In the evening the fireplaces are burning with hardwood every night and they offer fresh made s'mores to hotel guests. There's actually a s'mores menu. The whole environment is almost like something from a movie. They've also got a wonderful library that is tastefully appointed with many wonderful and interesting different books to read. It definitely invites you to sit down and snuggle by the fire with a good book. Such a cozy feeling! You can also select some candy for a snack. The rooms themselves are also beautiful and the bedding looks nice. Though I will say for me personally the pillows were really uncomfortable, and they had a rough spun duvet which smelled musty on the inside like it hadn't been washed in quite awhile. It looked and smelled like they were washing the sheets and the blanket but not the duvet itself. They also offer breakfast in the morning, but it's a little bit later than some other places so if you have to get an early start, then you probably won't be able to catch it. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and would say this experience is really good for the boutique traveler that is looking for a peaceful, unhurried trip.

I mentioned to front desk receptionist Jazmine Tapia that I was hot and uncomfortable in my room -- just an offhand comment, truly. What happened next floored me. Jazmine took it upon herself to go to a nearby store -- on her own time, with her own money -- and bought me a fan so I could be more comfortable. No one asked her to do this. No manager directed it. She simply saw a guest in need and acted with pure, genuine kindness. In an era where going above and beyond feels increasingly rare, Jazmine didn't just exceed expectations -- she redefined them. And she did it with such warmth and grace that it made the gesture feel completely natural, like it was just who she is. Of course I reimbursed her and tipped her -- that was the least I could do -- but no amount of money captures how much that gesture meant. It turned what could have been an uncomfortable stay into a truly memorable one. Jazmine Tapia is the kind of person who makes a property shine. There were only 2 drawers for clothing in a tiny closet. Bathroom had a single sink and a large shower. One positive was the very comfortable mattress. A shallow salt-water pool and fitness center were located on the second floor. Bicycles were available on the ground floor too. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this hotel and would return again.

While the word motel has certain perceptions attached to it, farmhouse is in actuality a bright, modern, and very aesthetically pleasing hotel with wonderful amenities. Prices can be average to above average depending on the time of the year, but we were able to use some credit card points to save even further. I'd say the stay is worth the baseline price, though. We got the standard king bed room. Each room has its own little patio, and a shared fire pit nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and the color palate is a dream. The bathroom amenities were standard. It's a room you wouldn't mind doing a staycation in. The service is wonderful. There is a front desk for easy check in, and the host was available via text if we needed anything ( at one point we needed more tissues and she brought it within minutes). They also offer free rosé upon arrival and free pastries and fruit/coffee during breakfast. The location is not exactly in downtown but it's a 15 min walk or a 5 min drive to the park/square. The only thing we found odd was that it seemed that the bathroom door wasn't closing all the way which we were okay with it. They also have complimentary breakfast which was really nice. It was so unique, but love that the kitchen was open to the seating area. We primarily went for an event, which the hotel offered complimentary shuttle to go and pickup. It was an amazing perk. Overall, loved the hotel. It was in a good spot near downtown. When we inquired they were quite reluctant to offer all of those. The welcome amenity never happened. As I was chatting with other guests in the hot tub none of them know about those services either and they were not offered. So, if the hotel doesn't plan to give them to the guests the should pull it off from the website. The people who work here are pretty nice. The park like setting is also a plus. Hauling your luggage to the second floor is something else. I packed light so it's not a problem for me but I see other guest struggled. They offer pick up service if you come via public transport. I found The Lofts at the Market through my Amex hotel portal and honestly had zero regrets booking it! The two-bedroom unit was so nice and super spacious. Everything was incredibly clean. I was mainly in contact with Emily and Jill, and they were both so responsive and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Everything is handled through text, but if anything urgent comes up they're available by phone. Anytime I needed something--like extra towels or ice--I got it right away. Check-in, the stay itself, and check-out were all seamless. There's no lobby, which didn't bother me at all. There's a little market walk downstairs with restaurants, though some were closed since we came during the week. But downtown is super walkable, so it wasn't an issue. We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again when we're in the area. Thanks again to Jill and Emily for making everything so easy!
