This is my second review for this restaurant. The first time I came here, I only came for some drinks. This time I came in and had some delicious food. I ordered the three pepper burger and it was so delicious! Full of flavor and it was spicy but not too spicy that I couldn't it eat all lol I would recommend to anyone that loves a little a spice because this burger was fantastic! And the truffle fries were so good! My boyfriend ordered the poutine burger and he rated it 8/10 - he said it was really good. The ambiance, decor, and patio are fantastic -- although a bit loud for our group. The music was so loud we found ourselves competing with the music to be heard at our own table for conversation. Service was initially outstanding up until the moment we got the bill. We didn't see the server again and our waters sat empty for quite some time as we wrapped up conversation. The food was their shining star. I ordered their Burger Dip (their take on the French dip sandwich but with a burger patty). Delish! They have a great selection of whiskey and beer. We tried some of their cocktails and wouldn't do that again -- can't say they're craft in any way. read more

When I went to this restaurant I figured with the place having a bar that my family would be able to watch a game 7 of the NBA playoffs, I was disappointed when they had soccer on and some documentary on the other TV. When I placed my request to have the NBA game turned on my requested was denied and we had to watch skateboarding after the soccer game was over. With that aside the food was very good and the service was very friendly. I had the large sesame chicken salad, for a salad that size there could have been a little more chicken. My wife had the BLT Chop Chop salad, my sons ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich, and the Fatted Sow burger. Bother if those sandwiches were great as well. read more

I was impressed with this place! I got the Burger Dip, which is basically a French Dip sandwich as a burger. It was delicious! It was rich with bold flavor. The bread was a ciabatta bread, which held up nicely when dipped in the au jus sauce. The fries were fine. They were average fries. However, the Parmesan truffle topping that you can get on the fries was incredible!!!! Definitely worth the extra cost. The dipping sauce for the fries was also really good and unique tasting. The chocolate shake was also just average. The star was the burger and Parmesan truffle topping. The prices seemed reasonable and the staff was welcoming. I wanted to start with the service... quick to get seated - granted we sat at the bar & quick to be waited on. Our waitress - Aubrey W was beyond patient as well. I love to ask questions when I see so many appealing things on the menu especially at a newly opened place. I asked Aubrey to surprise me cocktail wise between two I pondered & she nailed it - Gardner's Gimlet. Again she was so patient to chat with us & give us insight - true testimony from her on items I asked about. My friend ordered the Caprese grilled cheese with waffle fries, hold the Tom & after first bite said it was "HEAVENLY" - direct quote from his mouth. I went with the Mini Stack loaded (kids burger with onions, Tom, etc.) with waffle fries. This was the kids version of a burger, I wasn't overly hungry so I went for something simple & per Aubrey's explanation the mini stack was truly the perfect size. I have ordered here MULTIPLE times and love the 3 pepper bomb burger and USED to like the chop chop salad. However, the last THREE times I have ordered the salad for pick up, I was given a sad little amount of unfresh/wilted "lettuce/greens", soggy bacon, and a tbsp or so of the corn. FOR $18!!! In the future if anything I will just purchase the dressing and make my own salad at home. Hate it when good quality restaurants start to not care anymore, and given it has consistently been happening now, I have to believe this is how it will continue to be in the future =/ I also only order pick up because the service is not very friendly. I've had a nice bartender ONE time while I was waiting for my food, but the other times everyone seems angry/annoyed to have customers. read more

We were excited to try this place. It looked really good and it seemed to be patronized fairly well. Unfortunately it was not all we hoped it would be. Initially, the service was friendly and though it remained friendly, it was inattentive. We had to ask for drink refills to which never came. When we asked for a side of sauce, it took an extra lengthy time to receive it. The restaurant had business but it was not busy. Also, they seemed to have plenty of servers. What we ordered: Street corn 8 out of 10, these were quite good. They add a little Panko to the outside for some crunch but in my opinion, this is not needed and throws the texture off a bit. Buffalo tempura cauliflower: 6 out of10. The sauce was spicy and really tasty but the batter was much too thick Burger dip aka a French dip with a burger patty instead of roast beef. 6.5 out of 10. We loved the bun and the grilled caramelized onions. It was a little bland and the sauce they serve on the side (not the au jus, that was fine) was a little odd. The waffle fries were really good. It was $3.95 for a plain ice tea that we never got refills on. The tea was weak and not great. We wanted to love this place and while we did enjoy some of the food, the service was not on par. The prices are steep and there are just too many other really good dining options in the area. My suggestion is to try something else. Boo! read more

Came here on a whim and was able to get a table with a 15 min wait. Ordered loco Moco fries, salmon sandwich w/ Parmesan truffle fries and the three pepper burger w/ waffle fries. Drink wise, I love that you can order a flight of beer and they had a variety of drink options. Even the shake has booze in it (which you can get the shake without alcohol). Overall everything tasted good but the loco moco fries were a pass for me. The gravy was salty, the fries were over salted to the point the fried egg had a bitter/salty crunch. read more

This is a nice casual dining burger joint. They have a nice bar with some great drinks and I love that they feature daily specials. The drinks really are impressive. The staff is great, very friendly and they don't let your cup run empty. I ordered the salmon sandwich and the flavors were great but the salmon was overcooked and I I hate to say it but dry...The calamari is definitely something to try! I thought they did a great job with that dish and I'd come back for that for sure. read more

I really wanted to give this place more stars, and I think they can get there, but they need some consistency and quality control first. We actually went twice back to back days. Once because we were in the area and were craving a burger, and once the next night because my sister wanted to try it. It was busy both times, though definitely not as hectic the second night. We got sat almost immediately, and our server greeted us quickly, but that is where the quickness ended. I think that people are going to be understanding with higher wait times for food, if the food is hot when it comes out, which it wasn't. Particularly the loaded fries. The gravy was luke warm and nothing on the plate was warm enough to melt the little pieces of cheese. That said, the flavors were pretty good. The burgers are good. They have a sort of smashburger or Freddy's sort of feel. Thin patty that's crisp on the edges. Lots of interesting options too in terms of toppings like PB&J and French dip. The kids meal was actually a great deal. A decent size burger with fries and an ice cream sunday. Honesly, if I ever went back I would probably order it for myself. The big thing here is their whiskey, though the night I went with my sister, she asked for a fairly popular whiskey that it turned out they don't carry. If whiskey is your thing then hopefully they continue to expand their selection. That said, you can see they have a lot! The setting is nice. Clean, open concept. But cramped and definitely a ton of traffic, especially when it gets busy. One more thing, the first time we were there my glass was grimy on the outside. Not sure if that was residue from the dishwasher or my servers hand. And, I did experience some intense tummy distress later that night, but the two might not be related. The waffle fries and burgers do not disappoint. The service is excellent. Ambiance is a little lacking. The price you pay is a little higher than I'd like and the soda is usually flat or tastes slightly off. I'd recommend going to Costco near by. Buying the gift cards and then going. Parking was crazy! But this place looked really cool from the outside, and we have been wanting to try it out for a while now. Turns out, well worth the crazy parking lot. The burger was the best part of the meal, super juicy, flavorful sauce, and awesome toppings as well- I loved the grilled pear! The waffle fries were good, but once someone pointed out that they tasted like cheddar ruffles, and couldn't taste anything but that... maybe if they were less crispy, they'd be better. Biggest selling point for me- they didn't charge for extra ranch! I'm weird, but if a restaurant charges extra for ranch, I have no forgiveness. Great Dinner- 10/10 eat! read more

Met some friends here today for the first time. Most of us enjoyed our food, there wasn't much to the Asian chicken salad my friend got. She was least happy with her meal. I tried the half size chop chop salad with salmon added. It was good but I think the prices on all of our food were a bit too high, even considering inflation. The 2 friends that tried burgers said they were good, but none of us were overly impressed. The service was pretty slow, the server was attentive but the time it took for the food to come out was about 30 min. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. I probably won't go back, it's not close to my home and didn't make enough of an impression to go out of my way to eat there. read more

This place was really good when I went in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. It wasn't overly crowded like it usually is, the first time I tried this place it was gross and I didn't think I would ever go back but I gave it another try and have to say it was much better and I could of just ordered the wrong thing the first time. Great service! We were seated quickly and our water glasses never went empty. The food is so good. Think greasy spoon type of fare. It is a burger joint. But it was a sinful burger. The cocktails are so good too. They have some wonderful house options that are a great addition to the burger. Opening day. This is not your everyday burger place. Ambiance: Similar to a bar as it's quite loud with fairly loud music. This should be a surprise I guess because it's part of the brand. Ok. It's LOUD. Conversation is a bit difficult. The bar tender banging the ice lock. She definite got a workout. That noise could go away and nobody would complain. Service. Ok it was obvious it was opening day. They definitely got the rah rah about being attentive. They could wait a little to clear the plates cause they kept trying to take them while we were still eating. They were most definitely over staffed which makes sense for opening day. I don't know if I e complained about to much service, but this was close. Our waitress Ariel was very good. She took our order in a timely manner and the food was quick. I'm sure things will get smoother the longer they're open. Food: uh yum. We got the Mexican corn appetizer. That's a hit. So good. My wife got the house burger. She said it tasted great. The one complaint is that the shredded lettuce got soggy with all the sauce. Otherwise delicious. I got the truffle mushroom burger. I can't remember the real name but it's the last burger on the menu. Such a complex flavor. Seriously one of the best burgers I've had. The only reason I won't order it next time is because I want to try others. Let's talk fries. The normal cut fries are really good but don't waste your time with them. Get the waffle fries and send me a check later, cause you'll owe me. So good. We spent about $60 including tip. We didn't get alcohol so you know the bill will skyrocket if you do. Oh and the soda. It's bar soda. Low quality flat soda. That could be the best improvement. Hey it's Utah and there's a lot of soda drinkers here. Stepping up the sofa game would be my biggest suggestion. We had such a great experience here! Everything from the food, to the service, to the environment were awesome. I had been hesitant to come here when they first opened, as the reviews were a bit scathing. But our neighbors were going so we decided to tag along to try it. We were super impressed by the food (I got the burger dip, which was literally one of the best burgers I have had in years!) and my husband got some sort of mushroom burger which he loved as well. Pretty much the whole table got the burger dip, it was unanimous that it was a must try. Our server was super sweet and accommodating of our large-ish party, especially of our 5 year old neighbor who kept asking her for funny requests. We will definitely be back again to get that burger dip! read more

For those who drink, their drink menu is extensive as well as their whiskey selection. My husband and shared a the Brussel sprouts, the breading was fantastic nice and crispy and the jam that goes with is perfectly balanced sweet and spicy. We also got our s'more's shake to go.
