If you're a fan of creatively flavored burgers, Stack was made for you. They have a long list of fun flavor combinations -- some of which I've never seen before. Truthfully, my expectations were very low. So I was ecstatic when the food tasted as good as it did. I loved my Bahn Mi burger and my brother couldn't get enough of the Mozzarella Burger. We also tried the queso and the Brussel sprouts and both were adequate. The burgers are the true heroes! The reason for the missing stars is because the service was very very poor and our table was not clean. We went in around 3 PM on a Saturday with minimal diners inside and we waited to be seated and served like it was a busy Friday night. The restaurant is very small but it also seems to be understaffed. We almost left twice -- once when we were waiting to be seated (we were told 5 minutes and waited nearly 20 with no additional communication) and then again when we were seated at our table and weren't serviced for 10+ additional minutes and we saw how dirty it was. (Writing this, I am shocked we stayed.) Despite the mediocre service, I will go back to try another burger. Which is saying something!
Stack 571 was ok. The ambiance was decent. We sat down outside and it took a bit of time for someone to take our order. The menu had a good variety of things and was easy to navigate...I ended up ordering the slider sampler. It came with three huge sliders, a side, and a drink for $20 so it was a really good deal. I got the banh mi, sow, and pb&j. Honestly, the pb&j burger is the only one worth it to get. Their truffle Parmesan fries were good but nothing too special. My husband got the poutine burger, which was very bland. Overall, the burgers were on the dry, lukewarm side and the only good burger was the PB&J one. We also got the queso fundido, but it was strange... the texture was like hummus or beans, and it was very disappointing. I felt the food was overpriced for the quality. Their happy hour is every day from 3-6pm and the price was decent for the offerings on it. Lots to improve before we consider coming again.
This was the BEST street corn I've ever had. It was so delicious - a little bit of a challenge eating it at first but once you figure it out. It's so so good! The burgers were filling and had so much flavor too. There's a lot of options on the menu for alch too.
Had heard good things about Stack. Coming highly recommended and with my son's basketball tournament close by we stopped in for lunch. It's a nice spot in a growing area, trendy strip mall. Fun whiskey bar vibe, but good for the whole family. My first impression was that it was a bit spendy for burgers, $18 to $20. But once you dig into it you understand why. First it comes with fries or beer battered onion rings and the quality is very apparent. I'd call it a good value. We started with the Nashville Chicken Wings, our server said they were a little on the hot side as they come with jalapeño slaw. Might have been just this batch but there was very little heat. But the flavor was amazing, and they come out crispy, just the way I like them. My son said they are the best wings he's ever had, and he really likes wings. 5/5 I tried the Burger Dip, Dutch crunch roll, caramelized onions, bit of a garlic and cheese. Our server and a friend recommended and it was very good. Comes with herb au jus to dip. I'm not a big dip sandwich guy, but this was great. Big enough for two, cooked to requested temperature perfectly. 5/5 My son ordered the kids hamburger, they let him add bacon ($3) for no charge, came with fries, drink, and a small sundae. He thought they really loaded the kids meal with value. 5/5 Sever was great with good suggestions and very responsive. Great experience! Many other things on the menu that I'd like to try. So we'll be back.
First time here. The PB& J was unequivocally the best. The jalapeño was remarkable with the pickled onions, cilantro and lettuce. That was my favorite
Such delicious burgers!! They waitress was very friendly and food was brought fast. We love burgers and we have tried a lot all around the valley, honestly these were excellent! The patty was juicy, mushrooms were cooked great, parmesan fries were crispy and... just delicious. We sat on the patio and it had a lovely date. Very recommended!
Food quality: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Value: 4/5 First time trying Stack 571 and it was a ok experience. Our wait was about 20 minutes during a Saturday night, which wasn't too bad. The AC didn't seem to be working when we walked in the door and it was just as hot inside as it was outside, so we opted to site outside. Unfortunately there were a ton of flies around each table outside - not sure if this normal, but maybe some fly traps would be nice to have so that guests don't have to constantly swat at the flies coming for their food. The service was pretty slow and our server kept forgetting parts of our order, I'm sure they were just overwhelmed since there were more tables than servers. The tables that didn't have people sitting in them did not get cleaned the entire time we were there. When the food finally arrived, it was pretty good and flavors were on point. Everything was still hot and fresh - I was surprised. Might have been an off day, but willing to try again when it's less busy.
Still terrific service months after first opening. We really enjoyed the Buffalo Calamari and Queso on our last visit. Restaurant was packed, but we were able to snag some chairs at the bar. Delicious cocktails and a ridiculous amount of draft beers to choose from.
My fave thing about this place are the tempura oyster mushrooms - AMAZING! They aren't over-battered and are fried perfectly. The truffle taste makes them even better. It does not come with sauce, so I typically ask them for a side of each sauce they got. The Slider Sample Combo is such a great deal. I got the 571, poutine, and banh mi. They aren't that mini for a slider so it definitely fills you up! Also, it comes with fries/salad AND a full size shake! Nice value for all that food. I got the full size PB & J burger, lettuce wrapped. I greatly appreciate them accommodating my lettuce wrap request. The burgers were nice and juicy! I got a side of caesar salad with my PB & J burger. They did NOT tell me the salad was extra, so that was a bummer. It was $5 extra. I would've appreciated a heads up. Service was fine. I love the location of this place! This shopping center is my favorite in Utah. Great outdoor seating and indoor seating options. Nice and clean ambiance but can get windy out there
If you're a burger and whiskey person, this is up you're alley! The environment in the restaurant is clean and bright. I love the look of their bar and the garage look. I tried the truffle burger. I would describe all their burgers as heavy, flavorful, and just the ultimate burger. I can hardly finish the full burger. All the burgers come with a fry option: regular, waffle, or Parmesan (Parmesan with an up charge). I don't think you can go wrong with any burger choice. The crispy brussel sprouts appetizer was really good! My favorite part was the carmelized onion and kimchi puree. It brought a uniqueness to the appetizer. I also really enjoyed the fried green tomatoes appetizer however the batter kind of took over the green tomatoe. The part that made it a nice take to the dish was fresh cherry tomatoes were added to help balance the fried heavy part of it. I just wish the batter was lighter. My choice of cocktail was Godfather. I thought it was going to come out as some type cocktail mix, but it came out as Old Fashion's sister. Regardless I like whiskey and it was still good and strong! Though it's a whiskey joint, they do have other alcoholic choices outside of whiskey. They have an extensive list of options including beer.
Came on a Sunday afternoon. Not too busy. They had the Chiefs vs Bears Sunday football game on which was cool. Current whiskey count: 156 Ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was good. I got the burger of the month - cabbage slaw, onion rings, bacon, pickles, BBQ sauce, lettuce and I'm probably missing something. Pretty good burger. Really big too! Medium-well was right on. Nice atmosphere. Clean and spacious. I like how they have paper towel dispensers on the table. They also have outdoor seating under a balcony. It's expensive and more than I wanted to pay for a burger. $18 for the burger alone.
We had the burger of the month which was the Jimmy Burger. It was a big burger with pulled pork and crispy onion strings. It had a wonderful smoky bbq sauce that I wish I had more of. I had the truffle Parmesan fries that were also really good. It is a little expensive for a burger but I thought it was worth it. The wife had the grilled cheese caprese and loved it also. This is my second review for this restaurant. The first time I came here, I only came for some drinks. This time I came in and had some delicious food. I ordered the three pepper burger and it was so delicious! Full of flavor and it was spicy but not too spicy that I couldn't it eat all lol I would recommend to anyone that loves a little a spice because this burger was fantastic! And the truffle fries were so good! My boyfriend ordered the poutine burger and he rated it 8/10 - he said it was really good. I really like how there is outside seating to enjoy the beautiful weather. I would recommend this place. read more
The ambiance, decor, and patio are fantastic -- although a bit loud for our group. The music was so loud we found ourselves competing with the music to be heard at our own table for conversation. Service was initially outstanding up until the moment we got the bill. We didn't see the server again and our waters sat empty for quite some time as we wrapped up conversation. The food was their shining star. I ordered their Burger Dip (their take on the French dip sandwich but with a burger patty). Delish! They have a great selection of whiskey and beer. We tried some of their cocktails and wouldn't do that again -- can't say they're craft in any way. read more

Super quick seating at 12 on a Wednesday. Waiter easily answered all our questions and gave recommendations for every palate. My friend's daughter got a chocolate shake and was a little frustrated that she couldn't drink it through the straw right away but once it started to melt she said it was really really good and she liked the chocolate chips in it. My friend got the 571 burger and said it was pretty good. My other friend got the Burger Dip with no au jus because the burger itself sounded good and she said it was but she wished it had more caramelized onion on it. And I felt similarly about my PB&J burger. The burger was literally dripping grease but had the thinnest possible smear of peanut butter and jelly on it. If I order a PB&J burger, I want to be able to taste the PB&J. And if it's so greasy it's gonna drip, maybe dripping jam would be a more pleasant experience anyway! The meat was cooked nicely and tasted good and I really liked the gluten-free bun as well. The fries were fine and I did not like the sauce that came with them. I thought it was too mustardy? My friend said it tasted like tartar sauce? And as a Utahn I am not into ketchup on my fries so both options were bad. If I come back I'll pay more for a salad on the side. read more

When I went to this restaurant I figured with the place having a bar that my family would be able to watch a game 7 of the NBA playoffs, I was disappointed when they had soccer on and some documentary on the other TV. When I placed my request to have the NBA game turned on my requested was denied and we had to watch skateboarding after the soccer game was over. With that aside the food was very good and the service was very friendly. I had the large sesame chicken salad, for a salad that size there could have been a little more chicken. My wife had the BLT Chop Chop salad, my sons ordered the Nashville Chicken sandwich, and the Fatted Sow burger. Bother if those sandwiches were great as well. read more

I was impressed with this place! I got the Burger Dip, which is basically a French Dip sandwich as a burger. It was delicious! It was rich with bold flavor. The bread was a ciabatta bread, which held up nicely when dipped in the au jus sauce. The fries were fine. They were average fries. However, the Parmesan truffle topping that you can get on the fries was incredible!!!! Definitely worth the extra cost. The dipping sauce for the fries was also really good and unique tasting. The chocolate shake was also just average. The star was the burger and Parmesan truffle topping. The prices seemed reasonable and the staff was welcoming. The place had a good ambiance but was a little loud for me. read more

I wanted to start with the service... quick to get seated - granted we sat at the bar & quick to be waited on. Our waitress - Aubrey W was beyond patient as well. I love to ask questions when I see so many appealing things on the menu especially at a newly opened place. I asked Aubrey to surprise me cocktail wise between two I pondered & she nailed it - Gardner's Gimlet. Again she was so patient to chat with us & give us insight - true testimony from her on items I asked about. My friend ordered the Caprese grilled cheese with waffle fries, hold the Tom & after first bite said it was "HEAVENLY" - direct quote from his mouth. I went with the Mini Stack loaded (kids burger with onions, Tom, etc.) with waffle fries. This was the kids version of a burger, I wasn't overly hungry so I went for something simple & per Aubrey's explanation the mini stack was truly the perfect size. Cannot wait to go back to this place to try more. read more

We were excited to try this place. It looked really good and it seemed to be patronized fairly well. Unfortunately it was not all we hoped it would be. Initially, the service was friendly and though it remained friendly, it was inattentive. We had to ask for drink refills to which never came. When we asked for a side of sauce, it took an extra lengthy time to receive it. The restaurant had business but it was not busy. Also, they seemed to have plenty of servers. What we ordered: Street corn 8 out of 10, these were quite good. They add a little Panko to the outside for some crunch but in my opinion, this is not needed and throws the texture off a bit. Buffalo tempura cauliflower: 6 out of10. The sauce was spicy and really tasty but the batter was much too thick Burger dip aka a French dip with a burger patty instead of roast beef. 6.5 out of 10. We loved the bun and the grilled caramelized onions. It was a little bland and the sauce they serve on the side (not the au jus, that was fine) was a little odd. The waffle fries were really good. It was $3.95 for a plain ice tea that we never got refills on. The tea was weak and not great. We wanted to love this place and while we did enjoy some of the food, the service was not on par. The prices are steep and there are just too many other really good dining options in the area. My suggestion is to try something else. Boo! read more

Came here on a whim and was able to get a table with a 15 min wait. Ordered loco Moco fries, salmon sandwich w/ Parmesan truffle fries and the three pepper burger w/ waffle fries. Drink wise, I love that you can order a flight of beer and they had a variety of drink options. Even the shake has booze in it (which you can get the shake without alcohol). Overall everything tasted good but the loco moco fries were a pass for me. The gravy was salty, the fries were over salted to the point the fried egg had a bitter/salty crunch. read more

This is a nice casual dining burger joint. They have a nice bar with some great drinks and I love that they feature daily specials. The drinks really are impressive. The staff is great, very friendly and they don't let your cup run empty. I ordered the salmon sandwich and the flavors were great but the salmon was overcooked and I I hate to say it but dry...The calamari is definitely something to try! I thought they did a great job with that dish and I'd come back for that for sure. read more

I really wanted to give this place more stars, and I think they can get there, but they need some consistency and quality control first. We actually went twice back to back days. Once because we were in the area and were craving a burger, and once the next night because my sister wanted to try it. It was busy both times, though definitely not as hectic the second night. We got sat almost immediately, and our server greeted us quickly, but that is where the quickness ended. I think that people are going to be understanding with higher wait times for food, if the food is hot when it comes out, which it wasn't. Particularly the loaded fries. The gravy was luke warm and nothing on the plate was warm enough to melt the little pieces of cheese. That said, the flavors were pretty good. The burgers are good. They have a sort of smashburger or Freddy's sort of feel. Thin patty that's crisp on the edges. Lots of interesting options too in terms of toppings like PB&J and French dip. The kids meal was actually a great deal. A decent size burger with fries and an ice cream sunday. Honesly, if I ever went back I would probably order it for myself. The big thing here is their whiskey, though the night I went with my sister, she asked for a fairly popular whiskey that it turned out they don't carry. If whiskey is your thing then hopefully they continue to expand their selection. That said, you can see they have a lot! The setting is nice. Clean, open concept. But cramped and definitely a ton of traffic, especially when it gets busy. One more thing, the first time we were there my glass was grimy on the outside. Not sure if that was residue from the dishwasher or my servers hand. And, I did experience some intense tummy distress later that night, but the two might not be related. I have ordered here MULTIPLE times and love the 3 pepper bomb burger and USED to like the chop chop salad. However, the last THREE times I have ordered the salad for pick up, I was given a sad little amount of unfresh/wilted "lettuce/greens", soggy bacon, and a tbsp or so of the corn. FOR $18!!! In the future if anything I will just purchase the dressing and make my own salad at home. Hate it when good quality restaurants start to not care anymore, and given it has consistently been happening now, I have to believe this is how it will continue to be in the future =/ I also only order pick up because the service is not very friendly. I've had a nice bartender ONE time while I was waiting for my food, but the other times everyone seems angry/annoyed to have customers. read more

Parking was crazy! But this place looked really cool from the outside, and we have been wanting to try it out for a while now. Turns out, well worth the crazy parking lot. The burger was the best part of the meal, super juicy, flavorful sauce, and awesome toppings as well- I loved the grilled pear! The waffle fries were good, but once someone pointed out that they tasted like cheddar ruffles, and couldn't taste anything but that... maybe if they were less crispy, they'd be better. Biggest selling point for me- they didn't charge for extra ranch! I'm weird, but if a restaurant charges extra for ranch, I have no forgiveness. Great Dinner- 10/10 eat! read more

We showed up right at the dinner rush. It's wasn't long to get seated and the person who cleared the table was very kind and attentive. The food was good and the variety of whiskey was good. Nothing super impressive but they were definitely packed. read more

This place was really good when I went in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. It wasn't overly crowded like it usually is, the first time I tried this place it was gross and I didn't think I would ever go back but I gave it another try and have to say it was much better and I could of just ordered the wrong thing the first time. Everyone rants about how good this place is and the relaxed ambiance of the place and I have to agree. This time the food was fresh and absolutely great and the beer was delicious. read more

The burgers are just "okay." The fatted sow has a lot going for it with "Bacon, bourbon-bacon slaw, bacon-whiskey jam, cheddar, pickle, marinated tomato, Stack sauce, Beef and bacon patty." The problem is it just doesn't bring any wow factor. The onion rings were pretty great but the fries were cold and way too salty. The shakes have chocolate chips in it which don't work with the straw they give you. read more

Been waiting for this Gourmet Burger Restaurant to open. It took a while to get our food but it was very good. I had the Bahn Mi Burger and Bren had the Three Pepper Bomb Burger but it wasn't that spicy. Great food & Great Service. Another one to add to my favorites. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would!!! Prices do not match the quality of the food. I ordered the Poutin burger which had gravy. The burger was cold, the gravy got thick. The waffle fries are hard as a rock & the service was TERRIBLE!!! read more
