He was easy to work with and really listens to his patients concerns. I did Invisalign treatment here as well. Pilar was the head ortho rep when i started my Invisalign. Pilar was excellent and very upbeat , always a pleasure to see while i was there. While Invisalign took a lot longer then expected to finish treatment I'm pretty satisfied with the overall out come. The rest of the office staff is very friendly and welcoming and the treatment coordinator Lauren is very knowledgeable and was able to address all of my concerns in the best way possible. Overall the office is in a convenient location and I would 10/10 recommend Dr.Mun and his team to anyone in the area. 1 star taken away as I had a emergency root canal that was needed, dr.mun was not available and the dr I did see (don't have a clue what her name is) attempted to drain and fill my tooth while in active Infection before even prescribing antibiotics. I have had some tooth work in the past and am well aware that wasn't the brightest idea, I decided to go elsewhere for immediate attention due to this experience.

Unfortunately, they find a way to charge you for it. We received an estimate for our cleanings (which they wouldn't just do on our first appointment) and other work which came out to be significantly more than other places I've gone. Even in-network, their charges came to $200-$300 more for a crown than I've paid in the past AFTER what insurance covers. Plus, they want to up-charge you for other things, like a "laser package" deep cleaning. Shouldn't this just be included in your cleaning if it's something they highly recommend for most patients? If money isn't an issue for you then this place might be fine but for our young family every dollar matters and this place just isn't for us.

He always takes the time to explain everything including the billing so you understand your options and what they cost. He has done a crown for me, and filled a lot of cavities. (I have really bad teeth). He even did work for me while I was pregnant, which is tricky because you have to use different anesthesia. He also sees my two daughters, age 6 and 3, and has done a lot of work on my oldest daughter who unfortunately inherited my bad teeth. If he is concerned about the age of the child and the anesthesia used, he won't do the work. He is not willing to put your child's life at risk which I greatly appreciate, given the recent news stories about kids who have died from dental anesthesia. My youngest daughter has a cavity that she's had for a year, they will fill it when she's four so they don't have to put her under. In the meantime they're monitoring it and they make sure to use the fluoride paint on it every time to slow the decay. The front desk staff is so polite and friendly and accommodating. I can't tell you how many times I've had to reschedule appointments because something came up, and they're always so nice about it. They know you when you walk in the door and offer you water in case you're thirsty. All in all a perfect family dental office.

Amazing experience! I truly felt like a family member. I didn't want a big box dental experience…read more I was tired of driving to Cedar Park to see my denistry office of 20 years. My hygienist there recommended Burk Family Denistry right here in Pflugerville. From Pam in the front office to both Dr. Burk's and Melanie, I could have never imagined I would have such a wonderful experience. I had so many X-rays of my teeth, which I never experienced at my previous office. Every X-ray was explained to me by Dr. Sara Burk, and recommendations provided. She even cleaned my teeth, which I have never had done by a dentist yet, only by a hygienist. A total game changer for me. My visit there made my day.

Just want to update my review from several years ago to say that I am still completely satisfied…read morewith Dr. Burk and his team as my family's dentistry team. In the past several years, Dr. Burk has helped me, my husband and our two sons with fillings, tooth extractions, veneers, and anything else that has come up, and has done so cheerfully and with minimal pain and maximum efficiency and honesty. I've said before that Dr. Burk is a dentist that embraces the conservative route when it comes to his advice on dental procedures--the less is more approach. You always feel that the choice is ultimately yours and never feel that you are pushed to get extraneous procedures, as I have experienced elsewhere. I want to give an example of what a typical appointment is like with Dr. Burk: Today, as he helped my 9 year old through his first tooth extraction, he came out to the waiting room to talk us through it first. My son was understandably nervous, but Dr. Burk just gently walked us through it, then asked several times throughout the procedure what questions we had. His pain management technique is honestly the best ever -- a few quick little shots of local anesthetic, and you're numb. My son hardly felt anything. Five minutes into the procedure, he plunked the extracted tooth down on the tray, and my son didn't even realize what had happened. I know from previous experience that Dr. Burk's staff will text us in the coming days to check in and make sure everything is going well. Upon checking out, our hygienist told me that because Dr. Burk had ordered an additional x-ray beyond the one our orthodonist had initially provided, they weren't going to charge us for it. This is just another example of how honest this dentist is. Sadly, I don't know how common that is today, but I know for sure that as long as he is in practice, he's going to be our dentist.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Kwak, the assistants, and all the staff I encountered were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The office itself is top-notch with high-tech equipment that made the entire experience smooth and efficient. Honestly, it felt more like a day spa than a dental office--so relaxing and comfortable! I really appreciated the care and attention they gave throughout my visit. If you're looking for a dentist in Austin, I highly recommend Lyyke Dentistry. After the exam I immediately left and did not do the cleaning. When I sat in the exam chair expecting to discuss my oral health, she immediately commented on my clothing (which is not what I came in there for). I was simply wearing a lavender athleisure outfit, long pants long sleeve top and a hat. She mentioned how everything was purple and then she said "I'm glad your shoes are at least neutral." Ma'am. Why are you emotionally affected (she said she was "glad") by other women's clothing, especially when they are dressed modestly and not harming anyone? I can wear lavender or ANY color from head to toe if I wanted to and that shouldn't be a problem at all. What does this have to do with the health of my teeth? It was not in a complimentary way it was judgmental and rude for NO REASON. I responded by saying "they're just clothes" and she said something really strange to me after that. She literally responded saying "Yea, BUT....." and proceeded to say something completely irrelevant and rude. I was so confused. I came to check on my health and she is talking about the clothing/appearance of her customers in an unkind way. The rest of the staff was very nice, but I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. It's really unfortunate that I have to write this but no one deserves a medical professional to make unnecessary and rude comments on the clothing and appearance of their customers. Unprofessional and unacceptable. If you attend this office, expect the dentist to make snide rude remarks about your clothing. I don't do that to people, I believe in keeping high vibrations and uplifting and accepting everyone, their different styles, and advocating for health and wellness to have a long healthy and peaceful life. This office is not in line with that.
