Do Not Take Your Child Here…read more I have never left a Yelp review in my life, but I created an account just to leave a 1-star review. This is the worst medical practice, of any specialty, that I have ever had the misfortune to interact with. My child is an orthodontics patient. He has now had 4 different orthodontists, over the course of a single set of braces, because the orthodontists keep quitting, and they keep hiring new ones. Every orthodontist has a new treatment plan, and every orthodontist has made errors that prolongs the treatment. The first orthodontist could not glue the brackets on appropriately. We had brackets falling off mere hours after an appointment, and he would never apologize or change technique, but would instead just blame my child. Another orthodontist lectured my child about wearing his rubber bands incorrectly, until we showed her photographic evidence that he was wearing them exactly as she had instructed. Another recommended filing down one of his teeth (!), which we declined. That one bounced after less than 6 months with the practice, and the most recent orthodontist said that this (painful, expensive) intervention was be totally unnecessary. If I had the money, I would have started over with another practice, but unfortunately I've already paid these people and I don't have second-set-of-braces-for-one-child money. I took my other child for a consultation with another orthodontist, and mentioned that my oldest child was with Lone Star. She said, and I quote, "Yikes. That's a bad practice. I think it's been taken over by a VC firm, which is why it's constant turnover." I haven't even touched on the disorganized and understaffed front office, or the difficulty communicating with the office in case of urgent matters. 0/10, worst medical office ever. Do not trust your child's teeth with these people!

I went to Dr. Watson because a tooth under a bridge broke. He recommended an implant but told me it would take a year to complete it. He gave me an option of a 4 crown bridge which I decided to go with. The first Bridge broke in pieces within a year. it was under warranty so he put in another. That one cracked within 6 months. It too was under warranty so he replaced it again. The third bridge was not cemented in properly or it was put on over decay, and it came loose on one tooth. He refused to cut off the bridge and replace it because it was not under warranty since it was his error, he would have to pay for the new bridge. He wanted to leave the bridge on for several weeks to see if it loosened on the back tooth and could be taken off without destroying the Bridge. It didn't loosen so he sent me to a specialist at my expense who said she could not remove the bridge without cutting it off. When I went back to Dr. Watson, instead of offering to fix the Bridge he offered me money (a portion of what a new bridge would cost) for me to go away and find another dentist, and to sign a non-disclosure. He actually said "this is the last time you and I will ever see each other." He suggested I take the money and go to a dentist that used laser to have it taken off. I called 4 dental offices that used laser and none recommended trying to remove a bridge with laser. I did find another dentist to go to and had the bridge removed. By this time the tooth under the loose bridge was decayed and a hole had formed in the gum between the two roots. The tooth had to be pulled and I now need 2 implants and a new bridge. I have filed a complaint with the Board of Dental Examiners and received a letter stating that based on their preliminary investigation they have decided to go forward with a formal investigation.

I started Cosmetic treatments a year and a half ago. Dr. Pedersen walked me every step of the treatment and explained why each treatment was needed. This transformation was beyond what I had hoped for. I have a Class 3 Bite and was told the only treatment was very invasive surgery. I had given up on ever liking my smile.
