Sunday Afternoon, I'd say about 1/2 the tables were occupied, sit were you want. Our waitress was a very pleasant young woman, she could not have been nicer, answered all of our questions. Overall service was excellent in all respects. Food was hot and served fast. Everything was tasty with generous portions. I would have given 5 stars but my "steak" was not quite as expected. It was a very thin piece of beef, cooked well done, I had ordered "medium". It would be hard for the steak to be anything but well done given how thin it was. The steak was surprisingly chewy but when you combine everything on the plate, it was still a delicious meal.

Let me say the food is not too bad, but not my favorite. For me personally I would give at least a 3.5 , but thought they deserved more than a 3. Likes and dislikes Likes: affordable prices, especially for Portuguese food! The steak is huge and juicy! Fries are crispy and delicious. The waitresses and women who have opened and maintained this place are so nice. Dislikes: The food selection could be a little bit better, come on a Portuguese restaurant they doesn't have a lot of Portuguese soups?? My mom's fish was absolutely disgusting. She was sick to her stomach from the powdery nasty stuff they call "breading". The fish was also bland. Besides all of this me and my dad come back each time because they can make a nice steak and shrimp Mozambique. The place is clean but the furnishings could be improved. I would only come here for the shrimp or steak since those seem to be the best things on the menu.

Best Portuguese steak meal in the city. Not much more to say here. Place looks drab. But food is where it's at.

When I walked in, I stood in the waiting area for about 10 minutes waiting to be seated. The restaurant was not busy, and there were two servers sitting at the bar chatting with the bartender who clearly saw me but did not acknowledge or greet me. A simple "Hi, we'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Eventually, the bartender (a tall young man) approached me without greeting me and started walking upstairs. He then turned around and said, "I forgot a menu," as if it was an afterthought. When we got upstairs, he placed (more like tossed) the menu on a table that still had a dirty cup on it that looked like someone had just been drinking from it. Instead of addressing that, he immediately walked over to another table to check on two guests who were already dining. After finishing with them, he walked right past me without asking if I'd like to start with a drink or acknowledging that I was even seated. There was absolutely no hospitality it felt more like hostility and indifference. The ambiance is aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately that's where the positives end. The food is mediocre at best and definitely not worth overlooking such poor service. Customer service makes or breaks a dining experience, and today it completely broke it for me. I won't be returning and would recommend trying one of the many other restaurants in the area instead.

We've been to Hamilton Diner many times and the food is consistently delicious. On this visit, our home fries weren't quite as crispy as we'd asked for. It was a small thing that honestly wouldn't have affected our rating at all -- we know how busy things can get. What impressed me most was Ari personally coming to our table to apologize and bringing out a fresh replacement. He didn't have to do that, but he did - and that's exactly why we'll keep coming back. Thank you, Ari, for your compassion, your humbleness, and the pride you take in your restaurant. You and your team are doing it right. Also sorry for the lack of photos, we dug right into our dishes. The Biscuits and Gravy dish is delicious!

The bartender was working hard. He had a full bar of customers and many diners to try to keep up with. Here is the problem. We were there at 5:30 on New Year's Eve...and I know it is a busy night...but this was 5:30 and I ordered a double espresso martini...only for the server to come by after about ten minutes and apologetically tell us that we could not have that because the bar was out of Kaluha and Baileys!!!! I mean really ... at 5:30 on New Years Eve? One may think it unreasonable to be a bit miffed that a bar would have run out of two bar staples so early on New Year's Eve...but I over heard the server telling another table that they had run out of Sprite too. Well ok, so I ordered a martini from their seasonal menu as I had just seen one served at the next table and it looked great. We received our meals served by the kitchen staff in short order , but still no martini. Finally the server came by to apologize but she was still waiting for my drink. By then I had her cancel the drink ordered altogether. Now mind you, I do not fault the staff. I think there was just two servers and one bartender on duty. But, this is where good management would have stepped in and assisted them. As to the shortage of beverages...well all I can say is that there is a Market Basket and a Liquor store in the very same plaza as the 110 Grill. In my humble opinion, a good manager would have made a purchase or two from the readily available retailers nearby, especially on a busy night. I did observe the manager standing by the kitchen window (presumably monitoring timeliness of the food orders). But still, I find it hard to believe the lack of bar supplies. Perhaps the manager could have pitched in and helped the overworked bartender, or attended to his needs. Now, I know that bars and restaurants depend on liquor distributors, and maybe this was a one off. At the same time, I also know that liquor sales are a high mark up item, so a little creative thinking would have gone a long way to making for happy customers. Again, the food was excellent, the service was the best it could be under the circumstances. Management, however could use some improvement.
