Got right in on the patio, fast service and great food! Love the ambiance outside! Great vibes! I would recommend this to anyone!

A hipster's paradise!!! No parking, uncomfortable chairs and a single page eclectic menu. The food is fantastic. I had the farmhouse bowl with roasted red taters, glazed carrots, peas, goat cheese and topped with a waygu burger patty - all slathered with some tasty sauce. It was small, but filling for lunch. My coworker had a giant cob salad with hipster chicken, and he said it was good. Huge wine selection & a bar with a tatted bartendress who ate nachos and talked more than she worked. I'd eat here again...in a booth. Seriously, their chairs are so uncomfortable. read more

Love this place! The food and service are always great! If you like Brussel spouts, try them!

The shrimp lettuce chips are amazing! Great place for everyone, very kid friendly! You can even bring your pup and sit outside.

This place started off with a bang. Great food, great service, cool establishment. I don't know what happened to it, but it is not the same place anymore. From the inability to make an Arnold Palmer, to having the audacity to serve us burnt fish, this place is not worth the money. I assume any revenue they make is based on the convenience it offers those that live by, couldn't possibly be the food. Standard Service? More like Below Standard Service. read more

Overall this place rocks!!! It's great to see a new place that look so nice and still doing a great job even after the new has work off. Still have great food and the staff are very friendly and helpful and supportive of each other. Waiter brags about the bartenders. Excellent handcrafted drinks off the menu custom blackberry & jalapeño margarita, wow wow, both some of the best I've ever had. The food Rocks the service as equal. Chicken fried chicken crusted in cornflakes, grilled cheese with and serious contenders read more

This place is amazing. I've been here twice. The first time, my parents and I got the Tex Mex Nachos and the brownie dessert. I had ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea, but our waiter forgot. No worries, I had water, it was busy; I was fine. Our waiter, Patrick, apologized and took the dessert off our bill. The second time I came with my friend. She ordered the Tejas Bowl and I got the sushi bowl. We also got the cheese fries for an appetizer. Our waiter DJ was very nice and since it was chilly, brought us heaters. He even got us a free dessert! I love this place and will continue coming back. read more

This "new" Standard Service in a word is.... annoying. We went there for dinner tonight but after waiting for over an hour left without eating. The place was remarkably loud, over crowded, unorganized and downright uncomfortable. I appreciate what they were going for with the outdoor space with games and all but no, just no. We won't be going back. read more

If there was not a star that would be great and what I would choose for sure! Us girls and when I mean us girls there are 12 to 14 of us that have had our Galentine get together here in 2020 and recently 2022 and had no problems, so my husband says you rave about it being great let's go on next Sunday. Following Sunday we go, get there and the wait is 30 minutes ok no big deal, we wait, got there a little before 3 seated by 4:15pm that should of been our clue.....we got seated right next to kitchen the main walk through, we asked to be moved we were moved sat and waited and wondered if our waiter/waitress forgot about us.... after our drink order was placed it took a bit to long for our drinks but ok we are here (wish I never brought my husband) was told out of fish and ships to which my husband loves and would of ordered, so we ordered Crispy Thai Brussel sprouts, which were the bomb! Husband decided on Short rib pot pie I decided on bunless burger, waitress Lilly comes back Sorry we are out of pot pie, ok so he order's Truffled Short rib's Stroganoff and all it was, was just noodles for $25. really? ok let's get through this at this point I am apologizing to my husband! Should we dare order dessert? Well Lilly asked so why not what could go wrong? Husband wanted Banana pudding pie wait for it....they are out! You have got to be kidding me! He ordered Apple Pie cuts into it takes a bite and it is COLD! COLD YALL! After Lilly goes missing which seemed like 30 minutes but really it was way to long, husband flagged down an employee, says we will get you another one! Husband waved at the manager to come over please to our table and he just ignores him all together! As we sat chatting amongst ourselves we realized THE NAME SAYS IT ALL "STANDARD SERVICE"!!!!! We would not recommended to anyone and I will be asking our daughter that get's the Galentine's together every year to move to another location! If you have made it this far please save your money and your time. There are to many option's out there to have to put up with something like this! read more

Excellent place to have some brunch. The food was great and we sat outside. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was great. It's pet friendly. Had a lot fun hanging out with other dog owners. The drinks were well made. Service was a little slow, but honestly they were still very nice. read more

Food is always good and consistent. Great cocktails and ambiance! Service is attentive and welcoming.

An affiliate or owned by HG SUPPLY Co., Standard Service is a gem in the Rockwall area. I am a health nut and found it hard to find good sit down healthy food in Rockwall. Fortunately, someone recommended this spot, after I told them how big of an HG fan I was and how I ate. The menu is interesting, though a vegan or vegetarian may find it a more limited than HG of course due to this being in the Rockwall area, or a branch of HG that offers their good food to the more typical population that eats burgers, steaks, chicken, etc.; but they do have options on their menu for everyone! I am really sorry that I forgot what I ordered, but know that it was delicious and worth writing a review on. Check the pic also! The staff was very helpful and attitude-free. The place is clean, though a little crowded. I would recommend Standard Service for watching the game of the night, a date, or casual dining. read more

Great food. Portions are fair. A bit pricey. Always good service and a very nice and different atmosphere.

Ordered the bird sandwich and the meat was dry and for 15 bucks it's not worth it. They don't pass out stuff like chips and salsa and bread etc so everything on the menu is overpriced. We ordered the dessert with vanilla ice cream and brownie and honestly I can do that myself for a quarter of the price. At the end of the day this place sucks and the only reason why I give it a 2 instead of a 1 is because the seats were comfortable and there was stuff to do outside read more

Found this place on a whim. Food is a little overpriced for what you get (both portion and flavor), but it's good. The large footprint of this place is what makes it awesome. There are tons of seats inside and outside for people. The games are fun, and the atmosphere is fun. Staff was very nice, but they are required to wear masks still. All in all I recommend. read more

Tried this place out since I'll be moving to the area. Absolutely loved the outdoor setting!! Love the diverse playlist, drinks were great and the food was great! Well, first off there was a huge black strand of hair in my drink when it was delivered and as I poked it out in front or our server, she simply said "oh, sorry". Didn't offer to get me another nor did she comp the drink. When my friend ordered a single mimosa, she brought her a double and apologized for putting in the order wrong. Again, didn't fix it and she charged her for the double. When the check came, each drink was charged with a donation that I was not aware of. I missed that somewhere and sure didn't want to be that person that demanded a donation be given back to me. On the fence of going back. Loved everything except the service. Maybe a different server will be more accommodating and communicate the donations ahead of time. read more

This is the first night at the new location in Heath and the place is packed. The service is great and the food is amazing. Beer selection is great as well. I would've loved to had Boochcraft on tap and/or Truly cans but the selection is still top notch. Bar staff was on point despite being slammed. My wife, friends and I will be regulars here. Keep up the great work. read more

Friendly staff and unique and fun place to eat. Love the nachos! The manager goes out of his way to make sure their customers are happy with their food. read more

She could have been more sympathetic. I spent a lot of money with them. I was very disappointed.

The place itself is very cool. HUGE outdoor seating area, with games, and a play area for kids. Mostly they just run around - not many kid activities. They have a stage for live events although I haven't heard or seen any events here. Big screen up there too for watching games. Food is really good. Service is pretty slow. Food is a little pricier than most but worth it. Drinks however, are pretty expensive. Enjoy the place but know that if you're bringing kids or hanging out a bit, it is going to have a bit of a tab. read more

A fantastic location to visit! Their food is one of a kind in appearance, and the flavor is simply divine.

it was a 45 min wait to eat inside..too expensive for what you get also! If you like Industrial Yuppie then this place is for you! Television was all on Cowboy game and way too loud. Service was ok..food was Poor unless you want to throw 1/2 of it away! SAD.... read more

Spent the afternoon in Rockwall, which is rare & decided brunch would be a great idea. I had originally eyed this restaurant's IG page, so I decided to give it a try. Nice, new, and chic. Ok so wow! The friends and I decided to short trip out of Dallas to Rockwall this weekend, and our trusty Yelp led us to Standard Service for Sunday brunch. If you're familiar with HG SPLY and Remedy in Dallas, well same restaurant group. Walking in to the restaurant, the hostess stand kinda threw me off, but once I got past it the space is pretty cool. Love the HUGE, Extensive bar area stocked full of bottles, and the indoor seating area with garage-type (think firehouse) roll up doors that open out onto a pretty wide patio. So, cool industrial type decor. The wall on the left features a Scrabble-type list of special drinks which you can prob get your own unique drink recipe added to their repertoire. When they bring your check there is a card that you can fill out your drink recipe, and if chosen they will feature it with $1 from the sale of each drink going to a charity of your choice! Drink a little, give a little! Works for me! But let's get back to the food! I will just say the Specialty Bowls are AWESOME! I tried the Tejas Bowl - a delightful concoction of ranchero style pinto beans, brown rice, sautéed red onions, red bell & poblanos, cheddar cheese, pico, lime crema, guacamole, shredded lettuce & crispy tortilla strips. Amazing flavors! No one flavor overpowering the others. You have a choice of proteins you can add. I opted for the chicken, and it had the most deliciously "fresh-off-the-grill smoked with the lightest blend of fresh herbs" taste! Absolutely loved it! Pretty decent portion. The friends tried the breakfast tacos, which were chock full of bacon, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, herb roasted potatoes, lime crema & green goddess with pico on the side. Again very healthy portions ... they could barely finish the 2nd one and they also loved the flavors. Another friend "built her own meal" with a combo of the sides - Toast with Salted Butter & Strawberry Preserves, Herb Roasted Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, and Bacon (cooked just short of crisp but Delish, I was told!). $2 mimosas complemented our meals. After 2 of those I had a nice buzz going! They literally have a huge bar of bottles that take up the whole wall area, so lots of specialty drinks as well. Our waitress was pretty friendly and service was prompt. Will definitely return to try some other things off the menu if I'm ever in the area again. read more

This is such a cool spot, it is definitely the "hot spot" for Rockwall area & is always packed. The food is absolutely amazing & so fresh. Took my mother in law for Mother's Day & she loved it! Server we had was super nice & very attentive. We got 4 different items & each were so yummy. Nashville Hot brunch item was super good, the grilled chicken sandwich was by far the best, queso & chips appetizer so yummy, loaded grilled cheese is just YUM, Ruben isn't my personal style but my father in law loved it, & the loaded tots sooo good! We had MANmimosas & they were super good! Wish we could have sat outside & enjoyed everything they have to offer out there but maybe next time! We will be back! read more

SUCH a joke of a place. The first time we were there they literally overcharged our bill by $100. If my husband wouldn't have checked us and the rest of the table would have overpaid. The last time we were there I ordered an entree off their physical menu as did my husband. The brought his food and then informed me that what I ordered is no longer offered? Like why wasn't the staff trained up enough to know that upon ordering? OR better yet, why have outdated menus? Over all, it's substandard. Food and service is trash. Their only redeeming quality is a decent atmosphere read more

Standard Service is solidly fine, leaning towards good. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars, but felt that I had to round down. I was just outside the city limits for an event on a cold spring day. Needing some warmth and nourishment, I found Standard Supply on Yelp. Parking can be difficult on a busy weekend, but since it's in a shopping center near Lowe's, there are options, but it may be a tiny walk. Walking inside, you can definitely tell the place is developed by the same group behind HG Supply Co in Dallas. Industrial, but cozy. Very hip, with a staff full of 20 somethings. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar in the corner, which unfortunately was not really able to view her TVs from my angle. All good, this is why I have books on my phone! The bartender was pretty attentive, sharing that they have $2 mimosas on the weekends, either either orange juice or cranberry juice. I opted for the latter and it was quickly made and served. Since it was later in the day, while the breakfast options sounded delicious, I'm a sucker for a old fashioned grilled cheese made with solid ingredients and theirs was promising. Since I'm a vegetarian, I requested it without bacon, and there's where I went wrong. The food did take a while to arrive; the kitchen runs along the opposite wall of the bar so you can see people coming and going and some servers seemed flustered through the afternoon. Someone finally brings me my grilled cheese...topped with thick bacon. I sat and stared at it for a few minutes before the bartender finally checked on me and I told him the mistake. He immediately was apologetic and took full responsibility. The replacement sandwich did come out quickly, and it tasted pretty good, but it still just added to the wait time. Not the best grilled cheese, but a solid fast-casual restaurant option. Fries were just okay as well. Brunch was being served around me and it looked good, so I would be willing to give it another shot. While I didn't ever see many people waiting, the restaurant was steadily busy the entire late morning. Decent option for a younger or more adventurous vibe in Rockwall! read more

I really wanted to like this place but overall I do not know if we will be going back. The happy hour drinks are tasty for the price and the food was good, not amazing. WEIRD THING to me was they took my ID..scanned it...and then gave me a document to sign??? Ok what are u doing now with my address and other personal info printed on a piece of paper??? All I wanted was a drink not to sign my life away. Also the service is definitely lacking. After sitting inside for dinner we decided we wanted to move outside and continue to have drinks and dessert which our first waitress said we could do. But I didn't know that would come with SO many rules!!! U can't order food when on the green space....the large open space where everyone wants to sit? Another area was available and open for seating and eating but the waitress said they would not be serving there tonight. They also had several large tables outside where you could eat but they had reservation signs on them-but no one was ever seated there? A picnic table had 1 guy sitting there and we asked him if it was ok if we could sit there and he said yes. Several minutes later a waitress came up to us and told us we could not sit there because the whole large picnic table was for the gentleman. Still kicked us out even though he said it was ok and we were distanced from him. They claimed a reservation had just arrived but later we saw it was still empty. All we wanted to do was have dessert but it became such a hassle, so many rules and restrictions, we decided to leave. Think we will take our business elsewhere and specifically to places that allow us to sit and eat dessert smh. LET THEM EAT PIE! read more

Started out with happy our $5 frozen Moscow Miles... loved it! Half price happy our appetizers... we had the cheese fries and it did not disappoint. The quest and pepper jack cheese were so creamy! I had the chicken stir fry bowl.... I could barely finish half of it. It was HUGE, filling and light all at the same time. Perfectly seasoned and veggies were tender but not mooshy. Hubby had the cheese ravioli with chicken Alfredo and it was so creamy and rich. Even the toast was the bomb. vlad was our waiter. Friendly, attentive, full of welcomed advice and great at his job. Awesome service! Me and my friends get one of their awesome salads and split a pizza. It's really good!

The first time I visited it was a great experience. The second time was a little disappointing. It was busy but the area I was seated in was a small area. The waiter took too long to check on me. When I finally ordered, he came back about 10 mins later saying they ran out of shrimp. I was disappointed because had he taken my order earlier I could have possibly gotten what I wanted. The nachos were a big portion but didn't have very much chicken. I'll go back but will make sure to order as soon as I make contact with the waitstaff. read more

We arrived late in the lunch seating but still we served fairly promptly. Dad had the best deal: the Reuben. He made two meals out of it. My friend and I had the bunless burger. Was tasty but wasn't as filling as I'd hoped. I probably should have ordered an appetizer to go with it. Only complaint was that it was really loud given there weren't many there. read more
