I think this is my third or fourth time back for adjustments since I got a bottom denture from AFD. They are so accommodating and kind. They keep going until it is working for you. I think we finally worked out all the kinks and I was overwhelmed with emotion about how good my denture felt when I left today. All the staff is so personable and kind and I am so glad I found this group of excellent women. Highly recommend!!

I loved my previous dentist and was loyal to him but we relocated to Austin a little less than a year ago and so we can't go to Huntington Beach for cleanings anymore. No problem this women run business has all the cool tech and amazing client care I have come to adore and they have amazing bedside manner. I appreciate that your first appointment is thoroughly checking your baseline and you can see over your next cleanings what progress needs to be made and they track it for you. They have the coolest 3D imagery technology too. I also had my teeth whitened (over $1000) for my wedding and it whitened my teeth 2 -2 &1/2 levels which made a difference in the close up pictures! Because of them I'm more motivated to floss because I want to improve my progress! They are also incredible about trying to respect your time and schedule you if you have an emergency. (Individual results may vary but found them to be very accommodating)

Billie is giung on a temporary leave starting in May. I like van but it won't be the same. I entered the no cavity club. I just wish I didn't have to pay for nitrous every three months . It was exciting to enter the no cavity club.unfortunately, they didn't have earphones that fit my phone. Next time I will get each plugs. One of the things I like is that give you a mask for your eyes and a blanket to put around yourself. I get a squish toy and nice music. Thank you Dr . Burkhart for recommending him . My smile is ruined. I was sent to this location due to the VA being overbooked. I had a small…read moreoverlay of composite on my teeth (#8-9) from 2013 that closed a very small gap. It was a little worn down, but my teeth were in great shape. The doctor said he couldn't replace or smooth out the composite because it would make my teeth weak. He suggested veneers and a cleaning. I was initially against it, but he said he would just shave off a small portion of the teeth and place a very thin porcelain veneer on top. He assured me my smile would look exactly the same. On the day my teeth were prepped, I was asked to arrive 1.5 hours early. I thought I was coming in for the cleaning, but he was prepping for the veneers. My entire appointment was rushed. He prepped my teeth in 10 minutes tops and sent me home with hideous yellow temporary teeth. He claimed that was the only color he had in his office. The regret immediately set in. I realized he didn't take pride in his work that day. The veneers are huge. They tapper at a weird angle and are obviously uneven. My teeth feel tight and sensitive. I have gaps on the back of my teeth where the veneer connects to the natural tooth. Food will sometimes get stuck. He also hit both of my lateral incisors with the drill, resulting in a chipped tooth. I expressed my disappointment to the doctor before he glued them in. He told me that if he makes the veneers any shorter, he would have to re-prep and that could lead to a root canal. I left that day so defeted. The cleaning was also never scheduled. I posted a picture where you can see the chip, he left in my tooth that wasn't even supposed to be touched. I am so upset that I allowed him to do the veneers in the first place, I had a gorgeous smile. I now have to find a doctor who can fill the chipped tooth and replace the veneers that also take VA insurance. I am devastated. I truly believe that if I went to another doctor, I would not be in this predicament. They most likely would have replaced the composite instead of pushing for the veneers. Unfortunately, there are people out there who would rather make a quick buck than do the right thing. Advance Smile Center called me after I asked the VA to send a referral to another dentist. The receptionist tried to guilt me into making a follow-up appointment with the same doctor. She told me the right thing to do would be to allow him to fix his mistake. I will never let him near my teeth again, lesson learned.

Everything was good and no payment was asked for bc cleanings are covered. Kids needed a couple fillings. My son got his fillings and I was told the amount to pay as an in network patient. My son had another appointment and so did my daughter and I was told the amounts owed and Everything was paid current. 2 months later my husband got a cleaning and he asked if anything was needed and he was told everything was good. I found out in May from my insurance that we were out of network. I called and left a message for Judy and she left me a message the next day saying she just got notice we were out of network. I got a bill for almost 1k for cleanings and fillings. She put in my notes that she told me that we were out of network on day 1. Given that payment was never asked for at none of the 4 cleanings and they provided the amounts for me to pay when services were rendered for my 2 kids then that means she lied about notifying me we were out of network. Dr. Webb agreed to cut the bill in half but she is either bad at her job or if trying to get over on people. I'm giving 2 stars bc Judy has worked for him almost 30 years and he has to know how incompetent she is. I asked for a bill for each person individually and she couldn't do it. I asked for an email and she said her printer was down??? She asked if she could screenshot me a picture and she didn't even do that. She made this whole process a nightmare and I wonder in 30 years how many others she screwed over.

From Pam in the front office to both Dr. Burk's and Melanie, I could have never imagined I would have such a wonderful experience. I had so many X-rays of my teeth, which I never experienced at my previous office. Every X-ray was explained to me by Dr. Sara Burk, and recommendations provided. In the past several years, Dr. Burk has helped me, my husband and our two sons with fillings, tooth extractions, veneers, and anything else that has come up, and has done so cheerfully and with minimal pain and maximum efficiency and honesty. I've said before that Dr. Burk is a dentist that embraces the conservative route when it comes to his advice on dental procedures--the less is more approach. You always feel that the choice is ultimately yours and never feel that you are pushed to get extraneous procedures, as I have experienced elsewhere. I want to give an example of what a typical appointment is like with Dr. Burk: Today, as he helped my 9 year old through his first tooth extraction, he came out to the waiting room to talk us through it first. My son was understandably nervous, but Dr. Burk just gently walked us through it, then asked several times throughout the procedure what questions we had. His pain management technique is honestly the best ever -- a few quick little shots of local anesthetic, and you're numb. My son hardly felt anything. Five minutes into the procedure, he plunked the extracted tooth down on the tray, and my son didn't even realize what had happened. I know from previous experience that Dr. Burk's staff will text us in the coming days to check in and make sure everything is going well. Upon checking out, our hygienist told me that because Dr. Burk had ordered an additional x-ray beyond the one our orthodonist had initially provided, they weren't going to charge us for it. This is just another example of how honest this dentist is. Sadly, I don't know how common that is today, but I know for sure that as long as he is in practice, he's going to be our dentist.
