It breaks down like this: Are you looking for a relaxing day with some locals and regulars who love this place (maybe a little too much) and have built a legitimate community around it? I suggest weekend afternoons for some tunes on the jukebox and sports on the TVs, Tuesday nights for open mic and Wednesday nights for Poker. Looking to find the broad of your dreams with those child bearing hips and a vague interest in the trad wife movement? Try Thursday and Saturday nights for Karaoke (and wear your square-toed cowboy boots and trucker hat, the ladies love that shit here). One thing is always true though, the management and bartenders are friendly, warm and great at their jobs. Regardless of the day or time, you'll find a professional behind the bar ready to make you feel welcome- but don't be a douche, even pros have their limits. So, pick your time wisely but whenever you go, you'll likely leave feeling a little better than when you arrived.

What a disappointment. I had seen their advertisements on IG for a great place to watch the World…read moreCup game yesterday, so we figured we'd give it a shot. Unfortunately there was so much extra space that they didn't set up tables and chairs, that it was difficult to find seats and they discouraged moving them around (I get it!). We finally were able to get some high stools in the pickleball room, but the sound wasn't able to go high enough to understand the commentary or hear the half time show, which was a bummer. I got in line at the bar (in the pickleball room) before the game started and it took 30 min to get to the front as they only had 1 bartender there and a limited selection of drinks. Then at halftime, we were approached where we were sitting if we wanted to order anything (horray, I didn't have to wait in line!), so we got 1 alcoholic drink and 3 NAs and did not receive them for 50-60 min later; I'd honestly thought they'd forgotten them. The game would have been ending, but they did go into overtime, otherwise those drink orders would've been a waste. Additionally, my sister had arrived hungry and we then found out that they had closed the kitchen until further notice as the kitchen was on a 2 hour backup! The water stations were empty several times during the day as well. Clearly, they were not properly staffed for the event the watch party they had advertised. I spoke with a guy near me and he said he goes there often to play pickleball and they are typically understaffed, so that's just what he expects unfortunately. I will say, the food that people got around us before the kitchen closed did look good, it was just sad that we couldn't get any. It seems like a cool place to play pickleball, so that is the only reason I'd be interested in going back.

The kitchen had temporarily closed as we heard it was a 2hr wait for food. It surprises me that they were this unprepared on a Sunday afternoon when it's 100 degrees outside and the final World Cup game is on tv. There was one bartender and one server for the back bar and while they were very pleasant, they were really overwhelmed. The tvs weren't turned up high enough to hear any of the game, and overall, it was a really disappointing experience. At the end of the game, they were taking food orders again, and the guy behind me got a pizza that looked and smelled delicious, but by that time, we'd already decided to go somewhere else for dinner. All that aside, I'm excited to see something in this part of town, and there was plenty of parking. I may try out the pickleball courts on a future visit (I can't speak to that in this review), but I definitely wouldn't count on quick service at the bar or restaurant.

People of all ages were here hanging out however some were taking the games way to seriously. It is a decent sized space but with all the games and big pieces of furniture it gets crowded fast. The bartender were so nice and seemed pretty quick, hard to say how it will be when it gets busy. The drinks were good but they only have paper straws, and they also have a charcuterie board you can order. Because the bar is a tad gimmicky, I won't become a regular but I would definitely recommend and come back for a unique night out. Overall 4/5

Maybe. Probably not, but willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. It feels like they found it on the side of the road in the middle of Iowa, dusted it off, gave it some spit shine and put it to work. And then personally curated only the most saccharine, soulless, slop they could find, really digging for the worst humanity had to offer on vinyl. It falls short of a crime. But not by much. If the US Gov't weaponizes that jukebox, we'd all be dead. It's the ICE of jukeboxes. If you can manage that and you're able to counter the irresistible urge to jam the small end of a screwdriver in your ear and wiggle it around real fast, then it's a cool bar.

There were two employees checking IDs, one searching bags, two more (one male and one female) with security wands, and one last person helping to check tickets. Everything ran smooth and I was ready to rock in under three minutes. Once inside, I was able to get right to the bar for a drink and then I hopped in line for merch. Funny enough, the merch line, which is in the back of the venue, had probably the best view of the stage. The sound quality is excellent no matter where you stand. I did make my way upfront during the band changeovers. Visibility was a little more of a challenge, where I had to "prairie dog" to see the band, but the sound and energy was worth it. Bring earplugs because a day later, my ears are still a bit foggy. The balcony is reserved seating and the staff does keep it controlled. There's also a bar upstairs, so if you prefer seats with a guaranteed view, buy your tickets early because those sell out fast. One recommendation I have is that when buying the concert ticket on TM, to skip the prepay for parking. TM website lists it as Parkwhiz but good luck trying to figure out which lot/garage to use. I never was emailed the QR code (likely just a hiccup) and the TM website never loaded it (the cost was $15). I ended up at the LAZ parking garage at Wazee and only paid $10 (likely since there was no big event @ Coors). The Summit does have a food stand for those craving a pizza slice but save yourself and go to Sliceworks just up the block.

if I could give zero stars I would due severe concerns regarding the ADA accommodations and safety…read morepractices at Summit Music Hall, based on my experience during tonight's event. While sitting in the designated ADA section, my party and I were forced to relocate four times, which required us to move ourselves, our personal belongings, and the provided chairs each time. We were ultimately placed in a cramped corner with no direct access to restrooms or emergency exits, and with no visible indicators for emergency assistance. Furthermore, the security staff was extremely rude. Security personnel informed us that they needed an aisle for crowd surfers; however, the makeshift aisle created was completely inaccessible and does not meet ADA standards. In the event of an emergency, the current setup would prevent individuals in the ADA section from safely evacuating. It appears the staff lacks proper emergency training to assist patrons with disabilities in a crisis. The current conditions present a significant safety hazard. I urge venue management to review and overhaul these procedures immediately to ensure accessibility and safety for all patrons. I will not be returning to Summit Music Hall until significant improvements are made.
