This place is great for everyone. It's modern, clean, and well managed. Huge outdoor play areas for the family to play pickle ball and watch an outdoor movie theater screen to watch games. The food was equally great. They also feature a nice drink menu. The menu includes thin pizza, wings, and other staple items the family would like. Definitely worth the trip.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening. We made reservations before and avoided a wait. The place is modern and kid friendly with a large outdoor area to let them burn some energy. They offer outdoor, patio or inside dining. The menu offers a decent selection. I ordered Carne Asada. It was delicious with good slices of steak, rice and a bowl of beans with two authentic style tortillas. I was full but not overdone afterwards. Good service including the manager checking on us. We'll be back.

I've eaten here (at the actual business) once. Uber Eats tells a completely different story. In the past year, I've ordered delivery 10+ times. Geesh! I have to give it to them, their food is good even after waiting for delivery. I've ordered quite a bit of the menu and have never had an issue with the quality of ingredients, freshness, or temperature. Of course, there is a difference between table service and home delivery, but more often than not, a quick 30 seconds in the microwave is all that is needed, if at all. There's only been one meal I completely hated (cheese ravioli chicken alfredo), and one I would suggest needs to be kitchen to table versus delivery (tex mex chicken nachos). The salads are a great portion (two servings - I'll split between meals and add my own protein). A quick run-down of orders (and re-orders): -Tejas bowl -cheese sticks -chips + salsa -the ranch salad -the spinach salad -tomato soup (get the bowl. everytime. freezes well and gives me two portion sizes) -veggie chopped salad -red rooster sliders -fish and chips (a bit too salty, but great portion) -grilled chicken sandwich -honey garlic brussels -hg kale ceasar salad -Angus chili (freezes well) - sweet potato fries (skip for delivery) -meatball sub sliders (a bit salty, but overall tasty - the slider bun is magnificent) SS being so close to my home has been a lifesaver whether I'm not feeling well, don't want to cook, or I want a little razzle dazzle to break up to monotony of home cooked meals during the week. When I did visit (Nov. 2022), the family enjoyed the outdoor activity options and the relaxing, but fun vibe. Unfortunately, they're no longer active on the app. Hopefully, that changes soon.

Their service is amazing! So my husband got the patty melt and he wanted it medium rare but they made it well done. He didn't want to waste the food because if he asked for a new one, they would've just thrown it away. So he just asked for a queso refill and they gave us a full new serving! Portion is also huge so we had to take half of ours to go. Mangonada is absolutely delish and everything else! Highly recommend this as a nice hangout spot since they got activities outside such as corn hole and table tennis.

Amazing little spot to hang out in Rockwall area. Ambiance was really nice--fire pits and a Saturday football game showing on the big screen outside and on covered patio as well as at the bar indoors. We sat on the covered patio with our pups for a bit and then moved out to the fire pits to see the game better. Margherita pizza was just okay, nothing special, but drinks were reasonably priced and service was great. One of the few places around Rockwall with heated outdoor seating AND TVs. We are training our dogs for therapy work so it's nice to have a place to take them for exposure to crowds and noise while still enjoying ourselves and catching a game.

Waffles were a bit hard. And so was the toast for the chorizo Omelette. Food is a bit pricey for breakfast considering that you only get two small waffles for $14. As for the Chorizo omelette well I didn't appreciate the American imitation cheese used and the mixed greens. I'm not sure how that fits in to a breakfast. Service was ok. Atmosphere is nice. Ambience is upscale ish. Based on my receipt I would recommend the Mimosas which were $3. Therefore after a few of those I am sure your meal won't matter.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup

I love this place so much! I've come here on date night and have now come with the whole family, not sure which is better :) We came on a Friday at 5:30pm for sure thinking we'd be waiting at least 30mins.. nope, we were sat immediately on a picnic table out back, with perfect shade and visibility/access to the big open field area. We ended up staying for an hour and a half because our kids (ages 3 & 4) were having so much fun with their new friends. If you're coming with little kids, I recommend bringing a backpack full of toys like we did. They have corn hole, but only a couple sets, so you'll need more things to keep them busy like a football or soccer ball. So why am I giving a 4 rather than 5 you ask? Unfortunately while the food is fancy, it's hit or miss. I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup today which was okay, but had obviously been sitting around while waiting for my husbands food (rooster sliders YUMMM) finished, and wasn't nearly hot enough. The last time we came here my fish and chips had the same issue, so i think the kitchen just gets backed up during busy times.

I was here for Grand Opening almost 5 years, and knew back then that Standard Service had all the potential to become a destination dining experience. The outdoor receation features, and the firepit seating, and outdoor stage with a large screen for media display such as pro sports sets Standard Service apart from most other facilities. Whether you need to relax, or want to play with your kids on the pickle ball courts, the expansive outdoor area has a place for you & your crew. Indoor main dining area has comfortable seating in a variety of styles. Reservations are strongly suggested for big groups which Standard Service can handle. The sportsbar, I was hoping it would expand in size, but I'm not owner. Still, it is a nice bar, and seats fill-up quickly. There are 2 other locations, 1 in downtown Dallas, TX and then northwest of DFW Airport in the toney Trophy Club area. The staff is warm & welcoming, Jessica was very kind & helpful as our Octogenarian guest was here for their first time. The menu has leaned back to casual dishes, more like refined bar food, with some healthier salads. Online, I had spotted Beef Stroganoff, so that was my target dish I wanted to try. Wow, this was a generous serving that 2 persons could split. Very beefy, with only a few large slices of mushroom, and white onion slices softened to an easy bite. Noodles cooked properly, with a nice sauce that was flavorful, yet mellow. I might have licked the bowl, in my younger years. The sweet potato fries, skinny like shoestrings, were very good, but lost their warmth in 2 minutes. Do the NFL 2 minute drill, no timeouts, chug these down. The Chicken Fajitas (2) were large and tasty. The 3-piece fried cod plate was also some good eating. Happy bellies, but we skipped the pickle ball game, too full. If I had brought a different crew, probably a beer outside in the adirondack chairs, then light the firepit after sunset. One of a kind dining & relaxing spot, with plenty of outdoor space!

SWEET POTATO FRIES

Fun and neat ambiance, average food. Came here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. We had reservations and were seated quickly. Our waitress introduced herself in a timely manner and throughout the service did a wonderful job, even though she mentioned it was only her second day. The restaurant is very relaxed and there is a lot of activity all around. Kids are running around playing various games and the outside seating area is perfect for a nice weather day. The star of this establishment is definitely their ambiance. For starters we had the chips and queso. The queso was delicious and had the right consistency, not runny at all. For my entree I had the bunless burger bowl and a side of sweet potato fries. The bunless burger was lacking serious flavor, very bland to say the least. It comes with spicy chile mayo that was lost in the burger and it did not add any depth of flavor. The sweet potato fries were okay, but once again lacked creativity and it did not set them apart from your run of the mill fries. Overall I recommend this restaurant if you want to have a fun time with your family in a relaxed atmosphere. I would visit again if we were in the mood for drinks and appetizers, but for a good meal I would look elsewhere.

This place is a great find for dinner, family fun and sharing with guest. We are NOT from TX and have recently moved to TX and ironically to this area. My husband rolled pass before and told me the name so I did a YELP search and planned an outing for my family. Our first visit was extremely pleasant, we've been now about 6-7 times and we are averaging 60% great experience and 20% Not Good and 20% Meh Thé 50% Great is totally the FOOD.. the Meh and not good is totally based on the service as it's Hit or Miss for US. We tend to get forgotten or seated in a bit so experienced server section each time. The food is worth going back but with VERY VERY low expectations for service.

The grilled chicken sandwich on sourdough bread with sweet potato fries was delicious!

It's never felt like a place that values new faces or fresh energy, and that's a missed opportunity. As for karaoke nights, it's no secret there's an inner circle. If you're not part of it, good luck. Despite signing up early and showing up ready to contribute to the night, I've consistently been pushed back or overlooked. It's hard to ignore when the same familiar faces keep rotating through while others wait endlessly. The karaoke host (yes, you know who you are) makes it clear who's in and who's out. If you're confident, talented, or don't "fit the clique," don't expect fair treatment. Some people protect their spotlight at the expense of others -- and that's exactly what happens here. It's unfortunate, because karaoke should be about building a vibe, not gatekeeping one. It's no wonder the place was dead last Saturday. Places that don't grow community eventually lose it. I'm speaking up not out of hate, but because I believe people deserve to know the truth -- and Rockwall deserves better than what this spot currently offers.

I'm not sure if it was just a bad day to come here or what, but the fact that it was so busy did not match the experience that we had. Although the drinks we got were ok, the tajin rim on my cucumber margarita was barely existent. It was maybe a few flecks of tajin. Then when our food came out, the rice looked completely bland. Jasmine rice with zero flavor is certainly an interesting choice for a Mexican food restaurant. We ordered queso and it just tasted like melted down velveeta with some tomatoes in it. By the time the queso came out, we were out of chips. Instead of bringing us more, we had to ask our server several times for some. Felt out of the ordinary for a restaurant as typically they'll just bring you more chips? The tomatillo sauce was very good on the enchilada, but that was about the most flavor of the entire night. I don't know that I would recommend this place to anyone... just drive 1 minute up the road to Manny's! To top it off, the whole vibe of the place feels weird. Extremely upscale on the outside, but as soon as you walk in it's just odd. Additionally, two enchilada plates and queso with two margaritas came out to $80. This was extremely expensive for the quality of food that we received.

A week later and I am still thinking about the delicious food and fantastic service! We didn't wait…read moresuper long for a table and the hosts were great. We took my dad to dinner and he complained that it was a little loud, but felt like we sat right under a speaker. I explained to him that it was part of the "vibe". Other than the volume making it difficult to hear, everything was fantastic. We probably could have asked to sit on the heated patio. The chips were warm and fresh and came with both red and green salsa, and both were super tasty. My husband asked if I could make salsa like that at home! We ordered drinks and they came quickly. I appreciated the quality of the drinks especially since we mostly ordered from their drink menu. We ordered "The Good Guac" to start and our server made sure that it wasn't too spicy or anything for my dad. I thought that was very thoughtful that she asked if how it came was ok. For food we ordered street tacos, Baja fish tacos and the parillada en fuego. The food runner seemed confused and brought us another dish (maybe the Verde molcajete) but with the loud music the message that we didn't order it was lost in translation. My husband thought maybe it was what he ordered and started in. Because our server came to check on us so quickly, she caught the mistake right away. She apologized profusely and said they were bringing what we ordered. They allowed us to keep the dish, and no sooner did we have a few bites of the deliciousness the correct food came out. They checked on us quickly, apologized profusely, brought the correct food immediately, let us keep the other food, sent another manager to apologize and finally followed up with coupons to return after making sure we were satisfied with how they handled it. I understand humans make mistakes, so I feel like the recovery or response is what is important. This is the type of amazing service that will keep us coming back. We were actually happy with the mistake as we were able to try another dish we likely wouldn't have ordered (but ended up being our favorite thing to eat). The ambiance was fun, parking was easy, the wait was reasonable, the service was FANTASTIC, the food was delicious and food/drinks were made with quality ingredients. We'll be back!

They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of.
