They were not offering their wood fired pizzas this day because of the possible bad weather which was disappointing as we were all looking forward to it but we did order some sandwiches which were pretty good. All in all a very good experience and their winery dog made it even better. Oh they also have a bocce court which was nice to see but we didn't play as it was wet from a previous rain shower.

We opted for three whites (Sauv Blanc, Viognier, and Riesling) and all the reds (Merlot, Montepulciano, Chambourcin, cab Sauvignon, and a couple of blends (including a meritage). They are in the process of releasing a new Monte/nebbiolo blend, which I'm thrilled we were able to try. All the wines were delightful, but I was particularly fond of the mystique (Chambourcin), meritage, and the cab. There is a large offering of over 20 varieties. One of the current owners led our tasting and gave us detailed explanations of the history and thought process behind each wine. There are 11 wines that were the original Autumn Creek wines and then the new owners have added some new wines and new blends under the label Gioia dell'Amore Cellars. We liked all of the wines that we tasted. Our favorites were the Diamond Girl White & Red Blends and the Embrace Meritage red blend. After our tasting we purchased a bottle of Diamond Girl Red to enjoy on property. Outside the tasting room are a large deck and a brick patio with sweeping views of grapevines, a pond, a waterfall, a gazebo, a covered area and an event venue (where an anniversary party was taking place). We ordered and shared a red flight, white flight and a bunch of their spreads which came with croissant bread. Everything was delicious. My complaints are: being only open on Sundays which is inconvenient and also creates pandemonium on the one day you are open for a very limited 4 hour slot, no tastings, just flights (for true wine people this is a no no), limited seating and parking is in a field, also they were out of the baguette (they substituted the croissants which was better than the pita they said they were going to give us) and the barbecue brisket spread which was I found to be ridiculous; I mean you're open for only 4 hours one day of the week.... You need to plan better. A lot of negatives but their wine and food is still good enough for me to say that I would return.

When I visited, I did a wine tasting, which was paired with different flavored potato chips. So I got to taste several different wines. I'm more of a red wine gal, but one of my favorites at Beliveau is the Crazy Professor, which is a white wine blend: Vidal Blanc, Chardonel, Pinot Gris. They also have a tasty Cab Franc (one of my favorites, too), and another Crazy Professor wine, but this one is a red called The Professor's Crazy Estate Blend, which is Cab Franc, Syrah, Merlot and Tempranillo. Almost all of my favorites in one bottle! So, yes, you will find some great Virginia wines here. You can enjoy a glass indoors or outdoors. I hope you sit outdoors, though, because the grounds are beautiful and expansive. This place is kid-friendly and pet-friendly, too. There's lots of open space for kids to run around, and some big rocks for them to climb on.

Omg, this is one of the most hospitality locations I have visited:) The atmosphere and customer service is so generous.It honestly seems perfect.The wines are great and well explained during each pour during the wine tasting. This was a new selection of wines from my last visit, and they tasted remarkable!Their food is scrumptious. This place will always be one of my first visited locations when it comes to taking friends and family.to introduce them to wine, food and travel.  Our wine guide, Caitlin, was very professional and knowledgeable.
