied with the results. Will definitely call again and would recommend to a friend! read more

WORST RUG CLEANING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Upon returning my rugs, I immediately noticed the poor quality of cleaning and damage to the yarn fibers. A few years ago, I paid $1000 for an area rug from Pottery Barn that I had successfully cleaned in the past several times through a service that always offered timely pick-up and delivery with no problems. Unfortunately, I just moved to the area and that reliable service is located in Florida. This rug is ruined now and still smells dirty. The 2nd rug, a beige $800 shag rug from Crate&Barrel was returned with the original dog urine stain on the corner. The absolute worst part is that when I brought it to his attention, Dave (the driver and business owner) began waving other invoices quoting the cost of other client's cleaning as if my business wasn't enough or worthy of discussion. Obviously, someone else's cleaning bill should have no relevance to my transaction. He kept repeating himself that he does the best he can and provides a delivery service but never acknowledged the obvious damage to my rugs. I paid $300 to receive dirty, damaged rugs in return. I sent them out because as in the past, I thought they would be thoroughly cleaned in a professional facility. I did not realize he would use the same evasive carpet equipment on area rugs. After going back & forth for far too long and because I was so disgusted by his appalling behavior and the lack of customer service, I paid a discounted yet still ridiculous amount for poor quality of cleaning and service just so he would leave. I will still need to pay to have the rugs cleaned through a reputable company if I decide to keep them. After taking my $300 in a huff, he left all the plastic trash in my apartment. Dave was unbelievably rude, argumentative and unprofessional. My experience with Target Carpet Care was a complete waste of time and money. I would never recommend his service to anyone. read more

I purchased an online deal for a basic cleaning and the results of the service were very good. There was a very noticeable difference in the appearance of the areas I had cleaned. read more

Dave came on time to my house after I received a recommendation from my neighbor about his services. He was thorough in explaining what needed to be done and my home needed a deep cleaning after years of neglect!! The carpets came out like new and I was amazed at how much cleaner they were, including difficult spots that needed to be removed. I would recommend Dave to my friends or neighbors. He did a good job moving my furniture and getting around as much as possible after I had cleared as much as I could off the floors prior to him coming to my house. read more

The worst job ever and a rip-off. 250 sq feet for $174, however with Groupon now $59.00. 250 sq ft won't do two rooms unless you have 10x10 tiny rooms. This guy uses a portable blue machine (not a powerful truck mounted) and wants to charge more for deep cleaning. Folks, that's the purpose of carpet cleaning service..."deep cleaning". I've had my carpets cleaned for 25 years and this scam needs to be addressed. Also, he wants to charge (stairs) $3.00 for each step that the Groupon doesn't cover. Be prepared for all the extra's to add to the job. read more

There are always mixed reviews for any service out there but let me share my experience. Yes getting an appointment was quick. Yes not only did he come out on time but an hour early as he said he had a cancellation. Told me I needed deep cleaning on the sofa, loveseat and carpet as they haven't been cleaned in years. Yes he uses safe chemicals and sanitizers. Yes I did agree to the price of $454. Wanted to sell me scotchguard for extra and when I refused he seems a little annoyed. Later told me he had some left over from a previous job and would put it on the sofa and loveseat for free but that I would have to pay extra for the carpet. I refused this offer and once again he seemed a little annoyed. Work was done quickly and after it was done he wanted me to praise his work. When he asked my daughter her opinion he told him how she felt and that for what he did she felt it was way over priced. At that point he became very defensive and belligerent and wanted to stand there and start an argument. Told her that he gave me a price and I agreed to it and you only get what you paid for. I asked if there was some sort of guarantee if the stains came back right away and he skirted around the issue. Said if cat pee gets into the pad the stain will come back. Just because I have a cat does not mean my cat pees on the carpet. Also wanted the check written out to him directly and not to the company. Why you ask. So that he doesn't have to claim it as income to the IRS. He walked out of here still complaining and saying he even offered me a free service so he doesn't understand what we were complaining about. All my daughter said was that she felt it was over priced but since the work was done and I agreed to it there was no need to argue about it. I felt he wanted to continue the argument as he walked out the door. I have dealt with professional people all my life and this man was extremely unprofessional on his way out. I don't want to ever have to deal with this person ever again. By the way, the stains came back two days after he left. We learn by experience so this is a lesson learned. Beware of who you hire. I'm still considering writing to the Better Business Bureau about this man's attitude when he walked out of here. Thanks for listening. read more

BEWARE! I called to schedule a cleaning and redeem a $99 special for "Carpet and rug cleaning services." I wanted to have 2 rooms and an area rug cleaned. The owner told me that area rugs were not included and that "Carpet" and "Rug" is the same thing...which is "wall to wall carpet"??? He was extremely rude and was talking to me like I was an idiot to not understand that a carpet and a rug were the same thing. He then told me he didn't have time to deal with this and hung up on me! read more
