Highland partners with a local nursery that has an exceptional selection of high quality bushes, trees, shrubs and perennials. We were able to select exactly what we were looking for with their guidance. Highland utilizes software capable of creating 3D renderings of the landscape with the plants we selected at full maturity to ensure that we were getting the curb appeal we envisioned. Highland doesn't hesitate to devote a large crew to a landscaping project when its required. Every Highland employee that we interfaced with was courteous and respectful. Once the plants were delivered, they planted with the same care and attention to detail. After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent! We had M Brothers come out in Feb/March of 2024 and do our install. They were just getting started as a company and we wanted to give them opportunity as they had done a good job at a neighbors home. The seams are unsightly and we were told that after time it would smooth out. That obviously isn't the case. Still waiting on getting this taken care of after 16 months.
