First his swing looks like Amazon Prime delivered it in the short bus 3 days late if ya know what I mean. This fella gets stuck about halfway down and needs a damn exorcism to make contact with his Pinnacle. Watching him play golf is about as comfortable as staring in to the sun. No bueno! Anyways, we get to #6 and Diesel puts the press on so ol' Romeo knows what to do so I butter cut this sweet lil driver down the middle, toss a lil wedge up there, tap in and mash the gas pedal for the rest of the round. Took him down in the hog game with ease but the fella ended up being a damn good dude. We'll definitely blast off again but I'd bet Diesel doesn't ever press ol' Romeo again. The guy at the counter stared and ignored us until a customer came by and said you had to stand literally next to it to have it open. Then, the counter guy was bothered when we are inquired about lessons to get started. He fumbled around until he realized they were free and on Wednesdays. We asked about paddle rental and he said they had a lousy rental program and not to bother. We saw the paddles for sale on the wall and asked about them. He knew nothing about them and provided absolutely no value. They have spent a lot of money to set this place up and need to find someone else to work with customers. We both felt that the guy was either high or really didn't care! We will find somewhere else to pay for lessons, buy paddles, etc.

This is a great, relatively short par 3 nine hole course. I knew it was in there. I have driven…read morepassed the road to get to it 100+ times. Never tried it - until this morning. My kiddo just turned six and has been golfing for years now. I decided it was time to let him play a 'real adult course' after playing exclusively the First Tee par 3 courses around town. So first things first - the pro shop is out back of the building and a tiny bit tricky to locate the first time around. There's a bag drop out front, but doesn't need to be there. Just take your clubs straight back. The staff member who checked us in was very friendly. There is a discount for Junior golfers, but no such deal for veterans. All in all it was $25 to play (total for two of us) and we were able to tee off on time. The course is is great condition, and it is clear that they have a staff that cares about presentation and course management. The winding lake in the middle only brings water into play on a couple of the holes. The rest are pretty straight shots, and nothing is out of reach for most golfers. I think the longest was just short of 200 yards. We had a great day, and even though we had to wait at a number of tee boxes, the whole round only took aboutj 90 minutes. There is a very fun looking restaurant right as you step off the ninth green that we definitely want to try at some point, but it was a work day, so raincheck on that one. All in all, great experience.

They offer lessons, leagues (top dog tennis is awesome) and have items for rent/purchase. I tried pickleball for the first time my last time there. It is addicting and I can see why it has become such a popular sport. Similar to tennis but very different it is accessible to people of all ages. Just be careful. They give you quiet paddles to keep the noise down for surrounding businesses and residents. They renovated the space a while back and it is clean and well laid out. Since they are in Cherry Creek the parking can be challenging even with a private lot.
