They try to turn you away every time. My 18-yo daughter has a retainer broken and she went in for help today after school, something she did not want to do as it is. They told her it would $100 to take a look and she could get in in a few weeks, and then they would tell her how much to fix it. This is typical, and only when she goes in alone. With a parent they treat you a little better, but they don't make it easy. When we call to express our concerns, they could care less. We saw the positive reviews, but those can be trusted about as much as Amazon reviews. I'm not alone with these issues, so if you're a gambler this is the place for you.

Wonderful experience with our three kids!…read more I felt like we were being sold a used car with the other local orthodontic offices we visited--many calls and 'deals' offered, to the point where I had to unsubscribe from their lists. They recommended immediate braces for my 10y/o, two teeth pulled, chains on the braces, and probably a second round (red flags all around). We went to Owen for a second opinion, on a recommendation. He was further from us, so I was hesitant. I am so glad I did. No braces until our son was almost 13, because all adult teeth need to be in. No teeth need to be pulled, no chains. An estimated 9 months for the entire process. Only one round and only braces--no chains, etc. Our daughter was done in about a year, and couldn't be happier with her results. Owen cost less than the other places, was quicker, no hard sell, no call backs and discounts and used-car-sales feel. Just a professional office with exceptional results. We couldn't be happier with the (usually) under-a-year-results! He does an app for checks, so most were extremely quick virtual video videos done on your own time, at home; office visits were maybe capped at 5 total for the entire year (some of those due to broken brackets, things outside of normal maintenance). Owen is a hidden gem. We have sent numerous friends here who had the same feel about the other places and the same feel about Owen's office and their braces experience with him (several less than 9 months!). Could not be happier. Grateful to have found him! Also--his co-Dr. Rippola is equally wonderful...we are happy to see both doctors!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Owen and his team. My TMJ had advanced to the point of…read morenot being able to fully open my mouth for 10 months. I tried botox, a soft diet, muscle relaxers, and a new bite guard from my dentist-- all with no results. I still couldn't fully open my mouth. I was eventually told by a maxillofacial doctor that I may need surgery, but my insurance wouldn't cover it. I called a minimum of 12 different ENTs and other providers in the area. All of them told me they don't offer treatment for TMJ, even though their websites stated the opposite. Thankfully, I found Dr. Owen. He made me a specialized bite guard (that he invented) that has helped me regain mobility and flexibility in my jaw again--- all without surgery. In fact, I could already tell a big difference just after the first visit. After suffering for 10 months, I'm back on track again with a full range of motion and little to no pain.

We went in for our consultation and it was a night and day difference between our previous office in California. The office was so nice and welcoming, and then they let me come back the entire visit (something I never got to do before). Dr. Gallagher went over the images and information right away and gave us a plan. We were ready to move forward and was able to get both boys braces within 1 week. Since we are new to the area we don't know the school schedule well, but luckily the office had the entire LTISD school schedule and we're able to help us navigate scheduling appointments so they didn't miss any school.
