After the exam I immediately left and did not do the cleaning. When I sat in the exam chair expecting to discuss my oral health, she immediately commented on my clothing (which is not what I came in there for). I was simply wearing a lavender athleisure outfit, long pants long sleeve top and a hat. She mentioned how everything was purple and then she said "I'm glad your shoes are at least neutral." Ma'am. Why are you emotionally affected (she said she was "glad") by other women's clothing, especially when they are dressed modestly and not harming anyone? I can wear lavender or ANY color from head to toe if I wanted to and that shouldn't be a problem at all. What does this have to do with the health of my teeth? It was not in a complimentary way it was judgmental and rude for NO REASON. I responded by saying "they're just clothes" and she said something really strange to me after that. She literally responded saying "Yea, BUT....." and proceeded to say something completely irrelevant and rude. I was so confused. I came to check on my health and she is talking about the clothing/appearance of her customers in an unkind way. The rest of the staff was very nice, but I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. It's really unfortunate that I have to write this but no one deserves a medical professional to make unnecessary and rude comments on the clothing and appearance of their customers. Unprofessional and unacceptable. If you attend this office, expect the dentist to make snide rude remarks about your clothing. I don't do that to people, I believe in keeping high vibrations and uplifting and accepting everyone, their different styles, and advocating for health and wellness to have a long healthy and peaceful life. This office is not in line with that.

Unfortunately, I have a similar story to several recent reviews here. After moving, I decided to go to the closest dentist to me. I did not look at the reviews before going (won't make that mistake again!!) I want to stress that before this, I had not been to the dentist for three years. I expected some type of work (cavities etc) would need to be done. However, I take decent care of my teeth and had NEVER had a cavity or any type of dental work - besides wisdom teeth - done before this. Everyone was very very friendly, check in didn't take long, and overall very nice initial experience. Once in the room though, I waited for about 25 mins for things to get going. Once they started, they informed me that I had stage 2 periodontal disease, and that it was completely irreversible as I had 15% bone loss. They also informed me that I had 7 cavities that would need to be filled, along with several more that were on a watch list. I was shocked to say the least, and asked what I could do for it. They said I would need a deep cleaning, and asked if I wanted to do it today. At this point I was two hours into my appointment and hadn't had a cleaning or anything, so I told them I would need to discuss with the front and schedule it out. It was around $1700 worth of things that they said I needed to get one, and I was super panicked. I decided to get a second opinion before I committed to this, and went to see my previous dentist today. I requested my x rays from here, but never received them, so my other office ended up having to redo them. I do have a couple of cavities (not near what they said) but ZERO gum disease. Not even gingivitis. Here, my gum pockets were supposedly ranging from 4-6 mm, but at that dentist they were at a 2-3. I see some people love it here and that's great, but I will definitely not be coming back and just want to caution others, as this seems to be an issue in the last 3-4 months here.

I checked in at the front desk for my appointment and was brought in shortly after. The waiting area has a TV, coffee bar, and mini fridge with cold drinks. There are also other activities in the corner, like video games and coloring pages, great for kids. Ms. Diana, the dental hygienist, measured my blood pressure and took x-rays. She did a great job cleaning my teeth and it didn't hurt at all. You can choose your polish flavor - cherry or mint. There are two TVs in the examination room, one on the wall and one on the ceiling. I watched a movie on the ceiling TV to help distract me. Dr. Janice or Dr. Peter will do your examination after and check for cavities. They will let you know if any future treatments are needed and explain any concerns. The dental hygienist or front desk staff will help you schedule your next appointment. They are flexible and ask your preference for times or days of the week to match your availability. They also offer an in-house membership plan if you don't have dental insurance. Kids can get a goodie bag at the end with little toys or stickers along with oral care items. Everyone really put me at ease and the environment is clean. You are in good hands here!

I'm on a fixed income, so a realistic treatment plan is an absolute necessity for me. I'm finally getting my teeth cleaned for the first time in years! (You don't appreciate the small things, until you're unable to attain them). My Dental check up last year was a nightmare! I never got any treatment beyond X-Rays & an office visit. The Dental office I went to said I needed a $2200+ deep cleaning, de-scaling, & planing over multiple quadrants. They quoted me the price of a new car to fix my teeth. I couldn't finacially swing that, so I got no treatment at all. I want even offered the option of a basic cleaning. They also told me I had severe gum disease. Fearing hearing the same (or worse) this year, I dragged my feet on going to a new dentist. So sad, because I could've actuality used my benefits to enjoy 2 cleanings & fix my teeth at a more convenient pace! Now I'm scrambling to squeeze 2 fillings, a cleaning & a wisdom tooth extraction in during the Holidays...before my current Dental Plan goes away. Lesson learned. Not all dentists are the same! Some care, are honest, & want to see you get the treatment you need. I'm hoping I can find insurance in the Marketplace for 2023 that allows me to continue with Dr. Janice at K Family Dentistry. And no, I've never heard anything from them about getting a fancy toothbrush for a yelp review, although I probably wouldn't blame them for asking busy-yet-satisfied people like me to take their precious time to come here and review considering the extremity of the character assassination that has gone on. ***Why I Love Aspire Dental*** I'm particularly satisfied with Dr. Hall because he never pressures me to have services done that I don't want or need. I don't have any dental insurance and I have amazingly good teeth (never had a cavity), and so I don't like paying for unnecessary services and having a lot of x-rays. I know it's silly, but I'm particularly turned off by x-rays because of a thyroid condition I have and the fact that my mom recently died of cancer. Dr. Hall and his entire staff have been very understanding and accommodating and only require me to have the minimum required by regulations and they make sure I have a full lead smock with a thyroid collar. I take both of my children to Dr. Hall choosing him over pediatric dentists. They feel very at ease with him and they feel like everyone in the office notices them and is excited to see them. We've been to pediatric dentist offices in the past and found the kids are mostly shuttled to video games, movie stations, and the like instead of being doted on by staff. The staff talk to the kids, something they love and appreciate. We've had experiences elsewhere in which the dentist and staff only addressed me the entire time and the kids were treated like plants in the corner and so they super appreciate how they are treated not only like actual people but like VIPs by everyone at Aspire Dental, especially Dr. Hall.
