She had been interested in trying some of their goods since she was hearing positive comments about the bakery. She brought home five items totaling $14.75 before tax and tip. The two large cookies, a custom pumpkin flavor with a smile shaped piping of buttercream topped with a crumble, and an Earl Grey with a sugar glaze drizzle, were both very enjoyable. They were soft and chewy. Being "large" cookies, we easily shared each one and felt we had been satiated. A Cinnamon Twist was possibly our least favorite of all the items. While I really liked the concept of a cinnamon filling in a filo pastry dough, we thought it was dry and too light on cinnamon flavor. The Raspberry Square, again, was enough for two people to share, but seemed to be short on the amount of raspberry flavor. While it appeared that there was plenty of raspberry filling, the amount of buttery shortbread crust/base and streusel topping overpowered an otherwise enjoyable filling. The Earl Grey Brownie had a really nice chewiness like any good brownie should. The flavor of the tea leaves is very light, just like in the cookies, and there is a true richness to the brownie.
