Went for replacing a filling in the last few months, they discovered other cavities that had to be removed. Had to speak with endodontist about potential root canal, they cleared me as fine -- the standard cavity removal was fine it wasn't deep enough to require a root canal - prior to the dentist doing the actual removal. **Remember this detail. They do the initial removal, using lidocaine in the gums to do the removal. The dentist used the side of the drill for the tooth, but the tip of the drill stabbed, dragged, and tore apart my upper gums/cheeks! Next morning the top/side of my cheeks were WHITE and in immense pain that it was hard to eat. **It was during this appointment they tried telling me very "assuringly" that I needed to get the root canal done, which I informed them that that was incorrect as I spoke to the endodontist myself and they said it wasn't needed. They went and confirmed it with the endodontist and pretended like they never argued with me about it. Nice. During this appointment, I understand now that she not only destroyed the large area of tissue inside of mouth but also shaved off way more than was supposed to be taken out off of my teeth! I decided to ride it out with my torn apart gums/cheek but brought it up when I went in for my permanent crowns. (I should have been even more vocal about this, but I've been a patient of the medical industry long enough to know being ignored by the medical professionals that are supposed to help you is the status quo! I didn't want to waste my time being ignored, I digress.) Permanent crowns appointment, I bring up my gums damage which is still slightly visible after healing over the course of two weeks between appointments. They say, "Ah. Y'know. That happens. She does that sometimes. Anyways!" Sorry, ripping up the inside of your mouth to shreds is NORMAL? That's a sick joke. It takes at least twice as long than the appointment is supposed to take because when they removed the temporary crown and did ANYTHING to clean it out to put the permanent one in - it was excruciating (because the nerve is exposed!) They had to numb my mouth AGAIN because it was so excruciating. They also couldn't get my mouth to stop bleeding for over an hour DUE TO BEING TOO CARELESS AND AGGRESSIVE WITH MY GUMS. I left the appointment thinking the pain I still felt was a natural normal byproduct of removing temporary moving into permanent crowns. Then weeks turned into months, and I wasn't able to chew on the right side of my mouth without excruciating pain -- STILL CAN'T. Can't drink cold things on that side of my mouth etc. I called informing them of my issue a month or two later, saying what I think happened and I would like to be seen regarding this issue and that I do not want to be seen by the same dentist as I'm confident she was the issue as the only person who did the actual dental work. They said, "oh, okay. we'll reach out." I am here around 5 months later, completely ignored by this office and with genuine nerve damage in my mouth. I am now being forced to seek legal representation for this absolute negligence and malpractice in order to repair what I can of the damage done to me by this office/dentist. Incredibly unprofessional to argue with a patient and belittle their pain that wasn't accusatory, rather simply asking how the pain is coming about and asking them as medical professionals, I am supposed to trust, how they can help me. Do NOT go here to this office or at the very least do not seek or take care under the main dentist. If she's not there now, she was the one there back in July to September. BUT there were several Dental Assistants that were equally as dismissive as the dentist was as well. Hope this helps! *Never written a review & I don't want to ever have to do one again, but it seems communicating directly with the office privately isn't how this will be acknowledged. So, I hope this helps get to a responsive channel.

I shouldn't be surprised that she and her daughters go here - nothing but the best for them! The chairs that you sit/lay in to be treated are massage chairs! I've never had such a thorough cleaning as I did here. My teeth got that well needed cleaning & they removed the built up tartar. The x Rays were very thorough too - I believe they took over 10 photos. That was a bit painful because the piece I had to bite to take the x Ray didn't fit in my mouth. Aside from a general cleaning, I also came in for Invisalign and to fix three chips in my front two teeth. Dr. Moossy effortlessly filled in my chipped teeth; I'm very happy with the outcome. For Invisalign, I could do it at this dentist & they send it to Dr. Kunik, an orthodontist, to tell Invisalign what to do. I like how they say the benefits of Invisalign besides the cosmetic aspect. Glad my coach recommended me to go here!

He numbed me up--slowly and painlessly! He then loosened the tooth--using a slow, careful rocking notion. When the tooth was completely loosened and unmoored from its dock, like a mussel, he lifted it out--painlessly, and without the drama of my previous extraction! I had no pain last night and I have no pain today! But wait! There's More! Piling on the Potential for Pain and Drama at the Dentist! I also got a crown removed and a temporary crown installed yesterday, on the #3 molar, next door to #2 extraction. This was done before the extraction, to keep the blood and gut potential out of the vacuum, as nature abhors a vacuum!there was the usual loud banging drilling pushing and pulling.then pushing tapping on typewriters ribbon, then more drilling to place the temporary crown that fit perfectly. I thought perhaps it was the anesthesia that kept me from ever feeling the temporary. But no, I don't even notice it today. So that's two potentially very painful dental procedures, done painlessly. As a dental patient, That is everything I could ask for! Dr. Shelton has been my dentist for 30 years. He listens and he is kind and caring. I also think his pricing is very fair and reasonable. Dental care could be, should be less in a just world. But I believe the technology that has made once painful and imprecise dental, painless and perfect is Worth It!
