Ok fine. Quality way down. Used to be a Chucky cheesy potato soup. This stuff tastes like out of a can and nasty. Hot sauce could not help it. Sent it back. I got London Broil. Ordered medium came out well done. Sent it back and ordered medium well and got medium. lol. Cant win with the kitchen-- but was edible and good taste. Except it was tough. I left at least half of it on my plate after chewing and spitting it out. Would still be chewing if I tried to eat it. They used to be tender, I got it here before, so they are buying a cheaper cut or not cleaning it correct. So HELLO cheap cut use meat tenderizer. They had 86d a couple items so some may want to pop in earlier if you're not flexible. Instead of the mini muffin basket we ordered the cinnamon roll. Both of us really liked it. It has the texture, density and cinnamon flavor like the classic. But the frosting is a nice mix of a sweet and touch of tart like cream cheese can be tart and delicious but not sour. Strawberries were an excellent side to this. Brought some more tart and sweet flavor to the dish. I wanted a more traditional grits, eggs and bacon meal. Stone ground grits were on point and quality of ingredients was forefront. Eggs were scrambled wet as ordered. I asked for my bacon to be so crispy that it could be used as a flag pole. They knocked it out of the park. Bacon if you stood it vertical didn't bend or sway. Just the way I like it. I also didn't find it to be too greasy like I sometimes find bacon. Their orange juice is exceptional. It is genuinely fresh squeezed. Having had fresh orange juice like squeezed right after picking from trees, I am a bit of an orange juice connoisseur and this hit the spot. Fruit bowl was fresh, ripe and plump. Definitely made same day and not premade or sitting. Partner enjoyed his tuna melt on sourdough. The cutest thing ever is that they cut a special shape out of the bread. They are friendly, they treat you like family, and are quick. To my knowledge, almost every entree comes with a trip to the salad bar. They have the BEST salad bar. DO NOT SKIP ON THE SALAD BAR! They also give you warm rolls with "Texas Roadhouse style" honey butter to start. I highly recommend the prime rib as an entree. Don't get me wrong, it's not the absolute best prime rib I have ever had, but it is up there. It has great flavor, is seasoned well, and is tender. Their creamy horseradish is just ok, but that does not ruin the quality of the meat. The last couple of times they put chopped onions in my mac-and-cheese, which was weird and didn't taste good at all, but luckily this time there were no chopped onions. Both my older and younger cousins got the mac-and-cheese also, and one said that the cheese was too bland, while the other said that the cheese was too strong (sharp). Me personally I think that it is on the more bland side, so Linebergers can take that advice and apply it into their recipe, but nonetheless it is still good. They have the best dessert called the "Lake Norman Mudd Pie," which is essentially a layer of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ice cream with hot fudge, whipped cream, and Oreo pieces. It is a good treat to have every once in a while, but is rich!! But, if you want a sweet treat, I would recommend opting for that.
