This spot kept popping up, so I checked it out--definitely didn't disappoint. Got a matcha and the big strawberry pastry stuffed with jam and soft cake. And yeah... you need a fork lol. The crunchy chocolate shell is actually really good. Coffee is moderately priced, pastries are a little expensive--but that's NYC + a viral trend. I confirmed with the staff that the board menu lists $5 for a 16oz -- so I expected the larger size, but got the smaller one without it being made clear. Prices are reasonable otherwise, but the size labeling was misleading. The chai was a bit watery, but the maple latte was solid! I ordered a single burger and a Sudan spiced peanut butter latte, for ~$15! That's pretty inexpensive for New York City. I note this as some consider it overpriced. I suppose the food is fairly inexpensive, the lattes slightly higher than average. The "burger" comes wrapped in a homemade pita with diced cucumber, onion, and tomato, plus a few crispy, thick-cut fries and a yummy house sauce. It was a cool twist of the traditional burger and had a nice flavor. The sauce was like a slightly Mediterranean version of Big Mac sauce.
